I don't agree/disagree with all opinions on GA's recent attempt.

So that's a convenient time to lose the connection with Wendy.

I don't like the way George Anthony was discussed on this program at all.

LOL I think that was pretty close to a direct quote. :)

*coughs* I was trying to be nice.

Sounds like it is ending. Too bad!

Oh wait, Diane Dimond! Hope she stays on topic.

Diane: "Prosecutor doesn't get the luxury of stretching the truth."

(Now giving Diane's intro and bio)

Moving on to another case: US Border Guards.

hmmmmm, I still think if KC didn't kill her child she would have been the first one to say so and throw the guilty party under the bus. Her only loyalties are to KC. That's why I don't agree with Wendy's scenario.

I thought this was an interesting interview. I can't help but wonder if Baez is acting in a way in hopes of getting thrown off this case, despite what he says to the public. Its obvious that he doesn't have the experience to deal with a case of this magnitude. I wonder if he just don't have what it takes to admit it..

Diane on to the Border Patrol shooting where LE was arrested.

I understand some of you don't like how GA was portrayed, but it is her opinion, and the opinion of others at WS.

WS has definitely muffled my "style" with the TOS (and I agreed to the TOS so I'm not complaining!!). I am well known in real life for telling-it-like-it-is bluntness and I think I have more of a girl crush on Wendy now than ever!

Wendy Murphy is definitely someone worth listening to, IMO. Her book And Justice For Some is available in audiobook format and she narrates. In case you want a way to get your Wendy Murphy fix :)

I respect that everyone has different opinions about George--
When his suicidal overtures are discussed in the way they were on tonight's show, it sounds a bit like someone is saying "try harder!" in response to incomplete suicide attempts. Or just plain Schadenfreude. But that's just my opinion.

I concur. I almost turned it off when she first spoke of it, then I am glad I left it on, as some of the other points made were very good.

I was very, very surprised to hear DL agree. His articles are usually very unbiased and simply factual.

I know! And the laughing when discussing George's motel room. It was gross.

I am going to choose to imagine that time constraints prevented Lohr from explaining his viewpoint more and making his response sound less callous. I don't know.

I see your point too and I don't wish anyone to commit suicide, or get pleasure out of any of this. I'm just not sure he was really trying, but I could be wrong!! There are just so many twists and turns with this family NOTHING would shock me at this point.

ITA! Wendy is sharp and tells it like she sees it. I love her!

The opinions are great, and make for good discussion.

A simple caveat blanket statement such as, 'suicide attempts (or pleas for help,) should never be ignored and LE did the right thing', is usually enough to keep opposing views on GA's circumstances flowing constructively. That seems to work well around WS. Agree to disagree, and find common ground where you can out of respect.

Then, discuss. :D

I thought the laughter was directed at the fools who are flocking to Daytona to rent the same room. Not at GA. What a bunch of weirdos they must be.

Dang it!! I am soooo angry I missed a program that actually had some good info, to tune into another GR dud!

The "exclusive interview" with cindy was a re-air from July!!!!! AND, to add insult to injury, they only played 90 seconds of it!!! Grrrrrrrr, when will I ever learn? sigh....

Lovejac, I think the interview will be archived on the website. So check back later and maybe you can hear it!

You're right-- it was-- I'll be the first to admit I'm almost hairtrigger defensive of George Anthony-- especially when his alleged suicidality is discussed.

I just didn't like anything about the way this program discussed George, and the amusing factoid about the motel room rounded the discussion off in a way that left a bad taste in my mouth. But that's just me :)
