Casey bought the tickets to PR?

Please don't start the silly name-calling, Monkeybones, (calling people Cindy just because they are stating a simple fact about whether a passport or birth certificate is required when you travel to Puerto Rico, etc.) When you start name-calling and discussion about posters themselves, you are breaking site rules and could get the thread closed. A thread got closed down yesterday because of name callers.

ok whatever you say Cindy

Seriously...please cut that out. Everyone who posts another side of the story is not one of the Anthony's. And if they happen to be, so be it. I don't think that type of "outing" is conducive to an open discussion though. I appreciate differing opinions and have a few myself that I hesitate to share because I don't want people to make assumptions about my identity like this.

I have said many times that I think Caylee is in Puerto Rico with "relatives". If LE hasn't checked a certain location in PR, shame on them. The man who Caylee strongly resembles has family in P.R., and they appear to be very well off.

That was why we chose PR for vacation, we were planning on short notice and had not renewed our passports so that ruled out the other places we were considering, but Puerto Rico was fine because no passport required or anything since it's a U.S. territory. So we got tickets for PR, had a great time, beautiful place. Of course you show your ID like normal when boarding, our child was 5, he doesn't have any kind of ID, he was just with us, never had to show a birth certificate and I've never heard of one being required.

I haven't been in years! I was a little put off by how all the guys kiss each other--They would greet both my husband and I with kisses!! Normal for them but hubby was weirded out!

We travel every year for vacations and such and I have to show proof my kids are actually my kids

Being military it's easier on Ids because my kids each have their own id which has to be used at the doctors and for paperwork when he's deployed

I've had to show their ids each time we went to Mass,Disney World and Chicago

All airlines ask for your id when you check in--to make sure you are who you say you are

That's funny, we're military too, our son doesn't have an ID yet, but I never heard of children's IDs being required for commercial plane travel since non-military families don't have IDs for kids anyway. Do you mean on regular commercial, domestic flights you have to show military IDs or birth certificates for your children to fly? I've never heard of that before. Very interesting.

i am allowed to state my opinion and unless Cindy has been added to a list of dirty words that i'm not aware of i don't consider it name calling.
i will not say it again however just to be polite to everyone else in this thread.

No even if unticketed they still appear on the manifest--this is incase the plane crashes they need to know how many bodies to look for

Thanks for this info, I wasn't sure.

No, you don't. They never asked my son's name or anything when I travelled with him as a toddler. They just noted I had a lap child.

That's what I thought I remembered when my son was little. Maybe they make a note of the number of lap sitting children for the plane manifest.

"Everyone else" in the thread? Your apology needs to go to me actually. If you want to continue with this harrassment you could get the thread closed down.

Yeah we never fly military flights

I don't remember what they're called--lol!!

We have used Air Tran,United,Midwest and Southwest when we travel and each time we were asked for id

You must surely be mistaken. I was not harrassing anyone! I also was not apologizing, just commenting I would not say that particular name anymore.

However could it have been possible that Casey sent Caylee with Ricardo or Amy to PR when they went? Did Caylee accompany Casey to the airport? I find it very strange that Casey was buying these people tickets to PR, if she herself could not go due to her not having enough money to do so. Esp if she bought Amy a ticket to PR but then turned around and stole money from Amy. Did I understand it that Casey DID buy herslef a ticket to go to PR the same time that Ricardo and Amy were there? I have to wonder if Ricardo, Amy and Casey were not somehow in to a plan where they would help Casey move to PR to get away from her parents, and sent Caylee ahead with SOMEONE.

I think they need to start searching for Caylee in PR. That is IF she is still alive, which sadly I don;t think she is.

Several holes in this theory: Amy was expecting to come back and move into KC's parents house with Caylee. KC said her mother was going to sign over the house to her. Her mother said she was not planning to do that when asked by Amy.

Any of those guys that went to PR could come forward, tell where Caylee is located and get big bucks of reward money. I find it hard to believe that 5 people could keep a secret like this without cracking to LE, esp. for the reward money if nothing else.

Next, airlines may not always ask for id's on children, but they DO document when a baby is on board, child on lap, etc. They would know if Amy and gang traveled with a child. LE checked this out thoroughly and there was no record of a child on the flights in question.

Regarding KC's "generosity" - I have had co-workers, etc. ask me to pay for things on my credit card and give them CASH. It is a common thing to do and then she can spend cash without the credit card paper trail. Plus I bet she was using her mother's credit card, so she was getting FREE cash.

I have always hoped this could be the explanation. I still pray that that little girl is alive and well. I think I know who you mean, I saw the pictures on his website and wondered if that was his family's home. The little "casita" etc.

My husband is retired air force now working for the navy. We were in the air force at the time of travel. He was just back from Balad, Iraq and we were celebrating :)

I do not believe for one moment that Casey sent Caylee to Peurto Rico with her friend Amy!!! Amy was angry with Casey when she got back and found that Casey had stolen the money from her and WROTE the checks she wrote.

Where did you hear that Casey bought herself a ticket to Puerto Rico? I follow this case everyday and have never seen this in print. Do you have a link, please?

But I always thought the authorities should be looking in Puerto Rico for Caylee, at least early on in the case. I wonder if a 2-year-old could be on a plane without being on the flight transcript or whatever you call it, the list of seat tickets. Because you don't usually have to book a ticket for a 2 year old, do you?

The child has to be under 2 years old and be a lapchild. I do not know why the name of the child would not be taken for everyone because they took my granddaughters name when she was 18 months old and I was taking her back home. She had spent 2 weeks with me.

This was with Delta Airlines and we flew into National Airport in Washington, DC.

Ditto with my granddaughter, we were taking her home on our flight and had to have her birth certificate and notorized letter from my daughter allowing us to board with her.

Airline said it was standard procedure since Sept. 11th. ID for every passenger.

I would be interested in knowing whom she bought tickets for and if they were 2 way. Just throwing this out but if AH, RM, JPC all went to P. Rico did they all fly down together or just back together. Could there have been a private flight taken by one of them but they returned with the others. Also a ticket could have been purchased but you can be a no show. LE would be able to get that info but you can bet they would not be telling anyone else about it.
It would be a nice ending if that little girl was alive and well in P. Rico but with what has come out in the last week it has gotten very difficult to hang onto that tiny tiny thread of hope and it has gotten to the point now that it would be nothing short of a miracle.
It is so sad to put that down in print
