I agree Logicalgirl. This trial is going to bring out things that are going to be almost impossible to deny. But CA is in such profound denial that she may do it.

It is pretty hard to forgive yourself when a baby is killed and you know that the person she is with is not taking the best care of her. CA lies and lies and lies through her interviews and it is going to come out.

Why she lied about NOT telling Tony that KC will rob you blind or something to that effect when she arrives at his apartment on July 16th, I will never understand. There are three people, Amy, Tony and a friend who can and will say that Cindy was furious when she showed up at the apartment and had choice words for KC. Just as I understand why KC lies (she is a sociopath), I don't understand why Cindy lies about something as ridiculous as this - her word means nothing as Cheney implied before he was hired.

Agree! All of the A's have told some whoppers during the last couple of years, many, as you point out, are SO EASY to prove as a lie! So, why tell them? IMO, it is to avoid the truth. The truth is harsh and painful, unbearable, and shameful. Nothing any of us on here would want to have to admit or live through. With this awful tragedy of Caylee's murder and the use of the Florida Sunshine Laws, we have been able to literally watch a family implode. Very sad! And scary! According to many people who knew them, they seemed like a normal, all-american family. It just goes to show you, you never know what is going on in someone elses life. Appearances can be very deceiving. JMO.

But as far as the defense goes, they are saying she is innocent and someone else did this crime. So they would not be presenting a pschological evaluation on her. She is innocent. She does not need one, no?

I could do a quick evaluation for them. Contempt and loathing for Cindy, that is what drove Casey to kill Caylee.
This little leech sucked everything she could out of Cindy and all her family and still felt entitled to more. When someone (?Cindy) dared to challenge her on it she left in a rage and found the perfect revenge...

Listen to what just one of their neighbors say about them! In no way were they considered the All American wholesome family on Hopespring Drive.

Cindy's brother Rick and Cindy's mother also knew the truth.

Lol! I have heard this one! It is funny! I did say "some" of the people who knew them, didn't I? I meant like JG who said that the KC he once knew could never have harmed Caylee, and other friends, even SP, who said KC was a doting mother. This was the appearance that she gave. The reality was far from it. Again, JMO.

*note bolding by Wysteria to clarify my question*

Hi all. I've been lurking here since the start of this case.
I decided I wasn't going to join until we got closer to the trial.

First I'd like to give a big THANKS to the member's and the owner of this board.
This is the message board I rely on for information.

I do have a question, please and thanks in advance:

I'm uncertain if I understood your post correctly Russell. Were the any/all psyc. docs. released regarding Casey? I have spent 3 days trying to search for the documents prior to asking my question, because I really didn't plan on posting my opinions until the trial started. In addition, I didn't want to take up bw space and ask a question that could be easily found by me. I really did try very hard to search and I'm sorry if this questioned has been asked and answered.

Casey Anthony’s BRACE Character Profile link ... for Obama’s BRACE Character Profile, see my blog. This link works with FireFox, not Internet Explorer.

http://crimsonshadows.net/articles-...ng-mainmenu-140/168-profiling-casey?showall=1

I am unaware of any of Casey's psychological/psychiatric evaluations being released, but looking forward to it if/when they are.

Russell

Hello sleuthers :) I came across a video titled ~ Mothers who murder their children. It's so sad :( A lot of the mothers in this video remind me of Casey and why she killed Caylee. Take a peek it's sad but interesting!

Thank you for providing this link.

Allow me to please first share that I'm not a professional in the pyschiatric field; however I have done lots of research for reasons explained below.

I sincerely hope that I stay on/near topic with the following post I am about to compose. The post I will compose may not be specifically on topic; per se. However, I do feel a need to express my thoughts regarding this video. I have read the TOS twice; and hope that my post is within the rules of this message board.

I do believe that ICA, does fit into at least one if not two of the catagories (is that possible?); listed at the end of the video. It is my ferverent belief that ICA, did indeed commit the alleged crime/s per the indictment. I further believe that ICA did commit the alleged crime of murder in the first degree. IMO, IMO, IMO!!!

I would like to share my feelings regarding some of the other parts of this video. I will try my best to keep this post short. I shared this information when I was a member of the "CTV" board and we were discussing/debating the Andrea Yates case.

My mother was diagnosed with PPP. The only reason that I and my 4 other siblings are alive is because through her haze of delusions, paranoia and horrid suffering a small part of who she was prior to her illness; remained.
She walked toward my brother with a kitchen knife in her heart and stated "I don't want to hurt my children, I need to do this to myself before I do hurt my children".

I believe with all of my heart and soul ICA, lacked all of the true feelings an ordinary mothers feels. I also believe that ICA is a socipath and meets the critera for BPD or NPD. These disorders are difficult for me to discern becuase the symptoms are similar in nature. Or, they "criss cross" (unable to think of a better name right now).

I felt compelled after watching this video to comment on it due to my personal experience. For obvious reasons, I have very strong feelings about mothers that murder and the reasons why. Please pardon my intrusion, excuse my spelling and grammer as this post was written in haste, DH needs to get on computer asap.

They're gonna need one for the penalty "mitigation" phase. imo

Yes they are and that should be interesting because they will undo all of their defense with that - even though the trial will be over. It is going to be beyond interesting to watch the defense go into the mitigating factors.

Anyone can reply to this if you know the answer?

I have read Lee tell prosecutors that Jesse flat out lied to him about meeting Tony at a pool (introduced by Casey). He says Jesse said it never happened and that KC said "he is a f....ing liar".

Jesse readily offers that information to the police in his interview with Yuri, etc.

So I don't know what Lee is talking about. I cannot see Jesse lying about this. Lee also says that Tony flat out lied to him about being in KC's car. I have not seen this either. Tony did not drive around in KC's car. He had his jeep and they drove that to her house the day they got the gas cans. The day he picked her up at Amscot, KC was ready to go with bags in hand and Tony never got out of the car. So Lee is flat out lying here.

I also find it extremely hard to believe that when Cindy called Lee on July 3rd frantic asking him to find KC that she never mentioned Caylee. Lee says she did not and he did not learn about it until later. Now Cindy is frantic and calls Lee to find KC and NEVER mentions she has not seen Caylee - he tells this to the prosecutors. A lie in my opinion. But the reason I don't know. Maybe to look like I did not see this as urgent as it apparently became.

IMO, they lie just to lie. They feel superior and better than others so they always have to "one-up" anyone they speak to, even if it means pulling out a big ole lie for no apparent reason other than so they can think "There! Take that!" CA, LA, and KC all seem to do this. GA, it would seem, lies to keep the peace at this point in time. He seemed to be being pretty honest with LE at first, telling them how KC really was, but after the video release he found himself in hot water at home and so had to tow the line by changing to mistruths, half-truths, and Anthony-truths.

I agree.

I think Lee needed a reason to back his sister for his mother's sake and he decided to become "angry" with Yuri and John Allen to make the transition easier, because it is clear that Yuri tried the best he could with Cindy especially during his interview with her AFTER she had bad mouthed the detectives.

They all know the truth but have decided that the best course is denial. Incredible.

bbm: I so agree Solace......I often wonder if CA is like my youngest child....a VERY honest child (VERY different from the entire A family) - so that separates her from CA immediately....but when my youngest is irate......she says things that she SWEARS she didn't say. It has caused so many problems......

I often wonder if CA suffers from this type of selective amnesia.....but witht he exposure this case gets.....and the access to her own words.....this is what TRULY puzzles me about her...in the face of EVIDENCE to the contrary she will maintain her "current" story.....

Hi GMA,

I also think this family is use to living with lies.

I know that Cindy told prosecutors she was seeing a counselor. That should be interesting for the counselor to have someone in profound denial sitting across from you.

I also think that the family has let themselves get "sicker" and "sicker" since this has begun and done nothing about it but get deeper into it. Remember George ranted "I can't live like this" when KC came home and he was asked to leave (and that is putting it nicely). So either go along George or leave. George obviously can't make it financially on his own so he chose to live the lie with the rest. Or maybe he does love Cindy. I think it is more of a can't make it on my own decision. Lee is furious with the detectives for their attitude and has chosen to transfer the guilt to them basically for not listening to his absurd theories. He has also seen his mother fall apart and that is not easy. They did not look to thrilled to be together on the cruise - or that could have just been a bad shot of them all sitting next to each other. But Lee did not look happy - could just be my perception.

I have a sister who has "selective amnesia". I do not have much to do with her. Nope just didn't happen and swear up and down - incredible.

What I will never understand is why Mallory is still involved with Lee. Can love be that blind?

Have you seen Mallory and I do not mean this to be "mean" - it is just honest. Lee is a lot better looking that Mallory and it is just a fact. Check out the cruise pictures. She is not pregnant but she looks like she is. Hey just being honest.

I don't care what EITHER of them look like, quite frankly. I don't think that should even be an issue. What I think matters is what she is like as a person... her character. I haven't seen or heard much of anything in regards to Mallory that would let me know what she is like as a human being. For all we know her family could be worse then the Anthony's when it comes to honesty and integrity... we don't know... she could be 'cut from the same cloth' as well!

One thing that gives me some idea of what she is like is that she is still around and still with Lee... and last I recall he still loves and supports his sister- that tells me something. Last I knew Mallory's family, or at least her mother is on the board of the dreaded foundation... and that says something to me as well.

We make a BIG mistake in our society when we judge people due to external appearances and we wonder why our Kindergartners think they are fat and not beautiful enough and why we have children as young as 10-11 on diets. Not attractive enough for who?

I want it to matter to my children if someone is kind, funny and honest- not what they flippin look like! This is a slippery slope that I would be careful not to stand to close to! MOO

No disagreement from me. But the facts are what they are. People are more often than not judged by their appearance. Just read a whole article on it and how people who are thin get raises much more often than those who are overweight. I did not have to read that to know it though. We live in a society that is appearance obsessed whether it is liked or not. Apparently it does not matter to Mallory that she comes to Court in shorts to stand behind her future sister in law. I don't think we are dealling with the most intelligent people to begin with here. And that includes Mallory.
