Thanks! When did the cop get the ID? I thought thats when it happened.

Within moments of seeing it. I read it that LE was observing CA remove cc cards. CA had the id in her hand or was reaching for it, LE noticed it was an ID and took it immediately from her. The id card was behind her license.

Smart of LE if ya ask me .......... very smart. This must have happened after 2:25 am because this is the time frame LA said he returned to the A compound with KC's personal belongings.

By the way, what happened to that bag of clothes and whatnots of KC's that was returned from AL's apt???? Anyone ......

I thought so, too. Was surprised that the cop let her take ANYTHING.
I hope that officer has that image imprinted on his brain...and I REALLY hope Yuri writes a book!!

Just taking back what's hers, right? She could give a carp about AH. She was conning Amy, too. trying to get info from her, then telling LE that Amy was part of a powerful drug ring that kidnapped Caylee. Poor Amy thought Cindy was being nice to her, she even told one of her friend that "I would do anything for the family ( to help find Caylee.)" Cindy worked her good," hon." Thats the Anthony MO, use, use, accuse, accuse.

Lee said there was something that "looked like" an old Dl or ID taken by a cop but that is the only place we have heard it. Nobody else has said any such thing, LE has never said anything about it. I don't think of it as a fact cuz it's hard to know what to believe from these people, ya know?

A momma and pappa bird can only react to the most assertive baby. Humans are supposed to be on a higher level. We're supposed to weigh all things and notice that that little right hand baby bird isn't getting enough to eat, enough support, needs help and that the left hand guy is just full of itself. George and Cindy should have seen and identified that in Casey. They didn't.
I don't care for Cindy, George or Casey. I think Casey was the left hand bird and both her parents were unable to cope with her. (Maybe they were both right hand birds?) Casey ran all over them. They let her. They were supposed to be smarter than my mockingbirds!
Hope you all don't think I'm nuts.:crazy::crazy:

They cleaned the old Caylee up when they cleaned the car. Then they recreated a brand new Caylee---one who wasn't killed by her mother---all traces of the old Caylee were washed, like the bedding that CA kept washing---washin that baby down the drain. They don't have many memories of the old Caylee because if CA has memories then she has to member all the mess surrounding the Old Caylee---GA did for awhile but CA will fix GA to where he sees the New Caylee and not the Old Caylee. If CA talks about memories then she has to remember what really happened---KC killed the Old Caylee---they srated the book/chapter/script all over---brand new.
Wow, powerful posts!!

I will have to disagree.....politely...to Unicorn's statement that the A's should have seen how "full of it" Casey was and to stop "feeding her." They DID stop feeding her (attention) when their grandbaby was born. I will agree she is the LEFT hand bird getting fed but the A's now had a new bird to feed (Caylee, the weak, right-hand bird) which upset the balance of the nest. They were human and equalized the "feeding" which upset the stronger, louder, demanding and annoying bird, Casey. (They probably gave the weaker Caylee MORE attention as she needed it most). She just took matters into her own hands and equalized everything back so that all the attention would be only on her again......sadly it is. The A clan is back to feeding that stronger bird in the nest and they are coping the way they have always coped with her.....denial. There is something just under the surface that I just can't seem to put my finger on that makes Casey powerful enough to keep her immediate family singing her praises and supporting her. Thank you, Unicorn, your analogy to the bird nest was brilliant. BTW, how are the birds?

Mamabear, I got a lump in my throat just because of the picture you painted of how they recreated Caylee by washing her memory clean.
I wish the A's had done the normal thing and held up Casey to the light of justice. We would have had a great picture of who Casey really is by all the people she would take down with her. They know that she holds the power to throw them all under the bus before herself. The family truth would not have been something they could have ever washed clean. Caylee's memory and loss just seemed so much simpler to handle than Casey telling the world their deep dark secrets and lies.

OLG, I have had long thoughts about the A clan lies. The patterns I have seen is they will lie if there is no one around to discredit their statements. Their spin stories are just that. Mind you now, CA is fully in manipulation mode to change the lie/story but in some way she does admit the incident, just adds her spin to it to muck up the importance.

However, when they make statements to others who can verify said statements or refute said statements, then a sliver or slivers of truths do emerge from their lips. Ain't too often it happens, but it does.

Take LA's interview, a great example. He knows LE is swarming the A compound 7.16-17.08. He tells LE about going to AL's apt, yada-yada-yada how he conveniently found KC's laptop with the BSOD. Plants blame on the occupants at the apt before he got there. Tells LE about CA "lifting" the cash from KC's wallet. YET when LE is present he does disclose CA wanted to remove the ID, but LE took it first. Kinda/sorta difficult to say a lie with LE standing right there.

By the way, I don't remember the computer forensic report about the BSOD on KC's laptop. Off to read that one again ......... thankfully I can read error dumps.

You are absolutely right, Firefly. I agree with your analysis that the Anthonys failed to raise Casey properly. . . But it wasn't the method they used, so much, that I was addressing as my struggle with the nature vs nurture quandary.

As bad as Cindy is, I have always wondered if it could have been the result of trying to raise a horrible person like Casey. . . And, conversely I have wondered if many of Casey's problems might have been brought about by Cindy's selfish and controlling nature. I have had trouble figuring out who is the cause and who is the effect (nature vs nurture).

After watching the mockingbirds, I decided that unlike animals we human parents are supposed to adjust our parenting as each child needs. I think the Anthonys had the responsibility to find out what was wrong with Casey and they didn't. I think this family is a lethal combination of a real bad kid that was born to real bad parents. Both nature and nurture are to blame, imo, but the parents are responsible for providing the appropriate nurturing. We are supposed to be smarter than mockingbirds!

I'm with ya. I think she was born with the "gene" as some refer to it but the way she was raised (or NOT "raised") set her future in stone. Some are born with the "gene" and turn out fine, some are born with no such "gene", come from wonderful parents who do everything right but end up just like Casey. In this case I believe Cindy's own illness clouded her vision for so many years she's become a pro at ignoring her family's reality.

I totally agree with KC being born with this disorder and happened to have a parent or both feed into the disorder with there own pathologies. In this case allowing the sociopaths tendencies of crime to escalte as we know was the perfect time for intervention. Even if I had no knowlledge of my child having this disorder I would as you had her in therapy lickety split and get my own therpist on how deal with her. Had CA's interview with her therapist (far to late) not have been so revealing of family she may have gone again. CA grabbed what she felt she needed for leverage (KC sociopath) and bolted. It didn't seem to take her to long before CA used her new big word. I feel this disorder has varying degrees similar to other disorders of the brain, allowing for many with this diagnosis to thrive as far as taking care of oneself throughout life. This disorder of the brain in my opinon doesn't seem believeable to some because people can't see the outward disturbing symptoms.

What's "BSOD" ?

:rolling: Microsofts Blue Screen of Death ...... Us Mac users don't encounter this. :) Nor do we get those pesky viruses and spyware carp... that float around every week.

BSOD can happen for many reasons, software conflicts, viruses and intentional. Still haven't read the computer forensic docs yet. On my list of things to do. I got sidetracked earlier reading the receipts docs.

Yeah even though they knew she was irresponsible, stealing, etc, I can't really fault them for not making the leap to think she could be a murderer. I do fault them for their reactions afterward, especially as time passed by and it was painfully, painfully obvious that she was at the very least responsible for the death and clumsy cover-up. A year should be enough time to come to grips with it.

Macs are great, aren't they Countzero? I 'created' the BSOD (unknowingly) when I (thought I) deleted and erased all my data, including the OS, on an old PC I once had before I gave it away. Just like Casey's computer, they were still there. Only way to truly erase old data is to physically destroy the hard drive. Isn't it great that whomever attempted to eradicate Casey's computer files didn't know this either? :woohoo:

BBM, in reference to the bolded portion, I wonder who that was that caused the BSOD ? The way I see it, Casey didn't have enough time, unless she was tipped off to her mother's visit (I don't think she was). That only leaves...well, you know.

Sorry JBean. Been absent awhile and forgotten the rules. I'll be good.
welcome back :)
No worries, it wasn't just you and it happens to all of us all the time. Lots of overlapping issues. but we just do the best we can.

Not sure where to post this, but think it fits here- sorry if wrong, mods...
Seeing how the A's have responded to things in the past, and the sham of a memorial service they had for Caylee, I'm wondering if the huge Michael Jackson memorial will goad CA into some action to pull the spotlight back onto the Anthony family circus? Seems to be CA's mode of operation....any thoughts?
