Big difference between a hooker and an escort. To be dancing and whoring and still be broke, I think she must have been spending her money on other things.

A lot of exotic dancers/sex workers do drugs which wipes them out, physically, emotionally and financially, but I don't see major drug use in Casey. She seems unorganized, not able to come up with really good plans. I can see her trying some freelance sex thing at some point, or thinking about it, but not able to really get it organized. Based on what we've seen so far, I think she was just 'borrowing' from friends and aquaitenances. Most of all, I think she was lookin' for Mr. Right and had bagged herself a prime candidate when Cindy barged in.

Random thoughts as I read backward on this thread.

1. IMO Casey isn't mentally ill-- she's a bad person.
2. I'm really intrigued by the pictures George is talking about in the FBI tapes.
I'm quite certain they are not pictures we've been allowed to see. I read an unsubstantiated claim on another board and posted it in the Rumor Thread a while ago. A person claimed to know someone in LE and said there are many pictures depicting Casey in group sex scenarios. I don't know if this is true, obviously. And I don't know if this sex was "for work or for fun" --
I also seriously doubt we'd be allowed to see these pictures unless someone sells them to a tabloid.

The group thing makes sense. If GA and LE are not sure if anyone else has the pics, then it's probably not blatant internet . But maybe there's just pics of group sex and she's clearly in some.

I haven't heard anything implied that it was a job, so far.

EXACTLY! 1200 pictures! How many people put 1200 compromising pics of themselves online just to "show off?"

My guess is that she may have taken some of these herself. If someone did take them for her you can bet, as you said, the FBI has investigated and knows who took them by now.

Something that has haunted me for a long time is the thought of Caylee being around all KC's "boyfriends" and KC spending the night with Caylee at all these various places. I certainly don't trust KC to protect Caylee! :no:

Unless KC really does have a $15K bank account stashed somewhere, I don't think she was "hooking" or "escorting". As others have said, there would have been signs of income and we haven't seen any; expensive clothes, new car, jewelry, weekly pre-set salon appointments, extravagant gift giving, medical insurance etc. And, there would be plenty of money for a licensed day care or a private-sitter.

Prostitution should be legal - JMOO - not meant to offend anyone's sensibilities or moral values.

I am going to guess that CA was giving her some play money every week and let her use the credit cards, expecting KC to keep the purchases to a reasonable amount. No doubt GA gave her some gas money, etc. when she would ask.

As for clothes from Target - what is the big deal? I have bought clothes from Target, Wal-Mart and K-Mart. I have a coat that I bought at a gas station. My "court" clothes came from JCP and "dressy/play" clothes from the avon or spiegel fashion catalog until my practice grew. I hope you girls aren't telling me you are all SFANMB'rs from birth! I don't see a missing money trail that would indicate that she was spending much time escorting. Nor does there appear to be many time slots where she was not at AL's or home, and not on the phone. I totally think she WOULD do it, I just am not sure if she DID do it. And if she DID do it, I think she would have expected to get a show-off lifestyle from it, I don't see her just doing it to make 400/week.

So I think (and this may be unrelated to anything else, just sayin') that it was KC+AH and KC+RM.. Then it was KC+AH+RM... then KC met AL and AH and RM stayed together. Maybe there were pics of the threesome. I got the feeling that the pics GA talked about were scandalous, and he didn't even want to say what they were, but CA and LA would freak out.. I could totally see her doing internet . I agree. I shop at Target and if I see something cute and I need a shirt or pants, I buy it there. Everyone I know has bought clothes at Target or Kohls or whatever. Maybe it's a generational thing.

Oh, you're right. I bet a narcissist like Casey would have LOTS of pics of herself, and would send her (many) bf's naked or half naked pics during the day just to make sure they were thinking of her!

I have always felt she was on crack or crank. Crack is cheap, so she could have supported that habit and men will give good looking women drugs anytime.

She gained weight after going to jail, and slept for days when first arrested. That is indicative of crack. She was up all hours of the night, and day, which many attributed to being "manic", but I believe it was crack manic, not personality manic.

KC apparently had the wool pulled over the eyes of a lot of her friends at one time.....they thought she was a decent, loving, normal person also. Bet if you asked them now, they would probably have another entirely different opinion. You can never judge a book by it's cover. And I believe we're just at the beginning of this "KC novel".
