Just when you thought Jean couldn't sink any lower...- she goes and plays hide-and-seek with his body!!! What good reason did she have to send his body to Montreal other than to avoid prosecution for elder abuse and deny his kids a grave to visit. GRRRRR! I wish a judge could stop her and order her to have the body sent back to L.A.:banghead::banghead::banghead:

No judge can do that. Jean was smart enough to move the body out of the country. Courts here have no jurisdiction. Personally I think that's where she intended to take Casey while he was still alive out of the country so that courts wouldn't have jurisdiction. Sadly the kids will probably never know what she did to his body. Personally I think she had him cremated.

And here I thought wife, Jean, was planning a beautiful funeral and memorial service for which Casey Kasem is deserving of because (she kept stating) he is a national treasure...I believe she stated something of the sort...
I remember reading Jean being quoted or on video saying that, perhaps when she was yelling about dignity etc..... have been trying to find the link.

But instead she is IMO asserting or showing she has control and power to do with as She pleases with her husbands body in spite of what his 3 older children and what arrangements Casey wanted for himself after death.

Thank you. The articles I read were not clear and one made it sound as if she had made the request previously but the judge only Wed issued the TRO.

I wonder why Kerri waited so long, though? I would have been on that right away, especially since the allegations of elder abuse were made before Casey's death.

Kids had own memorial service, which they invited Jean to... Jean was to bury Casey in accordance with his wishes... kids backed off... however, information continues to trickle in, prompting Kerri to request autopsy so a proper investigation can be made into elder abuse -- I'm guessing she caught wind that he wasn't buried yet and combined with info she's receiving decided to take all necessary precautions NOW to avoid exhumation.... just my guess and vho

I don't think what Jean does is due to sickness it's just plain vindictiveness. I just hope his kids can come to grips with the fact they will never know what was done to their fathers remains. At least thank goodness they were able to spend his last days with him. Can you imagine how difficult it would have been to get closure had Jean gotten her way and was able to keep his kids away from him until he died?

I was watching an interview last night with Kasey's family and it was alleged that Jean did the exact same thing with her mother's body while fighting with her own siblings. Apparently Jean cut her siblings off from her mother and had her buried in a place that her siblings will never told of. So I wonder if she possibly buried Kasey in the same secret place where her mother is. Hmmmm.

It lists Manner of Death asending

Place of Disposition is listed as Montreal, Canada July 14, 2014

I am curious about the paperwork Jean filled out for the Death Certificate

Did she not know the names of Casey's parents? she lists Mother and Father as UNKNOWN

Has she made False Statements to the State of Washington?
She lists a Jerusalem place of residence and that she/they have been living in Israel for 18yrs?

Casey Kasem's widow dumped by SECOND set of lawyers

According to documents filed with the Superior Court in Pierce County, Washington, Jean Kasem was let go by Seattle based law firm Ryan, Swanson and Cleveland.

According to TMZ the lawyers claim Jean rarely responds to their emails - and refuses to communicate by phone.
She's also ignored mounting fees against Casey's Estate which they say could end up totaling $500,000.
