Casey to be given new name & moved to secret location. Where is Casey?

Call me crazy, but I feel very sorry for Casey for the way that shes been hounded by society after the verdict was read. No one deserves that kind of treatment. Its not her or the Jurors fault that the prosecution failed to prove that she did it.

And if some of those people are Christians, then they should know better than to do that.

I'm not going to call you crazy, but I'm guessing you didn't see her in court for sentencing after two days of being 'hounded after the verdict was read'. She was carrying on as if she'd just won an Academy Award and a contract with Pantene.

And I'm pretty sure the Christians a) are familiar with Jesus saying, 'Render unto Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and unto God the things that are God's', and b) understand that legal proceedings are one of Caesar's things.

...she'll never go 'incognito'... she likes the publicity too much...

I agree. Why would she want to look like someone else. Then, no one would recognize her. She will probably get her long hair cut and donate it to Precious Locks, her good deed.

But Casey has to be Casey. Who is saying all this stuff?

that's kind of you. i personally am not that big of a person i guess. i really resent her lying to LE, her family and the nation and then busting out with her bomshell of finger pointing 3 years later. i once felt an ounce of pity for her for a nanosecond. she seemed so lost and clueless in PC. then i snapped out out it and realized she is a cruel liar who will stop at nothing to satisfy herself. i dont see her showing an ounce of pity for all the people she has hurt so I decided I cant give her mine. if she would have come forward long ago with the truth and not hurt so many people I could have made peace with my feeling toward her. I do not hold on to hate if someone seeks truth and forgiveness. i may hate the act but can forgo hating the person. unfortunately casey seems to contine to incite ill will because she seems to get worse and more arrogant, not better more docile, graceful, responsible ot remorseful. i cant waste my energy wishing her to be someone she's not. gosh if she could have even shown an ounce of remorse for the loss of her beautiful child i could have softened. in a way i believe its part of a human protective instinct to want to shun her. we have seen what she can do to a persons life. self preservation to want her far away from us prevails.
... and i know its wrong but those wiggling eyebrows and constant smirk make my jaw clench

I think you all are wrong about nobody watching an interview with her. I think people will be waiting with baited breath to see it, if for no other reason, out of curiosity of what she will say. Whoever does the first interview will have the most viewers ever to watch a program. It's easy for people to say they will not watch, but I don't think they will be able to resist. JMO. I will be honest, I WILL watch it.

Not me

Thankfully, the massive Pacific Ocean separates me from that disgusting circus

and I already saw more of her than I needed, during the trial

I refuse to become a reverse KC-groupie

i wont. she had her chance to tell her story. if i watched i would feel as if i were lining the pockets of someone who harmed their baby and lied to a nation. i will quite easily be able to curb my "curiosity" i wish othesr would too but its not my place to ask that.

Exercising the self-discipline to ignore her and boycott any of her and her family's blood moneymaking ventures is the ONLY direct thing people can now do to exact justice and honor Caylee's memory, all other avenues are closed.

That, too.

Yes, I do feel sorry for Caylee, too. Just saying...you have the same kind of incidents that are happening throughout this world (or at least throughout this country), yet none of them have the same kind of very harsh treatment throughout the media in comparison.

To be suspected is that Life will rearrange your priorities before it's done with you

Consider please:

Caylee is dead. No-one was there to defend or protect her. Her life was snuffed out. It didn't have to happen. Many people would have welcomed that little girl into their lives. She had hurt no-one -- stolen from no-one -- lied to no-one

CAYLEE didn't drink and vomit into toilet bowls and film it to put on Faceboook

CAYLEE didn't steal from her friends, from her family

CAYLEE didn't tell lies to everyone she knew

yet Caylee is dead. Murdered. Not even paid the respect we accord our deceased pets

Caylee couldn't understand -- during her dying moments -- why this was happening. She was physically smaller than her killer. She didn't stand a chance

Now let's look at the adults who supposedly loved and owed protection to Caylee

Are they dead ?

Did their bones moulder in a swamp for months as those they'd loved and trusted went partying, boozing, laughing, stealing, shopping and screwing ?

No. They're still around. They're alive. They get to rise to the sun each morning. They enjoy their food. They get to shower and dress and talk and hug

Now there's talk they'll profit from the murder of Caylee. They compete for money and public attention. They get to continue lying about what they did. They have the prospect of decades more of life

Where's Caylee ? Oh, that's right. She's been burned and sifted and pressed into trinkets for her 'loving family' to wear, along with their tattoos

Yeah, I suspect Life will sort your priorities out for you before it's done with you

I made a suggestion the other day that maybe she would move to Aruba. She could party there and would fit in nicely with that crowd.

What a picture you paint -- comes alive in all its tawdriness (if I had any, I'd be reaching for the anti-depressants )

Yes, I can see a B-grade production about her, in a decade or so. Bloated and painted, the Bella Vita tattoo by then faded into the wrinkles of sun-scorched skin

the bags beneath the eyes

the rotted teeth

the substance dependency

And her, sidling up to guys new to town, promising to tell them ' a story you won't believe' for the price of another drink ...

Some enterprising young writer stringing her along -- behind in rent at the Sea Breeze -- promising to tell 'her side'

but when he tries to hawk it around town there are no takers

and he moves on, promising to tell guys at the bar a 'story you won't believe' -- for the price of another drink

GA beaten to death in a scam gone wrong

and CA just another skeletal wreck sitting on a rotting verandah at some end-of-the-road aged care facility

Think I need to go listen to some ambient music now -- out in the sunshine !

omg I just envisioned Tammy Faye Baker all over again! :floorlaugh:

What was the point of this "source close to the Anthony team" giving out this information? If KC is getting a new identity and going to live in hiding for awhile, why doesn't she just do that without any of the sources saying anything? I do not see why KC's every move is of importance to anyone except possibly those who might want to do her harm, so WHY publicize the fact that she will be secreted away?

Just doing it without a word to anyone, leaving people to wonder, makes more sense to me. That a source mentions it to anyone makes it seem less a security issue and more an attempt to get the ball rolling to sensationalize KC's release.

You're right

I have recovered from Verdict Shock, largely thanks to you’all, my WS family.

Caylee will never be hurt again and nothing we do or don’t do will ever change that. Justice for a murder victim is really pie in the sky because they are still a murder victim.

As miserable as we felt about the verdict that the Pinellas 12 gave us, I predict that the defense team will ultimately be more miserable about the verdict than we will be.

Think about the position the dt is in. They cannot just wash their hands and walk away (thanks for that visual goes to GA). This will become the thorn in their side. More money must be spent on secluding and protecting Casey now that she is no longer a guest of the state. Will public sentiment dry up the cash cow before it even gets milked?

This story is not over by a long shot.

We here at WS only need one person to watch and then get back to us on what bull it is.

I watched the first 2 jurors. Don't need to listen to those lameos no more.

Probably so. Though that question I have to answer is...where the heck is Caylee's birth father? I've never heard about that.

Who EXACTLY is footing the bill for all of this hiding and subterfuge? :waitasec:

and the question is - whose money? Not the state's - she's no longer their obligation. We'll see. Watch.
