Casey's Attorney Files Counter-Claims Against ZG

kc changes the tune a bit during the universal interview, the det asks if ZFG could have kids, and kc walks right into it saying, "well, she could, I guess she could have kids.." kc never says how many, just that theres a possibility ZFG has them.

Casey's response of "I guess she could have kids" was to the question of whether ZFG is able to have children. LE was questioning whether ZFG might have kidnapped Caylee because she had no children and could not have children of her own.

I'm trying to figure out, though, how this ZG (the one bringing the lawsuit) can have 6 kids if she's the same ZG who went to Sawgrass on 6/17. I thought that ZG had 2 kids--or did she for some reason only list 2 of her 6 kids on the apartment manager's sheet??

IIRC, she was only going to have 2 children living with her in that apartment, even though she has 6 children altogether. I believe I'm recalling this from the television interview she gave.

ZFG is suing her for defamation and infliction of emotional defense.

Baez's defense is "It wasn't you, it was someone else."

ZFG's attorney then says, "Oh yeah? It was my client who suffered because of the statements made by your client identifying her by name and location. If not her, then who?"

How is Baez going to come up with a "separate and distinct" individual that shares both the ZFG name and an association with Sawgrass?

I believe you are right. Unless JB can come up with some kind of proof of this "other person", they won't give him the time of day.

If Casey claims she knew this woman for SO LONG.... it's unlikely she wouldn't have immediately known how many kids she has... grown or not grown.

If asked "can she have kids" it doesn't make sense that she wouldn't have automatically answered, She HAS kids.... not, I guess she could.


I wonder if this might be one very short trial.... there's no way the defense can even begin to dig themselves out of Casey's idiotic lies.

I'm cracking up already and I'm only at ZFG's allegation #5:
"As part of the investigation, Defendant CASEY ANTHONY was questioned by law enforcement officers."

Baez's response:
"The Defendant is without knowledge of the allegations contained in paragraph five (5) of the Plaintiff's Complaint, and therefore they are deemed denied, and thus, strict proof thereof is demanded."

Jose is now denying that Casey knows anything about being questioned by law enforcement and is demanding proof?

He was so persistent in getting copies of those police documents. You'd think he'd have at least glanced at them by now.

If Baez can proove and verify ONE truthful statement Casey made about ZG, her babysitter, then I'll let him eat KC brownies without any grief from me. There IS no ZG babysitter or kidnapper, and if JB plans to say in any court of law that there is actually such a real person, he's going to have to come up with some place she ever lived, worked or even breathed in Orlando. Good luck with that. I'd bet the pirate ship he couldn't even come close!

My guess is the only reason KC knew that was because those names were on the application from Sawgrass that ZG filled out on the 17th of June. Or,...she could have gotten the info off the myspace page after the 17th.
