Casey's Attorney Files Counter-Claims Against ZG

  • #201
Makes no sense to me. Casey did not describe ZFG's car, why would she have asked someone to look up the license plate #? How would she even get the license plate #? Dante would have had no way to access that information.

No, I never hear her describe ZFG's car in interviews either. BUT..

She needed a NAME of someone connected to Sawgrass. I suspect she staked out the SG parking lot and saw ZFG coming or going from Apt 210 (the model) and go to or from her car parked nearby.

I agree that Dante would not have access to license tag info, but KC may or may not have known that. For that matter, she could have asked him simply "Do you know who lives in Apt 210?" (He lived in #218, after all.) That would have been another avenue for latching onto a NAME to use in her story. Plan B could have been to get the plate on ZFG's car looked up.

JB other clients are DUI people..........does he really know how to handle a real case?
This is a laugh, hope A family can cover his bill............every motion, every minute is $$$ in his eyes.......who else will get sued?......imo

Betty Crocker. That last batch of brownies were pretty dry.

Since we know George was SO upset having Baez represent Casey (rightly so)... I assume the whole family probably told Casey he wasn't the right type of lawyer.... I have to wonder if Casey decided to stick with him just out of SPITE?

It was her lucky day when she met a lawyer who actually believed all her lies!

I'm not understanding. No one lived in apartment 210 and ZFG did not live in the building at all. How would Dante have her name?

Why go to so much trouble to learn someone's name and then insist that person was not the villian? I don't think I'll ever understand that.

But NOBODY actually lived in 210.

I think we have to stick to the theory that somehow Casey was able to see who filled out applications. Since we know she's a sneaky, lying thief, it's not hard to imagine she got the info without asking for anyone's help.

My favorite section of that article...

Eyewitness News found out Friday that Casey Anthony's lawyer has filed a counter claim calling Zenaida's "a frivolous lawsuit which was filed for no other reason but to harass and embarrass" Casey Anthony.

Harass and embarrass Casey Anthony.....Uhh ok?:waitasec:

Yes, WE know that no one lived in 210. But how would KC know that? If she saw ZFG coming/going at that apt, she easily could have mistakenly assumed ZFG lived there and therefore chose that apt as the basis of her story.

Dante probably had no idea 210 was a model. (I've never paid attention to the model apt #'s in complexes where I've lived.) If she asked Dante who lived in 210, it's likely he responded with a "Beats me."

That would have left KC to have to resort to the license lookup in order to get the name of the person she'd seen visiting the model (unbeknownst to her) apartment.

I've probably made my explanation about as clear as the mud at the bottom of the Econ. Sorry.

Oh, for the record.. I don't think AR did anything sinister in connection with the case. At worst, I think he could have run the license plate for KC (of course, under some false pretenses she would have given him).

whats the title of the book ?

lies, lies and more lies

I have decided to name the one I am writing :
SEX, LIES AND VIDEO TAPES..........Opps that name is taken........okay I will call it :

LIES, MORE LIES, SEX & VIDEO TAPES

I will use all her lies, Cindy's lies, interviews with the 1100 men she slept with in a 10 mile radius of her house and the videos of all of the news reports and the trial.

Anyone want to co-author this with me?

Really stupid on his part - because Baez didn't do his research, he's played right into Morgan's hands.

I can't believe he doesn't know that KC's ZG didn't have any kids, it was her sister Sam. Geez..
Other than that major error, I agreed with everything he said. It's not because I like to be unpopular, I honestly agree that this is a frivolous suit filed on behalf of ZG.
The response only says that the name isn't the same, I still don't think that she is ZF-G.

Since everybody hates KC, I'd think that people would be falling all over themselves to support ZG not soil her good name.

You would think when you have a client up for murder and lying to the police you'd try not to paint her into another corner....

I'm trying to figure out, though, how this ZG (the one bringing the lawsuit) can have 6 kids if she's the same ZG who went to Sawgrass on 6/17. I thought that ZG had 2 kids--or did she for some reason only list 2 of her 6 kids on the apartment manager's sheet??

Yes, there were discrepancies, but so many similarities that ZG filed.
She was encouraged to file.

IMO neither of these suits will go far.

Baez is really helping his client. Jury pool....?

Pretend for a minute that you are Casey. Something very bad happens to your daughter, and you are responsible. What do you do?

First, you hide the body somewhere so you're not found out.

Then, you make sure to stay far away from anyone who will make you tell them where she is until either

A. you can come up with a plausible reason for her absence

or

B. you can run away where no one will find you or find out what you’ve done.

Chilly has a point – although Casey may have been mulling over different scenarios, and whether she could disappear on a California Marine base, there is no doubt she was caught unaware by her mother arriving unannounced at Tony’s house and dragging an immediate excuse out of her.

She had to come up with something she thought would be believable, and fast. And because this is Casey, it had to be someone else’s fault.

Agatha also has a point. Did Casey come up with Sawgrass and Zenaida as a spur-of-the-moment thing?

It seems far-fetched that she would pick that place and that name at random. On the other hand, her friend Dante lived right there, and Casey may well have known that the apartment was vacant. She didn’t have time to think through the fact that LE would discover just how long it had been empty, which worked against her.

But how did she come up with such an odd name as ZFG to connect to it?

Entitled, "Musings While Stoned."

(Hey, when we get the link about her writing a book, lets start another thread and call it "Name the title of CA's book!" I bet we could come up with some great titles with all the wit on this board.)
So she's ok to write a book, but not to take a polygraph? Now that makes sense.

Better be careful...I think Cindy has trademarked EVERYTHING Caylee.

If you have a missing child and you are in jail being accused of doing something with her.......would not the last thing you would be doing is filing a lawsuit against this woman? I just give up...I will never understand any of this mess.:bang:

Did she give LE a plate#???

Frankly, I think we're looking too deeply into this.... I think she saw the application, picked that apt. # & that's as far as she thought.....

She never really gave it a thought that anybody would expect her to PROVE this lie.... they never did before, if we are to believe Cindy.

The discrepancies came up only when LE started asking for more info than just a name, address & phone #.... now she has to invent a background for this woman she's claiming she knew for years. Ooops.

Thank you for clarifying that for me...that makes sense now...but that is about the only thing that does, lol.
Thanks again:)

No, I find no mention of her giving LE a plate#. But that wouldn't have been the point of her jotting it down. She would have been taking it down only for use in obtaining a "ficticious" name to use in her story.

I may be looking too deeply at this.. but, personally, I think KC would have grabbed a name out of the air in the easiest way possible (as in, from the parking lot.. without having to get out of her car, slip into the leasing office, or risk being seen there otherwise.)

TIA with this: "The discrepancies came up only when LE started asking for more info than just a name, address & phone #.... now she has to invent a background for this woman she's claiming she knew for years."

Hence, the made-up "facts" to fill in (i.e. "no kids") when questioned.

Sorry, I never meant to stray so far from the lawsuit topic. :blushing: (Well, I guess it's somewhat related tangent.)

My hunch is that Dante S. (his interview transcripts remain conspicuously unpublished) and/or AR has provided information to LE that makes it clear KC was busy concocting a story on the 17th of June.

MOO

Thoughts?

Dante's interview transcript was in the latest doc dump. Anyone have the link to that? IIRC, it was mind-numbingly boring.....

Didn't KC embarrass herself? Now CA and GA continue to do it for the whole family. I hope Zenaida wins, and the judge or jury award her lots of money and it breaks the A's.

ZG just might win this becuase WFTV just reported that the countersuit was done very sloppy. They asked another attorney who deals with this types of lawsuits on a daily basis his opinion and he said it might not hold up in court due to JB leaving out crucial things like why it was frivilous. He also said you are not supposed to talk about a fellow attorney in the manner he is doing in this suit. No link yet.

I think JB better watch what he files becuase these news people are very good at catching boo boos.
