KC seems to be at such ease lying. I wonder if she would pass a lie detector test. Now, that would be interesting.
It would probably hit when she was telling the truth, because that would be the abnormal reaction.

Has this been a question posed to any of the "TH's" on Nancy's show? Can a tried and true LIAR pass a LD test?

I have no doubt that a sociopath could easily pass a lie detector, as they do not feel the same or normal range of emotions when they lie. They do not experience the same guilty triggers that the rest of us would. Good question...

It would be so much easier to list KC's truths! Let's see....I can think of only two:
1) "I haven't seen my daughter in 31 days"
and
2) "maybe I'm a spiteful "

Big fat lie. She was angry from the moment she was "caught".

The bamboo root thing is very interesting. She could not have been borrowing that shovel to dig a bamboo root to keep Caylee from tripping on that date, as Caylee was already dead by then. So what did she borrow that shovel for again?





One of my personal favorite lies is where she stayed under her covers all day and had been reading her Bible on Caylee's birthday. Surreeee.... right.



ClocksTickin' - I think one of her "true statements" was when she told her parents in a jail house visit that she hasn't been crying at all! A murdering mother like herself probably wouldn't cry over the loss of her daughter.

Often times when she was staying all night at Ricardo's she told her mother she was staying at the "nanny's". Her mother never even knew she stayed at Ricardo's with Caylee. She had no knowledge of Ricardo whatsoever until all of this happened after July 15th.

I think results would be mixed. KC believes a lot of her own lies. She words them (constructs them...as does CA) so that she can convince herself they are true. Lie detectors are usually carefully posed questions with "YES" or "NO" answers. So it would really depend on the interviewer to construct the questions with the same attention to detail. Even a pathological liar can be tripped up with the right question...the mind takes a minute to process that false answer.

One lie that will definitely come back to bite her.. "I actually received a call today from a number that's no longer in service."
Later she said the number came up as "private" on her phone.

If it was listed as private, she wouldn't have been able to call it back to find out it wasn't in service. (not to mention that no call ever existed in the records) I'm sure the state will bring this up at trial.

And totally weird and OT-here's an interesting thought for our resident psychics...could KC's "car parts" connection have taught her how to cut brake lines or whatever? Were the two dead baby-daddies car acciendents throughly investigated???????? Tonight on NG they were talking about "josh". Saying no record of him even existing. But, correct me if I'm wrong, Jesus WAS real and DID die in a car acceident, right, and then ALSO someone else. Erik perhaps? Someone even posted a link to his (post-humous) myspace. And this Josh guy. Again, I ask, how many dead-from-car-acceident guys did she date? And are all their deaths mere coincedence? Hmm...maybe a reason KC keeps quiet...

haha, good point! KC sure does know a lot people who died young and had major car wrecks. I have only known one in my lifetime.

Today I reread KC's original handwritten statement to LE on 7/15, first time I'd read it in ages. There are enough holes in that statement to drive a mac truck through. I'm even more amazed at that statement now than I was then. Yep, that girl can lie allrighty!

It just occured to me, although I'm slower than probably most, that Casey's lies about going where instructed to go by Caylee's kidnappers are going to be easy to disprove. All LE has to do is find out that one of her friends invited Casey to one of those bars that she says she went to "looking for information on ZG".

All it's going to take is one text message to Casey saying: join us at the bar tonight, and if she went, there goes that lie down the toilet. Has anyone found a text message inviting her sorry behind out?

FWIW, Andy F. lives or lived with his parents in Avalon Park out in the Bithlo area. This is where KC apparently spent the evening of June 30 to the morning of July 1. She had been exchanging a very large number of texts with him prior to her cell phone pinging in that area for a number of hours into the morning.

Avalon Park is where KC said Jeff H. lived for a while, and it is where KC would supposedly drop Caylee off when ZFG first started watching Caylee - from April to late 2006.

Little bit 'a truth to bulk up the lies.

I thought it was interesting, telling, when Casey tells her parents, during a jail visit, that she doesn't want to talk to cops if they are going to tell her she's lying. If you believe LP, he stated, when he made it clear to her he didn't believe her story, that she told him to get out of her house...like it's actually her house, I know. Anyway, this tells me that she's not only a huge liar, but has enough nerve to insist noone call her on these lies. It's as if she's saying...I'm going to lie to you and don't you dare call me on it, I order you to listen to and believe these lies I'm about to tell you ! It's just SO unbelievable !
