I am in the very tiny minority that does not believe the trunk carpet was cleaned or steam cleaned (aside from the washing of the pants, wiping of the doll's face, spraying of Febreeze, removing collapsible bin/knife admitted to by Cindy).
The paper towels had grave wax but there was no grave wax found on the trunk carpet or liner. Conversely, there was butyric acid on the trunk liner and none found on the paper towels. There were also no trunk fibers found on the paper towels.
Chloroform was the only chemical found on the trunk liner. No cleaning chemicals were found on the trunk liner and no decomp fluid or hair with decomposition were found on any of the vacuums or wet vacs in the Anthony home. Moreover, dirt was found on the trunk carpet. I believe the dirt was left there when Casey borrowed the shovel and tried to bury Caylee in the back yard but failed. An indentation was found in the dirt by the pool where someone had tried to dig. When she changed her mind about burial in the backyard the dirt was transferred to the trunk and remained there till processed by LE.
Yuri mentions the dirt in the bond hearing.

The dirt is also listed in the discovery:

IMO There is no evidence that the trunk was cleaned aside from what Cindy admitted to.
