Casey's Parents May Eventually Face Charges

I am of the opinion that the Anthony family is using their grandchild's death to reap profit. Whether that profit is being used for their daughter's defense and/or for their own comfort and enjoyment, I don't care... it is despicable. Taking thinly veiled "licensing fees" and most likely plane fare, luxury hotels and expensive meals all on the basis of being a murdered child's grandparents is sick. Just sick. That is my opinion and I have no shame in it.

Would any of you do that?

Would the plane ride be exciting? Would the hotel bed feel soft? Would the gourmet food be tasty?

You want to call it spewing hate. Go ahead. Would you think it fair if I called people who still feel pity for them, naive and gullible?

Leave people to their own opinion.

And if these two have obstructed justice I hope they are charged. That would be just desserts and not the kind you get from the Ritz Carlton.

I for one am so tired of people accusing those of us who are of the opinion that george and cindy are involved in this of spewing hate. You see it one way and we see it another. I guess I could point out the hate spewed about the people that supposedly hate the a's....... As far as it being Christmas and the peace and goodwill....that is a street of many directions.

As far as sources go, who needs them. We have hours upon hours of george and cindy telling one story and then another.

I am afraid I would have to agree with you. The circus this has become is partly due to the way Casey's family has dealt with the possible fact that she murdered her child. If they chose to believe her lies they are perfectly within their rights to do so but they can not expect the rest of the public to. They have wanted the public to search for their grandchild when there is absolutely no proof a kidnapper exists. If they have "inside information" and chose to keep it "inside" so be it. You can't expect people to be treasure hunters without a map.

You know, this is ridiculous. We have a pack of people from the grandparents to the attorneys, to the "experts" like Lee all feasting on the bones of a dead child and people want to attack those of us who have our eyes open to this flea circus.

so very very true...I also find it sad that we can actually base how this God awful news is received by the actions of others who have gone thru this and appeared very very honorable...past behaviors are just so out there in la-la land...

as for the circus comment...I totally agree as well...and we know the ring leader is ca---she is the cause and effect of anything media for and yet she wants to blame them....anyone told to stay inside while others are protesting outside then goes---everything she did then was for the media attention...it wasn't pretty---however, we learned that kc could actually call 911 & deemed it necessary to point out to LE that they should arrest the protesters...don't even get me started regarding the lies...

I do understand that all grieve differently--at the loss of my parents I grieved differently than my dh...but we didn't go out to some fancy resturant to eat...food last on our idea of what to do....I just don't get them and never well....I'm just glad that I can tell my kids "don't lie" and then cover them up....think I would have been better with it if they would have taken that approach instead of sprewing hatred for all who didn't believe...(i.e., throw under the bus)---that could also be why no one is really there for them---they saw the light and look what happened...they were thrown away put under the bus....

$100 per person dinner last night for Cindy and George? That's the strangest way of "grieving" I've ever seen.

Yep...it is entirely inconsistent with grief, IMO. When I've lost family in the past, I lost soooo much weight and was not eating in a restaurant the day I found out. I basically had to force feed myself and relied on people bringing me food. More and more I wonder how involved they are in Caylee's murder. To me they seem exactly like their daughter Casey. Liars with no conscience.

Sources close to the case told Eyewitness News that Casey's parents, George and Cindy, may someday face criminal charges. Sources tipped Eyewitness News off that George and Cindy Anthony checked into the luxury Ritz-Carlton Hotel on Thursday night.

Meanwhile, Eyewitness News has learned the sheriff's office is looking into charging the Anthonys with obstruction of justice.

Rooms go for about $300 a night at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel and sources say they Anthonys had dinner at Normans on Thursday night, where dinner could cost $100 a person. The Anthonys recently hired attorney Brad Conway to replace Mark NeJame.

If they were not guilty of something, they would not need an attorney ... just MHO.

Not to mention that Geraldo was in town - and maybe he is also staying at the Ritz. I have a gut feeling Geraldo is behind the book/movie deal. Isn't it strange how Geraldo and Baez are so buddy-buddy? I have always thought Geraldo was the one who sent LP to bail out Casey the first time.

In addition to the "obstruction" charges, can they arrest C&G for the scam they were running on taking donations from people? Is anyone tracking the paypal account Lee had at one time? This account was for donations received to "help find Caylee". Isn't it funny, also, that Kidfinders pulled out of Orlando as soon as the remains were found??? I ask this because I believe that C&G knew very early on (and was part of the cleaning of car, etc) that Caylee was dead. I believe they even knew where she was buried. But, they were willing to stand on a corner and take donations, day after day.

Also, does anyone know if there was another indictment at the Grand Jury hearing back in October? It was rumored that there was a sealed one. Does anyone know or remember this?

I hope there are more arrests. I hope these arrests come SOON.

Blood money is out there---doesn't need gossip or rumor to back it up--look at the past...there is money out there for this case waiting....just review the past cases...you don't go from fretting over a mortgage payment to just sitting fine and dandy---money is coming in --- from WHERE?

I so agree with you...can charges be filed both feds & OCSD??? they messed with both.. pondered this last night-think perhaps they are waiting to see how much they now need the parents for this....I am so tired of the media saying how awful this must be for them--no it really hasn't --- mtg pymt made pretty good...they knew what they were doing day 31--- shame on them for forgetting Caylee and choosing kc...Don't they have it on tape several times that "lies aren't illegal"---that should say alot there...

Isn't it odd that GR met with JB and all of a sudden massive scum appear as defense????? think he had some contacts he called in....at this point it is like a super ball game forgetting Caylee but out to prove justice --- that to me is shameful. (yes I get it but still feel it is shameful--have seen to many get away with murder all in the name of justice...) I know I won't be buying any book that supports kc....it is shameful if that is what they are banking their payment on...they are no better than the a's....I also think GR is trying to obtain a "get" with interviewing the grandparents...(I have lost lots of respect for him as is...just from past things--he gained a few points in the OJ trial but lost with others...)

What "good" can come from "sources" saying what they do? Read this thread, it did exactly what was intened. Create more hate for the family and no one seems to care if "soruces" are right or not, they just accept it as fact and are ready to lynch the grandparents. THAT is so sad IMO and all I can say is they better pray they never find themselves in the position the Anthony's are in.

The Christmas season is coming (peace and goodwill) and I have never seen so much hate spewed about strangers in my life. So very sad that so many can carry so much hate in their hearts.

I feel for them, I really do. And I can't help but wonder... if any one of us were suddenly put into this situation, without warning, what would we do? How would we act? It's so easy to SAY you would do everything perfect... but a helluva lot harder to actually DO it!!

its all the enabling and LIES and "mis truths"---also need to remember the interviews--and FEDS....don't lie to them....they don't take it nicely...I think LE know from day 31 what was up---then you get CA darn near bragging about what she did with items..you know the feds want something, you give them something of lesser interest--then give the real item to defense--and think "oh well"---they have her attitude in writing (e-mail) along with on tape....that is just one instance..they have been baiting and obstructing LE all along...

Sleuthers-- I agree with everything you guys are saying. When you look at Cindy and George and the way they have behaved throughout this tragedy, you can see how Casey was created. They are all SICK, SICK, SICK. Nothing for them is about reality-- it is all about appearances and lies. I can't imagine how Cindy could write a book about finding missing children-- she is delusional and so are her husband and children. They should be charged with obstruction of justice because (IMO) they knew exactly what their daughter had done and tried to cover it up for appearances sake.

People like them-- it is not about revealing truth... it is about covering up truth so the world does not know how sick and evil theyreally are.

Bless little Caylee-- she is in a better place now, away from her sick mother, uncle and grandparents.

I don't hate the Anthonys. I am sorry for their tragic loss and hope they are eventually able to find peace.

I don't know how I would act in their situation and I pray to God I never have to find out. It makes me angry though, when I think about how CA and GA didn't want to give TM an article of Caylee's clothing and how they refused to participate in any searches.

I do hope they are surrounded by loving friends and family who will help them get through the difficult weeks and months ahead. Their family will never be the same again.

Actually LE most likely had a couple empty cells the A's could have used free of charge. Ultimate security would have also been provided for them there.

most definitely! it's not really helping anything going along with the "circus" if your not willing to keep an open mind don't listen to the media...that's who they target! It's all about getting a bigger and badder story for them, its how they make a living...just saying with all respect
