In light of this new revelation I think we should tone down the snide. There will be those who believe this new lie, I mean 'excuse', and we wouldn't want them to feel like ________s for believing it. Would we?

The old carrot on a stick???? What will the next interview bring?

The sad part is, I haven't seen anyone believe this excuse yet. Even those who sympathize with the A's don't seem to be buying it totally from what I've seen. I haven't seen anyone come out and say that this could be true. We can't agree about the verdict, but we all seem to agree that this seizure theory is just another one of Cindy's excuses, and a bad one at that. I haven't seen anyone upset about how this is talked about, but certainly none of us want to make anyone feel bad either.

Let's face it even KC recognizes her mother for what she is doing. jmo

George, in scheme of things, hasn't really said that much. He hasn't come out and said anything on his own, it's always been with CA taking the lead, saying what she thinks ought to be said. It's like he's only there as 'support' and backup. I think if the A's ever went separate ways, that GA would have some very interesting things to say about what happened to Caylee.

No kidding. She picked a bad, bad, BAD lie to go with. So many people have either had seizures or know someone who does - Cindy is WAY out of her league on this one, as this lie has been disproven so fast it's ridiculous. Even the head of the Central Florida Epilespy Association has now shot it down! I bet there is going to be much egg on her face after this show airs if there's not a lot there already. She looks like a total fool now, and I bet after the show airs, their foundation is history.

Just askin now - Are we sure that Cindy is actually saying this or is this just something that is going around? Maybe it is not true. But I have a feelin it is.

I'm getting a headache just thinking about it the enormous lies this woman keeps telling. She is sociopathic - I always thought that - she cannot admit that this was a killing because if she does, she knows, KNOWS, she did not protect Caylee and she should have.

How do you live with yourself knowing that she could have saved Caylee and did not - you LIE. Look, she knew she was not working, so how does Cindy leave every morning knowing KC is not going to work and she has Caylee with her - what is she doing with Caylee? Also, it did not come out at trial, which I thought was wrong on the part of the prosecution, but Morales said KC and Caylee stayed with him five nights a week starting around February and this lasted through April. Cindy knew that this was going on and adamently denied that Caylee slept away from the house more than twice a month - at most - they both said this. At least I think this was not brought out at trial. And while I am on Morales, he was basically "dead" on that stand. Never saw a witness like him. Jeez.

Ugh

I know! Where the heck has he been? I can't believe there wasn't a response from him by now, or even when that article about the seizure was first published. That is so not like Lippman. Maybe he has finally had a Mark Nejames moment. It is just freaking odd that we haven't heard from him yet.

Last we heard the three of them were heading for Texas....and that's over a month ago - maybe CA and GA ditched him there and he's walking home?
Just kidding - but it's been 4 or 5 weeks since we've heard anything at all from him. Maybe he got paid finally for all his work and that's it - it's over and they are on their own now?

That's a good point, LG. Maybe he said he'd help them find an interview, and once he got payment, he was done with them? I'm betting part of that donation is going or has gone towards him. He's been awfully quiet for a long time. Things to think about. Maybe he just couldn't go along with the seizure excuse. Maybe that made him see that these people are hopeless and he couldn't go on representing them.

Well, as far as I know, it hasn't come straight from her mouth yet as the interview has not aired yet, but Geraldo posted an article about it with Casey's response. I don't think he's smart enough to pull that out of thin air. I do wonder why he, or Casey, or her DT got to see this interview before everyone else did, though. I do wonder just how he knows what Cindy said?

That's one statement that makes me know just how ridiculous this whole business is.
Casey just wants her mom to be her mom? Since when? The mother she hasn't allowed to visit her for three years? The mother she refused to acknowledge in the courtroom? Oh sure! FCA just wants her mom to be her mom - uh huh....

Sometimes Mr. Baez - you really slip off the deep end with your media statements. Sometimes? What am I saying? Darned full moon!

Of course, in my opinion, it's not true.
I didn't realize I was being quoted as I was editing my sarcasm. You guys are quick (and my computer's slow).
Although, I was glad to catch myself on namecalling, and did use the blank from the start. I wasn't trying to make those who believe feel bad either, I just don't understand how any logic is used by people who believe this ___.

I'm trying count how many times my brain has tripped over my tongue since I've come here.

This came from a "previously reliable source " that apparently was on the set when the interview took place. Mark Lippman or Jim Lichtenstein perhaps?:waitasec:
From Geraldo's facebook-
snip
According to the source, on the Dr. Phil show Cindy points to the seizures as evidence Casey had "a mental health condition" that may have incapacitated Casey while her child Caylee was allegedly drowning "in the swimming pool incident," and further suggests that the seizures may be symptomatic of a condition that at times makes it difficult "to sort fact from fiction," or as the source says, "maybe it is why she can't tell the truth."

Regarding Geraldo's facebook stating the medical condition left her unable to sort fact from fiction:

Looks like the jury suffered from the same condition as the felon, because they weren't able to sort fact from fiction either.

Wouldn't it just be evil if Casey totally made this up and her mother never said it? (Although I can believe Cindy said it, I wouldn't put it past Casey to lie about it either). I won't be surprised if it's edited out of the Dr. Phil interview, followed by Cindy denying she ever said it.

I think Lippman may still be around. He has made a fortune off of them. Either that or they didn't pay him what they promised. The parents have a history regarding shying away from bill paying. Many others came before Lippman. When you think about it, a logical person would wonder why it is necessary for innocent grandparents to need a personal attorney.

.........The answer is obvious to us.

If Casey totally made what up? The seizures?

I am sure on one thing, the felon will not approve of herself being regarded as having a mental health condition. It is comforting to know that the felon is most likely having a fit to be tied about now. With the parents getting a big brand new Jeep and a massive amount of money, CFCA will be fuming mad.

Knowing Baez, he probably tried to stop the explosion by having her see the tape early. Perhaps he is also in touch with Dr. Phil for a huge pay-off, maybe dangling the felon as a carrot.

:rocker: :rocker: Great points, Whisperer ... and may I add that attorney Lippman practices "criminal law" ...

MOO ...

If she made up that her mother said she was having seizures. I can see her doing this in retaliation for her mother and father going on Dr. Phil and getting a huge donation. Or maybe she just got to see the tape of the interview early for some unknown reason.

OMG! :banghead:

On second thought, that is exactly what they need...since they exhibit criminal behavior with their money making schemes and the pension for lies.
