Okay, I'll bite..."could" is not a statement of fact, does not mean it did happen, only that it could have happened. Jury missed that one, went way over their heads.

Gee, if KC was having seizures GA "could" have been taking an awful chance there. Just an example. jmo
Thank you for that visual!

how many 13 yr olds go to school and play with other kids? he constantly tried to make her "seem" younger in every scenario than was stated or pictured.

I don't know about then but I can tell you now that 13 year old could be standing on the playground and texting the person next to them. My granddaughter thinks it's a lifeline. lol

Just a note - in the news thread in the stickies above, a FL Epilepsy advocacy and awareness spokesman does comment on the nonsensical nature of the claim.

I am very glad someone with authoritative information weighed in...

(he says bull-oney)

Why the he77 is Cindy laughing? I just watched and when Dr P mentions Zanny thre Nanny Cindy begins grinning and looks like she's about to bust a gut laughing when the camera pans away from her face. She is one <unusual> hot mess.

Like we used to say.....SOS...Same Old S___.

I think CA uses the word seizure instead of violent temper for her daughter's colossal rage.

The entire team did this...hugging her. Prompting her to lower the chair. They all had papers and would pass them to her that would tell her what to do. You are correct. Baez did this up till the end, trying to bring in her grade school PIC with her imaginary friends.

His opening statement started with her as a child and he ended it with her as a child. He had many people advising him. What a shame that so many wanted to see her walk!

...pro bono...my a#$4.
How true. Problem is, the jury bought it.
I've always said she has the mind and mindsets of a 14yo. Wonder if that's the way her own DT sees her - and treats her?

Immaturity of this felon was an understatement which makes me even angrier that the parents let her have full access to Caylee all day.

I think CA thought that the felon would bond with her daughter. CA even went as far as tucking them in bed together (yes, sick). So, in a great sense, CA nurtured the immaturity of the felon....she knows it too.

:crazy:

I must have missed that! Not to get OT, but what's wrong with Lee (well, besides the obvious)

cmaaaaaaa....

:crazy:

Mel

IIRC, LA was going through a bad period of depression as a young teenager. CA blamed it on the Acne Meds. I don't know how far she took this legally, but she gave a lengthy diatribe on the subject.

Many narcissists are extremely immature. In the felon's case, she never developed a healthy ego. Her mother also blames any ugly behavior on other causes other than the obvious. CA just kept covering up for her and can't let it go. This is do to the controlling nature of CA. Controlling natures stem from anxiety disorders. The felon is also a control freak. The mixture causes a whole lot of disturbance in the house (of major proportions).

I am guessing the household is very happy with her gone...though they won't say that publicly but I bet they close the door and do a happy dance each day.

Yes, there'd certainly be a degree of relief at that peace in that household.
Even the 'tucking in', as you mentioned earlier, is a sure sign of the control factor. Casey was treated like a child in order to keep her a child. The pregnancy may well have brought on the realization that she wasn't one any longer and the very person who had treated her as a child for so long now suddenly expected her to snap out of it and 'act like an adult'. Sorry, too late ... wow, the confusion that might have created in the mind of an already budding felon.

Oh, how I hope that Jesse G. comes forward with a book or at least interviews giving his version of these seizures and that family. He witnessed the one back in, I guess, 2005 and took her to the ER. It's funny how there was only the one reported by the fiancee who was so cruelly lied to then dumped and then another seizure or so some years later while incarcerated. No one else has ever come forward reporting her having seizures. Anyone could fake a seizure if they'd seen one or wanted sympathy/attention. I criticized Jesse and his dad for talking about the family before the trial, but they were so right about Cindy. LOL, as usual Cindy is trying to help in her way, but also being very destructive. Maybe the DOMV and probation controllers will now take away Casey's driver license since she herself has admitted to these seizures while locked up.

no sound on my computer, so would someone post a short synopsis of what they said to Dr. P. - Thank you

here you go, if you didn't figure most of it out already. i paraphrased Dr.Phil's parts but the others are verbatim.

DP: you would think casey would be heartbroken, not out getting a bella vita tattoo, not entering a "hard" body (:giggle:) contest, what do you make of that?

CA: well, talking to her friends..one of the girls that was supposed to be up there dancing did not show up so they asked Casey to fill in and reluctantly she did. this was not brought up at trial: Casey's mood was kind of subdued when she first got there. and i'm not making excuses for her but..

DP: oh i think you are.

~~~~
DP: when you heard the defense say George was involved in events that took place after the death, did it ever occur to you that since he has hidden things before, could he have done it again?
CA: no, not when it came to his family as far as Casey and Caylee..George would never have put us through those six months of not knowing where Caylee was if he knew where Caylee was. because i watched his heart break every single day. and i watched him, as frantic as he was.
~~~~
(whew. this one is wordy.)

DP: you went from seeing this child daily to having no contact for 31 days. you say, okay i believe you she is asleep or with zanny the nanny. you know casey lies. you've never met the nanny. you don't know who the father is. you never met her boyfriend. you don't know her friends, you didn't verify her employment. her car has been impounded. it smells like a dead body. and then you ferbreze the trunk and go to work. in looking back, does it seem like you missed huge signals that something was wrong?

this cuts off before a response.

~~~~
DP: what do you believe the smell was from?
CA: truthfully, to this day i don't know. to be honest.
GA: do i want to believe that caylee was back there? i don't want to believe it but i mean i'm going by what investigators have told me. all i know is that caylee isn't with us anymore. i know that.. i know that.
DP: do you believe she was in that trunk?
cuts off here
I can see it now. JB arguing that Casey can not do any civil suit depositions because of "maybe" getting a seizure.
I would like to think that Dr. P *****-slapped CA back to reality. But I'm not holding my breath.
