Did any of you notice George's gulp when Cindy said something like, "we've been going through this for 3 years and this is the first time I have heard him (meaning George) say that"? It was a swallow of pure fear.

I don't suppose you know what GA said? One of those keep you hanging clips, I'm sure.

..now that we know dr.phil spoke with them for over 9 hours over the course of 2 days-----which was then edited down to 2 one hour 'exclusives', i expect the same old same old from cindy and george.

..it's possible he may ask "new" questions, but we're going to hear the usual beat around the bush old answers------i'm certain cindy will resort to "crying" if she wants the topic changed.

..maybe----if this had been taped LIVE and in front of a studio audience we might have got something new if either of them 'slipped up', as it is, i have zero plans to waste any time watching it.

BBM
I'm afraid if it had been taped live it would have looked more like a dodge ball competition...eggs flyin..GA hidin behind CA as usual:truce:

CA yelling at ML..."Get me my hammer, get me my hammer."

Yep, exactly. And, you know what? It could have been his reaction to something totally different than the moment Cindy said that. When they do these clips, they do that - take things out of order to get the suspense going. Then when you watch it, it doesn't even necessarily turn out that way.

No doubt that Cindy admonished George prior to the interview to "let (her) do most of the talking" because it's obvious that Cindy doesn't respect her husband or hold him in high esteem. He's been beaten down so many times that he usually tucks his tail between his legs and leaves. George seems to know that it's best for him to be seen and not heard because Cindy has always treated him like a child. jmo

Extremely annoying when they do that.
In this case ironic - lying about lying.

I have been thinking about why G has not or would not just say to Cindy-look I am sick of this chit..I don't want to live like this anymore ..Caylee is gone..we can't do anything about it,our daughter killed her.We got her off,she is free, let it go!!! if you want to continue to go on shows and give excuses-that we know the public is never going to believe about why KC did what she did....go yourself!! I just can't do it anymore!!
I guess what I am trying to say--When will G say enough is enough-B/C G knew way back when that KC killed Caylee- don't you all think that a times comes in a lot of people 's lives when someone says enough is enough?Just a thought!

You said it very well. Enough already! But, Cindy is a person who absolutely has to be right and win at all costs. Cindy wants the public to believe that she can reconcile the death of her granddaughter and the fact that her daughter likely murdered her with absurd excuses that justify or satisfy her beliefs. Sadly, Cindy is still in serious denial about Casey having murdered Caylee and is searching for a rational explanation for the tragedy that is embarrassing and frustrating for Cindy whose world must be perfect. jmo

I don't know about perfect but I do think she is still trying to win her daughter back....

BBM - Exactly - that's what George does, he answers a tough question with the gulping head down "All I know is Caylee isn't with us anymore" and hopes the public's response to that is ohhhh the poor old man, he can't bring himself to speak. blah.

..i don't think that cindy is in denial what-so-ever..

..the (rational) explanation she's going for is not for herself----but to put out there for the public in the hopes that we'll actually believe it.

..her thought process centers around----what benefits cindy? and what benefits kc? and she will happily sit there and spew this nonsense--laughing or crying as needed-----to sell the latest spin.

..cindy&george's parents must be oh so proud of them.

WOW!!!!! OK so I watched the clip of the Dr. Phil show, I was very happy to hear Dr. Phil ask the one question I’ve been waiting over three years for someone to ask CA. Of course it was hidden among many other questions.
CA can come up with a million excuses for FCA but she will never be able to excuse the fact that she, Caylee’s ONLY Grandma failed Caylee!!!! How could CA have Caylee come home from the hospital to her home, live in that same home for over two years, see Caylee everyday for OVER TWO YEARS and then she doesn’t see Caylee for 31 days and she (CA) did NOTHING!!!!!! Regardless of why FCA did or didn’t do what she did or didn‘t do, I believe CA needs to stop putting the focus on FCA and start telling why SHE didn’t protect Caylee. I believe CA needs to start talking about her involvement in what happened to Caylee. I believe CA needs to tell how she could let her only grandchild lay in the swamp for 6 months. I believe CA knows so much more about what happened to Caylee, I believe CA keeps the focus on FCA in hopes of keeping the focus off of her. I believe CA is not seen as the poor innocent grieving grandma by everyone. I believe some of us see CA for what she truly was and still is. I believe FCA is responsible for what happened to Caylee. I believe I will not be watching this show because I believe the A’s will not be honest, it’s just not who they are.

I hope Dr. Phil ask CA which Grandparent rights were not given to her????????

I've commented before on my opinion about GA. I have known men like GA who are unhappy in their marriage but won't leave because of financial reasons. GA's past, at least what we know of it, it seems work and GA are strangers. He has fallen for internet scams and had a gambling problem. If we can believe River it seemed he played on her sympathy to get money out of her. I read this in rivers interview..part #1 of the felons jailhouse letters. The auto business he had in Ohio failed. IMO...When GA looks at CA I believe all he sees is dollar signs. He wouldn't leave until the well dries up if then. I'm sure he did love Caylee with all his heart but not enough to grow a pair and tell the truth. I'm sure there's some of us here that knows what it's like to be beaten down by a spouse but at some point you have to decide to stand up and be counted. If the death of his grandaughter didn't bring him to this realization, I doubt very much anything will.

I wish Dr. Phil would ask CA what her answer would be if she were not being honest. I've always wondered about people who have the words "to be honest" as part of the answer to a question they're being asked.

I remember seeing a survey once which discovered that eighty percent of statements beginning with "to be honest" are actually untrue

I don't know about perfect but I do think she is still trying to win her daughter back....

Very early on in this case, it always seemed to me that Cindy Anthony was all about appearances and how she and her family looked to others. Cindy wanted (and still wants) everyone to believe that the Anthony family was beyond reproach and had no problems. As the case progressed, the public learned otherwise, but Cindy insisted that the family was "perfect" and attempted to justify any discrepancies that were reported in the media despite how ridiculous she sounded, i.e. that the foul odor in the trunk of the car was from old pizza and not a decomposing body.

Cindy Anthony suffers from arrested emotional development and is stuck in the mindset of a 5th grader who cares very much about what others think about her/him. Sadly, despite what she and her family have endured, Cindy still cares too much about what others think about her and her family and will do whatever it takes to improve hers and her family's image. jmo

But her actions and words turn the public off. If Cindy truly cared what everyone thought of her and her family, she would remain silent. I think Cindy does't give a darn what anyone thinks about her, its what she thinks of herself that is important to her. She likes what she sees when she looks in the mirror.

It is my opinion that George would lose his home, remaining family, and any equity he has in the union if he were to say what he really believes. I also feel that he does love Cindy, (only God knows why) and feels protective toward her. Maybe it is guilt because he has made some bad decisions in the marriage. It is hard to judge when one has not lived the day to day existance that they have.

I do feel he really loved Caylee and has suffered terribly her loss. He may have been convinced by JB that the only hope of saving KC from the death penalty was to let them propose a possible scenario in which he was abusing her, and which he could then deny.

This is, of course, all the ramblings of my fertile imagination, as we have no way of knowing for sure. I do believe the parents should now shut up and try to live a quiet life as best they can. No high profile foundations, interviews, and publishings. May they be blessed with everything they deserve in this life and the next.

JMO
