I have gnawed on this all day.....

What are the guidelines in Florida?

The guidelines state that, applicants and licensed drivers should be seizure free for a period of two years before being approved for licensing. If a person is under regular medical supervision, it is possible to apply for a review by the Medical Review Board after being seizure-free for six months. These guidelines apply for all types of seizures. The isolated seizure with a normal encephalogram may be reviewed at the end of three months. The Division of Driver Licenses can answer questions about specific situations and how they relate to obtaining a driver's license
http://www.doh.state.fl.us/family/epilepsy/driving.html

So the A's just blatantly disregarded the laws of Florida...Big Suprise huh?

I can see CA saying " Casey was an adult at that time. So it was between her and the State of Florida whether she could drive or not. It was not my problem."

Ugh, it figures that the Dr Phil show would decide to make show with George and Cindy a 2 parter.

I also read the Fox 35 WOFL article http://www.myfoxorlando.com/dpp/news/anthony_case/090711-casey-anthony-prone-to-seizures

and looked at Hal Boedeker's Orlando Sentinel TV Guy blog http://blogs.orlandosentinel.com/en...chor-sounds-incredulous-at-seizure-story.html

and my opinion is that the "leaks" are to hype and sell the show. It figures that it would be Cindy doing all the spinning about Casey having a seizure when Caylee drowned in their pool. I'm not buying any of it. Total BS and more lies by a mom who wants to protect her convicted felon daughter.

I also looked at a TV Guide article which interviews Dr Phil about him interviewing Cindy and George

http://www.tvguide.com/News/Dr-Phil-Casey-Anthony-Parents-1037054.aspx

If he did interview them for 9.5 hours over 2 days, then the show that will air will be heavily edited. I suspect that it's the Dr Phil show itself that is "leaking" info to hype his show..it's all about ratings on Monday and Tuesday.

I think only Horace could come up with so grand a story. Don't you remember when he crapped on the floor right in front of Cindy and she felt the need to put it in her letter to KC? That Horace is a renegade. Don't put anything past him...
BBM
Bet he did it again when he heard the "seizure theory" being rehearsed at home before G&C got on that plane!! :floorlaugh:
Crazy_Cat.jpg

Nooooo! If you say that on TV I poop on your floor again!!

Two words: Geraldo Rivera

Ever the opportunist, long past his expatriation date.

The whole thing smacks of massive collusion

BBM: :floorlaugh::floorlaugh: You got that right ! Love the "saying" ...

In my opinion two 1 hour shows with George and Cindy seems a bit long. But that's just my opinion.
The question about the leak of the seizure story is twofold. Will using the story of seizures draw in viewers to the show, or repel them? From reading posts here today by people with loved ones who suffer from seizures, its apparent they don't like seizures being used as an excuse for bad behavior. Why is that? Probably because they have never seen it happen. So it upsets them. As it should. So, will sending out such a message draw in viewers to the Dr. Phil show or repel them? I think the later. MOO.

Yep, I agree with you. A planned "leak" for PR.
The Anthonys will do anything to make their evil daughter more acceptable to the public, so she can go on her own paid interviews and the rest of the gang does not have to share in their spoils.. I could say rots of ruck with that but then I was also laughing hysterically with Baez opening statement, assuming that no sane person would buy it.
And I also wonder if the seizure angle strategy will be used in some form during the appeal on the lying convictions.
The whole Anthony gang farce reminds me of a yet unfinished Grimm's fairy tale and a lot of those did not have good endings. The evil ones always met a horrible end. Used to have nightmares about them when I was a kid.

Sorry but I am feeling a little dense here, I don't see who this benefits by GR leaking it? the felon herself?
I don't think this leak helped the Dr. Phil show at all, so was this so the felon could get the little dig at the end of the Fox report that she just wants her mom to be a mom?

These people all have me so confused.... :banghead::banghead:

If GR released the information about the A's "seizure theory", FCA and her team (JB and GR) are ticked off about the interview and the A's making $$$.

If the Dr. Phil show leaked the info..the show is just plain dumb, as it makes the A's, Dr. Phil etc..look like dumb and dumber.

Since it's a "Fox Report", I would "assume", FCA and her little team are ticked off about the A's getting attention, first story, first payday, first appearance out there.

KWIM? Either which way...:banghead::banghead: All liars! Games! This was not a game!

Yes. It was a world record 31 day seizure. Guinness World Records is on it as we speak.

Isn't texting and driving whilst seized a misdemeanor?

Adults who suddenly start to have seizures are suspect. They either have a new brain abnormality or it is pseudoseizures, etc. MOO is that any so called seizure FCA had in jail was a good acting job.

BBM- I think it must have been Tinker's idea and Tilly is just going along for the ride....:slap:

I thought I remember reading that Tinker and Tilly have gone to rainbow bridge. Please someone tell me I am mistaken. :(

Sorry, if this has been covered, but insulin-dependent diabetes can cause seizures. However, I don't see FKC faking that since she'd either have to stick herself with needles or wear an oh-so-attractive insulin pump AND monitor her diet AND probably give up alcohol.

Also, I accidentally "faked a seizure" once. I was in a college class and I didn't feel well, so I was sitting with my arms folded against my body and was bent over a little. I fainted, still don't know why. But, those who saw it said my arms flew outward and even my professor thought it was a seizure at first. I woke up on the floor with my professor holding me upright, so I was out for at least a few seconds. He had medical training. I think it would be pretty easy to make yourself pass out and you could probably fool a layperson into thinking it was a seizure.

That was the first time I'd fainted and my doctor ordered a glucose tolerance test. The next time I fainted I was standing up and I hit the floor. Again, I was only "out" for a few seconds, but my doctor ordered an EEG (?) to make sure I wasn't having seizures.

I've seen this too. In college one of my classmates fainted and it appeared he was having a seizure...jerking, but not violently. When he came too, he was fine. No post-ictal drowsiness or anything.

My dog had seizures and they were very violent. I had to drag him off the concrete so he wouldn't bash his head in. When my ex was moving him, he accidently got too close to my dog's mouth and was bitten...quite badly. My dog would loose his bowel and bladder and sometimes vomit. I would literlly have to hose him off afterwards... but it would be a good 45 minutes before he even recognized me. He would just cower in fear. It broke my heart to see him so scared and not even know me...he was the sweetest dog. After the seizures he would sleep for the rest of the day.

I work in an ER and see plenty of seizures. Would be very hard to fake one, I think.

Well, it's kind of a repel for me. I was going to watch it. Probably still will since i do watch DP quite a bit. But now that I think seizures is going to be the excuse, all I can think is....boring. We've been over this. I'm pretty sure I read somewhere in the thousands of pages, that KC was found to have no medical conditions. Or mental illnessses either.

.."leaks" are always planned----by someone.

..in this instance----the dr.phil show is getting the seizure thing out there so we have plenty of time to have our meltdowns pre--------showtime!

..and-----they always want something seriously controversial to get victims to watch their show---1st they threw out the "sneak peek" with dr.phil speaking only-----now, they know they'll get a 'few more' to tune in and witness the "seizure" story...

..the week is only at slightly mid-point------i'm sure we'll get another bombshell teaser before airtime monday...

( and i still will not watch------and i still will most definitely not donate to the parents-of-the-seizure-victim-who-murdered-her-child-and-now-the-grandparents-want-our-money-for-their-foundation-to-*--help-other-grandparents!)

*SIGH*

why would they go on Dr. Phil

*SIGH*

why would they go on Dr. Phil

There is an easy answer for that one.
First: for the money.
Second: for the money
Third: for the money ; .

*SIGH*

why would they go on Dr. Phil

..b/c the dr.phil show is giving a large 'donation to their foundation' ( from which they draw salaries..) if they would appear..

..and no-one else was willing to pay ( what they thought they were "worth" ) to have them.

Or rather , Dr. Phil was the highest bidder.
