GREAT POINT! The point of "her parents maybe" is important. I think that thinking and responsible parents of adults this age (particularly at her parents' age) would have a HUGE "maybe" under the circumstances, and maybe rather a "Can we offer you X to help you get settled somewhere which might be better for you?" (granting they thought you were innocent of anything/everything)
You are so right. Who have turned their backs on friendship/support of Terri at this point, in terms of friends? I might guess that there have been a large number and for excellent reason, people must do their best to "try and discern" a situation (for themselves, and certainly if they have children). IF my friends withdrew from me under the current situation (as if I were Terri), I would not call these "fair weather friends" -- I would call them "We really have to be wise here" friends. I love "wise" friends. I might be hurt by my friend's withdrawal from me, but I would blame myself for not having been more loving/caring to my friends and transparent to those who might have "stuck beside me." I would also understand that circumstances like this leave people lost in what to do...
I think that there may remain some of Terri's friends who would open the door to her. We have certainly seen some WSrs saying, "Oh I don't believe this 'murder for hire' thing (despite the details of the news), those who seem to continue as her supporters -- so perhaps she has friends like that (those who have had a close up relationship with her and trust in her innocence all together). And then there are perhaps gym or otherwise fellows who would love to invite a "perceived" innocent and/or tasty redhead to their lair...
Terri's world of options has slimmed down incredibly in the last month. IF she is innocent, it is a huge sadness and caused by wicked people who have gone before her and made so many things questionable. IF she is guilty, well...this is only a beginning of slimmed down options, far less friends etc.
