I bet the visit he is trying to put a gag order on shows how silly Casey's story is and the attorney doesn't want it to get out. I think he wants to doctor it up in his own way for court and if he silly version comes out no one will believe his defense when he has to use it.

Jose is just doing his job but I want to hear those tapes! I hope they are released before the gag order goes thru!

Hear, Hear!!! I'm with you!! I'm also with Baez for filing for a gag order. Those phone calls and videos with visitors should never have been made public and THAT is MY opinion.

Well, ebrich I agree with your first point being strange. I am not sure I agree that just because a man doesn't wear his ring it means a whole lot. We did discover earlier on in this case that a divorce had been filed for in the month on December 2005, but they never went through with it according to court records.

my caylee is missing
Current mood: http://x.myspace.com/images/blog/moods/iBrads/sad.gif distraught

She came into my life unexspectedly, just as she has left me. This precious little angel from above gave me strength and unconditional love. Now she is gone and I don't know why. All I am guilty of is loving her and providing her a safe home. Jealousy has taken her away. Jealousy from the one person that should be thankfull for all of the love and support given to her. A mother's love is deep, however there are limits when one is betrayed by the one she loved and trusted the most. A daughter comes to her mother for support when she is pregnant, the mother says without hesitation it will be ok. And it was. But then the lies and betrayal began. First it seemed harmless, ah, love is blind. A mother will look for the good in her child and give them a chance to change. This mother gave chance after chance for her daughter to change, but instead more lies more betrayal. What does the mother get for giving her daughter all of these chances? A broken heart. The daughter who stole money, lots of money, leaves without warning and does not let her mother now speak to the baby that her mother raised, fed, clothed, sheltered, paid her medical bills, etc. Instead tells her friends that her mother is controlling her life and she needs her space. No money, no future. Where did she go? Who is now watching out for the little angel?

Thanks, i really meant no harm and will be careful from now on. And its She
(((J-Me))) Sorry, didn't mean to upset anyone and wasn't aimed particularly at you at all! We do value your input and welcome you with open arms here!! :blowkiss:

I shouldn't have ranted like I did...I just had this bad feeling about putting out all the things we have been (not you personally). Once I noticed, it seemed to me that maybe I should mention it because of all the new posters. The old posters like me even get into the pack of going off course and dragging others in that we shouldn't. We are all caught up in this case.

Caylee is still missing and we all very much want her home. :(

What the attorney needs to do is "UN-GAG" his client so she starts talking. :waitasec:
Now this may be the best quote today!

Wouldn't the gasoline in the shed be for the lawnmower and other items? Do people still mix it with oil for those things? (I have had a lawn guy for years so I don't know.)
Mikey, my hubby, states that if casey were to have poured gas mixed with oil into her car it would affect the engine and make it break down. He also told me his guy stuff...that he doesn't mix it in the can but just adds the oil after he puts the gas in so in case he needs to use the gas on something else that doesn't require the oil he can (like the weedwacker)... just a little gas~class LOL.

If you were using gas with the oil to burn something, tho, it would have the same effect....added oil or not.. but.. if they find that some of the stain in the trunk is gas...they can test it to see if oil was added or not and confirm with grandpa...if that be the case. But seriously, at this point, I don't think any of that family wants to help this investigation in any way, shape, or form imhoo.

Also, I left the nancy grace show a comment form about what the earlier poster said....about gma diverting the tips to her own personal cell phone by putting out different phone numbers for people to call. Also left the bit about the gas burglary. Hopefully her people read the comments. We shall see.... (and of course I plugged websleuths LOL)

i saw it early when you posted this. Where did you say you got it??? I am confusesd,... a neighbor of Casey's?

I was on my am run, this landscape truck was parked in my development.
I thought it was uncanny:
The shamrock, the letter J, and the "Burns"- took it as a sign, just putting it out there for fodder if you believe in that stuff.

I actually disagree - I took my 2 year old child (26 months) to an emergency response exercise for our city where I had to pretend that my husband had died, and i was in denial and angry, etc. I told my child that we were going to be pretending - that what was going to happen wasn't real. I was taken to a behavioral health facility and went into acting mode. I kept on yelling that I knew my husband wasn't dead and that I needed to find him. After about a minute of careful watching my son wailed "I WANT MY DADDY. WHERE IS MY DADDY".

I immediately stopped what i was doing anxious that I had frightened my child, said excuse me to the exercise participants who were trying to help me, and said "Ben, you know that mommy is pretending right? Daddy is fine, he's just at work and this is just a game we are playing."

My son gave me a big smile. He said ""I know mommy. I'm pretending too....I WANT MY DADDY" and off he went into the performance of a lifetime. The people around me were shocked and amazed (as was I) and I received many comments of how they would be looking for him at the golden globes when he was older.

So while most 3 year olds might not LIE, I think that if Mommy and Caylee talked about Zanny like a person, and were pretending she was real, Caylee might well speak of Zanny like she was real. Mommy suggests an imaginary person called Zanny (perhaps even as a euphamism for Xanax) and Caylee goes along with it. Kids are imaginative, so while they probably dont' "lie" at this age, the power of suggestion and imagination could certainly make Caylee talk about a person who doesnt' exist.

That was what I was trying to say all along and you said it better than I could! I think that she was hanging out with people that her parents wouldn't approve of (hence what George said about her hanging with a bad crowd and Lee saying she had a tough year), and she came up with the imaginary Zanny when she went out with these people.

Ok, back to the case. I think the attorney and LE are playing games with each other. Now we have the report of the shed being broken into and two gas cans stolen at the exact same time that we find out about the gag order.
Interesting timing.

I absolutely agree! As I read the threads this morning to catch up, I noted that this case seems to be just going in circles and so much conflicting data regarding time lines, etc.

I think LE has a lot of the answers. Certainly they know by now the results of the forensic examination of the 1998 Pontiac Firebird. They could and probably should call a press conference, which is what I thought they were going to do today, and release the results of the forensics on the car. If the lab results indicated that Caylee is deceased, this ends Cindy's investigation of sightings of Caylee.

It then moves the investigation out of the Anthony's hands and back to LE's where the investigation should be. LE can put pressure on Casey to reveal what happened. A plea bargain to drop the death penalty for information on where the body is.

The hits by two separate cadaver dogs on three locations in the Anthony's backyard, and on the trunk of the car, point to a death and not an abduction.

Unless she was talking about another brother. Then again, I doubt it. OK..so where was she if he was gone? It doesn't mean it isn't true that she was there that weekend cooking for him and a friend tho...just not ON the 4th of July specifically. (She probably did that on the 5th.)

Or, as I stated above, the funds from the credit cards may have been cut off by the bank upon the GM reportind the theft of the cards and Casey maybe needed the gas to take Caylee's body out of town. When deed was completed, she parked the car, nearly out of gas at the check cashing store. I hope my opinion is wrong, but it is a theory.

BTW, does anyone know if any checks were stolen?
From GM? Amy said hers were missing from her car.

I think he just requested the gag order...hasn't been issued yet. Going to listen...

  • #277
I believe they said that the hearing for the gag order will be around 1pm tomorrow.
Okay, well can they release everything they have from now until the gag order hearing?
Tomorrow, he will have to show cause and it's up to the judge whether he will okay it or not, I believe.
Any legal eagles on here?

  • #278
I wonder if LE is trying to issue them before the gag order is possibly issued? Though, I don't know why they would do that.

Also, I dont see a link to the audio yet...

Ah ok, sorry. I was going to post the july 3rd post because others were asking when Cindy knew about the missing money. I saw your post and thought I would kill two birds with one stone. I misread, sorry.

In one of the calls, Casey Anthony tells her brother, Lee, that her gut feeling is that Caylee is alive and close to home.

I think she is close to home also, but not alive, sadly. :(
