After hearing the call from jail i truly believe Cindy and George are supporting Casey through the media to get her to open up. She attacked them for not supporting her. I also believe them focusing on Caylee and not the negatives of her arrest is their way of sending her that message. I don't think what Cindy and George are saying on TV is what they really think, it what they have determined is needed to send a different message to Casey.

I guess I don't understand why Casey is allowed to watch her case on television while in jail.

Casey Anthony, the mother of missing 2-year-old Caylee Anthony, remained jailed Friday as her attorney continued trying to get her bond lowered. Casey's attorney says, instead of her sitting jail or even under court order to stay home, he wants to be able to retrace her steps with her by his side.

"Is it safe to say you believe the babysitter story?" WFTV reporter Steve Barrett asked attorney Jose Baez.

From listening to Casey in speaking with Cindy, Lee, and Christina, I can see how difficult it is for those around Casey. She speaks very convincingly and I can see how people would take what she says as the truth, only later learning differently. In light of what we know of the situation - the decomposition odors in the backyard of the Anthony home and the 1998 Pontiac..............we know Casey isn't telling the truth.

I feel for the family.... I know they've done some strange things.. but I think they realize that if they disenfranchise Casey they will lose all hope of finding Caylee.

Casey has obviously manipulated them for years and they're doing what they can to find Caylee.... and trying to find any other reason than matricide. But, quite truthfully... nothing will make this girl crack.... her issues go beyond covering up something....

she doesn't accept reality and thinks she can twist it.

That's my opinion anyways.

I don't hear her as being convincing. Her daughter is missing, people think she is dead, Casey is annoyed.

Still, Baez wants an appeals court to intervene and allow a lower bond so the novice attorney with just three years experience can set out himself to solve the case.

I agree...the first words out of Casey's mouth when calling from jail were not anything to help find Caylee, but to slam her mother for her "little cameo." Nothing in that whole conversation was of any use to locate the baby, just a spoiled, imature brat more concerned about contacting her boyfriend than her missing child.

I picked up on that too.

And Cindy on the phone with Casey is a different Cindy than we've seen in media interviews. It's like Cindy is scared of Casey.......doesn't want to say something that will set her off.........walking on eggshells, while at the same time trying to elicit some information.

I'm editing this as I'm now reading it that calling her friends was a waste of her time becasue she obviously doesn't give a $hit about Caylee and doesn't care to talk about her. Pathetic.

"They've already said they're going to pin this on me even if they don't find Caylee"

She could care less if anyone finds Caylee, she knows she's going to prison anyway.
