I don't know if anyone found pictures of this Jesus Ortiz but Caylee sure don't look like she would come from an 'Ortiz' if you know what I mean..

I did find an article about Jesus Ortiz that was killed in a tragic car accident ~ May 2007.

I'm a bit afraid for the vigil tonight. Will anyone show up? If they do, will they be supportive or an angry mob with torches?

All I hope for is that there will be a vigil in the true sense.

The Patrick Burgeous visit...

at first, it didn't really seem strange to me.

But now there is something about his visit that bothers me that I can't put my finger on.

Question for you all:

Why would LE release the tape of him visiting Casey in jail to the media? Is this common practice? Any other cases where they did this? And why only release that visit and none of the others of people who have spoken with her in jail?

I am not sure if this has already been mentioned, I just started reading through the posts.

Couldn't the grandmother be arrested for lying to police or obstructing justice? I think a few hours in a jail cell would be enough to make that woman start talking. There is clearly something so wrong with her (I personally think she is a hard-core drinker from her appearance/behavior) -- and keeping her away from family and with some real criminals may make her start talking.

"OK, so why do you want to talk with Tony?" Kristina asks. "You probably don't want to tell me, do you?"

"Tony had nothing to do with Caylee," Casey Anthony said.

"Oh, then why do you want to talk with him?" Kristina asks.

"Because he is my boyfriend and I want to actually try and sit and talk to him because I didn't get a chance to talk to him earlier," Casey Anthony said. "Because I got arrested on a (expletive) whim today and because they are blaming me for stuff that I would never do. That I didn't do."

She was real quick to answer that question and others are skeptical about Tony as well, it appears to me.

If she doesn't know what happened to Caylee, then how the heck does she know that Tony wasn't involved?

Ok I am new to this forum and I may be wrong, but if Caylee is still alive, wouldn;t the correct sentence be "Tony HAS nothing to do with Caylee"? Casey saying he HAD nothing to do with Caylee sounds as if she is talking about Caylee in the past tense.

I sincerely doubt Caylee is alive or Casey would be singing like a bird by now. She has got to be going nuts sitting in jail & not out sporting the newest sexiest line of clothes she can buy.

i agree with you 100%. i think that is why she was such a to her parents when she called from jail. she is jealous. not only about why everyone is soooo much more concerned about caylee missing (as opposed to poor her being stuck in jail), but of the actual confinement itself and what she is missing out on - the parties, the booze, the boys, her amazing fraudulent life. casey didn't like to listen to anyone as it was, and that was before she went to jail - now her whole life is a rigid schedule dictated by others. she must be ready to crawl up the walls.

i am trying to put myself in her position. i would go crazy, obviously (but then again, i would never let my "stolen" kid go missing for a month, while partying like its my job. which maybe it was, because lets be serious, she didnt have any others). but i also would be barking and screaming everything in my power that could get me out of that tiny little monitored cell. i would be demanding they find my little girl. i would make them ensure me of my family's safety. but i would make my innocence known to anyone and everyone. unless, of course, i was guilty. then the only thing i could do would be to suck it up, weather the storm, and stick to my story (even if it is a crazy tale that makes no sense whatsoever)...

Yes she has been babied way to much! When I heard her Mom calling her sweetheart & Casey let her have it!!! I thought WOW!!! She needs smacked in the mouth! I think she is just blaming her Mom now. ll her fault for calling the cops.

Yes - I initially saw Merk City there - It says it means Sumter South Carolina - badass dangerous place. I thought I remembered someone saiyng they thought Caylee might be heading toward South Carolina?

Only for the benefit of discussion here...

IF Casey were telling parts of the truth, LE should be looking for a 20-something, hispanic female who lived in or around those apartments during the time Caylee went missing. She may not have lived there, but been a "visitor". She could also be an illegal using someone else's identity to be here. (I know from experience here, one person will lease the apartment and 20 people move in...sleeping on every inch of space available.)

Is it at all possible? Extremely remote...but it is possible.

Also, could Caylee have been taken over a debt or a theft that Casey was responsible for and part of the reason that Casey won't fess up? She is obviously more worried about saving her own hide in every way than saving Caylee's.

yeah, the butt picture is from a while ago.. her hair was a lot shorter.

Wow! Are those from Casey's account?? So...have you sleuthers found anymore evidence of Jesus being the father? If Casey made that, it is very likely he is the one she at least told people was the father.

And the "Z is for Zanny"? Did that come from Casey's account??? That is big. That is much more likely to be a drug reference than a praise to her babysitter!

After Jesus Ortiz died, a LOT of his friends left messages on his MySpace saying they loved him & would miss him.

"Z is for Zany" sounds like the typical type avatar/picture that any fun loving person would use on the internet. I'm sure MOST of her friends were pretty 'zany' when they were out having fun.

I will give you an example, I was at the beach with my kids, and I turned my back for 2 seconds to fold up a child sized beach chair, and my then 4 y/o walked away from me, and I couldn't find him. I was going nutssssssss. My oldest son was 6 at the time, and he was screaming just as loud and frantically as I was for his lil brother. I can't tell you the scenarios that went through my mind. About 3 minutes or so later(I can tell you it seemed like an eternity), I hear the sweetest thing in the world, his little laugh, and saw him running toward me. I will never ever forget that feeling, and everytime I see a parent unconcerned that their child missing, I know without a doubt something is just not right. I don't see any true concern or emotion on Casey's face. IF she had accidentally killed Caylee, there would be both tears and guilt, and imo she expresses none of those emotions.

I think the entire case is odd.....

Where is Caylee? Right now the lawyers should be ripping Casey's parental rights out from under her. Just to prove how ugly this really is.

Everyone needs to quit babying Casey & let her face reality. JMO

I so much agree with that, cheko1. And I hope she sits in jail! I just have a feeling that LE is getting ready to charge Casey. I am sure their forensics are back and hopefully they have enough to at least charge her.
LE has the phone records and the financial records. They have Casey's cell phone also. It was in a live report one day last week that they had gone to TonE's apartment and picked it up. They were reporting from outside the apartment building. Does anyone remember that?
I wonder if Casey had left any clothes over at TonE's? If she did, then I hope she left the ones she had on when she last touched Caylee. TonE had picked Casey up at the check cashing place, so maybe there was even a smell or odor to her clothes.
Being as crazy as Casey is, I so hope those clothes were there at TonE's!

I am also trying to see what 'sorter' means as his job.
I wonder if Casey was helping sell drugs, somehow owed the dealer money, he took caylee as ransom? And so she was out selling pills at parties to pay off her debt?

I am the one who linked mike16acres. I had searched for 'mike walker' through Lee's roomates page and found him. He is friends with lee, casey and tonE. But, it seems his last name is lowe... according to his xray.
I do think 'king merc' is the right one. Sorry for any confusion.
That being said, this mike16acres IS still friends with a bunch of her mutual friends as well as with casey.

Mike 16acres does tattoos, so he probably did Casey's.

Hey everyone. I am trying to make a timeline with the facts of the case along with Casey's myspace and facebook comments. So we can see what she says and does through those with the timeline. I am going to sent up a thread called Myspace Comments. I have been trying to composite all of the myspace comments through all the threads but there is too many threads. I don't understand why or what the family is attempting to do here?
What are they honestly doing to attempt to find Caylee?
Do they expect someone to call them on the phone & say we have Caylee? I don't get it....

They all need to start at the jail & each of them take time to talk to Casey. I heard lastnight that they said the family only has to raise a little more money to get her released from jail. I bet before the ink is dried on the papers they put murder charges on her.

Technically she IS speaking about a past event.... Caylee's disappearance 31 days ago.

'Tony HAD nothing to do with Caylee disappearing.... someone else did,' is what she's trying to say.
