There are rules here too. Thank heavens!I heard some disgruntled posters have left another site because they accused the mods of not allowing them freedom of speech. Looks like they may have come here with their garbage.
I never heard about Casey posting here. Just Jesse Grund's father. Anyone else?
So does this mean Casey or her family couldn't benefit from this crime? I would think she couldn't but maybe her brother or parents could. Let me know, I'm interested in this. There should be a law that no one in the family can benefit from a crime a family member committed. In other words any proceeds would benefit the victim or a victim rights association.
Sorry LI- that is not legal. The terms of retention must be contracted up front. It has been my opinion and posted the day she hired him he is working for a flat percentage of the rights (all) associated with this case.
Additionally, the state may have to subsidize based on the budget and type of prosecution case that is presented, leveling the playing field..
I have never heard that, and I do not think it is true.
Deedlebugg...I'm glad to know that I'm not the only one who is obsessing over this case...it's on my mind 24/7 - I DREAM about it. I think that the outcome is going to effect our "recovery" time in this one significantly.
Some States have laws that won't allow you to make money off of a case like this. Not sure about Florida.

Personally, I think Caylee's father is a married man. Perhaps he's successful and makes good money, but I think that's who it is. And looking at this case, perhaps was giving a certain amount of money each month to Casey to remain anonymous. Just a theory.
I hope I'm not sounding rude here, but you guys are actually calling these people?
What if someone would have answered, were you going to ask questions or just hang up?
I'm trying to say this respectfully, but I'm not sure if we should be calling people. Unless we have tips.
I bet Cindy could do the book and get the money. She isn't a criminal. At least yet. Maybe thats the plan. She does a book when its over and the lawyer gets a good take of it. I can almost guarantee it. She can say Casey is paying the lawyer because it is Casey's story.
Yes, we found that also last week. It's interesting because it was four months after the birth of Caylee. Not sure if it's anything connected to the case though.george filed for divorce from cindy in 2005. it was later dropped in 2007. search via iclerk.
