This is a great question for Nancy Grace. If any of you ever try to get through make a note to yourself to ask this quesiton because Blink is spot on here about a guardian to protect the child's rights.

But can the court assign someone to protect the rights of someone who is MISSING or dead?????

Are you implying that George could be the father? A while back I posed the question about George being a step father. This is why I posted that. I thought for some reason he was only the step father who adopted them. So an incestous case it would be. Cindy is so quick to point out that the father of Caylee is deceased. They seem agitated about those who ask the question of who Caylee's father really is. Could it be George? And furthermore isn't there conversation that they don't like their father?

No. I am not in anyway implying George is the father of Caylee. What did I post that would lead to think this?

Oh, I know it won't be public, but something usually comes up in the shows (NG etc) regarding a diagnosis etc. And I didn't hear anything on NG last night so I was just curious.

It was on the morning of June 24th that George filed the burglary report about the shed. What's the likelihood that Casey got a little jingle from mom & dad that morning asking her if she'd been home to fill up lately?

Caylee went missing. Casey investigated her disappearance for a month & had some very good leads but then LE & the media became involved & botched the whole case.

If only Casey continued to search for Caylee, we would have found her alive.

One other thing, Casey used the exact time frame if we can believe her she said "nine days". That makes me wonder if when she says 31 days she has to be lying, or if it's true??

What benefit is it have a missing person assigned a guardian unless it would be to waive some kind of right of searching the home...which isn't necessary, or regarding some type of financial settlement or inherentance issue? There is no custody issue until the child is found alive. Seems superfluous to me.

a) She is missing at the hands of her Mother, there is no known Father, argue the fact she is found?? The state automatically has "custody" and could protect her and act in her best interests.
b)protect her rights to any trusts, earnings for story, etc..
c) I respectfully disagree there is no custody issue until she is found alive, her Mom is in jail on neglect felony and her GP's would not stand up to a CYS interview right now based on this bs. If she were found, she would go back to them, which I do not believe would be in her best interests.
d) Force the paternity issue potentially.

Im speaking from a legal perspective above, from a personal one-
The only reason I could think of is to keep this whackjob family from profiting or taking donations or setting up trusts and using them for you know who.. Sorrowfully, I do not think this will be at issue

I thought the psych eval was supposed to be out by now? Did we hear anything on that yet?

A Psych evaluation would remain private to the public until the case goes to trial.

IIRC, Cindy reported that they had been there since Casey was 3. The sell date of the "already built with prior tenants" home was 10/04/1989.

If you want to follow that to the next level, find where they were prior to this address? I thought I remembered her saying they were somewhere else in Florida before buying the current home.

One other place to look is Ohio.

Well my point was to make sure that no one in this Anthony family be allowed to benefit off of a deceased child. That's my only concern. If she is deceased I would hate for this family to be able to profit from her death. I think we can all agree that any of them benefiting monetarily would be upsetting. Maybe this isn't even an option to keep them from making money off of Caylee, I don't know, but I do know I'm unsettled by the potential for the Anthony's to make money off of this case.

I find it interesting that we all know Cindy took video of Caylee on Father's Day but it HAS NEVER BEEN DISCUSSED BY THE FAMILY OR IN MEDIA INTERVIEWS. No one thinks to ask "So why are you still saying June 9th is the last day you saw her? Was Casey with you on Father's Day? Where was she and Caylee before Father's Day? Where did they go after the celebration?"

WHY AREN'T WE HEARING QUESTIONS ABOUT THIS???

In other news, Casey Anthony has cost me two weeks of restful sleep, and I'm not about to let her cost me my job as well. I'm going back to work, my friends.

Although it is customary for married couples to have both their names on a deed, it's not unusual to not see it either. Sometimes its the male that has his name on it only and never puts his wife on the deed. But will use both incomes on the mortgage.

Any judgment against George or lein can't go against the house as he isn't an owner.

All LE has stated is that the hair was consistent with Caylee's hair in color and length and they are testing it. No mention of it being like Casey's hair.
