I totally think like you Blink as far as them tampering with evidence. I mean we have seen so many experts who deal with this kind of thing on a regular basis say that Cindy is obstructing justice.
Who am I to argue against the experts...LOL. I think at least Cindy was threatened with incarceration and possibly George.

About this car and the smell. IF the body was in the trunk and then REMOVED - even just before the "abandon" at the Amscot - well wouldn't that smell have dissipated (even just a little) without the source to fuel it? I've thought about this before - the car wasn't picked up until July 15 - and the smell was still there (and obviously strong as well). If Casey dumped the body before leaving the car - well that leaves over 2 weeks that the car was without the source - I know smells do linger - but without a source I know they do begin to dissipate as well. Anyone else?

By the time LE came into this they brought in cadaver dogs that gave a hit on the trunk and the yard.

If the story is true that the investigators took something from the shed, could it have been the gas cans?
Haven't heard that yet.

We do not know she doesnt know who the father is, maybe a perfectly good explanation for that not being revealed. I am sure some of her friends know who the father is, but if its been kept a secret for some reason this long, I do not see them offering that information to the media.

Not knowing who your baby's father is does sound like rampant sexual promiscuity to me.

Friends have said she didn't know who the father was.

Cindy says that the father died in a car accident. And, well, anything Cindy says is questionable.

I was like that when I was studying for my masters' comps. Lack of sleep will do that to ya...lol.

I'm in grad school (getting my Psy.D)now and let me tell ya...I feel like that too.

I think they have tampered with evidence, were threatened with their own incarcerations, Casey will be in jail forever anyway, do the right thing for Caylee now..

I agree.
Also, tho, could what LE have taken from the storage shed have been mulch and/or soil? Maybe it is the same kind of mulch/dirt in bags that was found in the trunk of the car?
I hope and pray that Casey will NEVER be permitted to be out of jail.
I would only be right for the family to want little Caylee to be put to rest properly. Caylee deserves that as well as justice.

i know any of casey's trouble with the law (if she had any) from when she was a minor would be sealed. but i wonder if she was in trouble with the law to the extent that dad felt he had to quit LE. when i was preteen we had a neighbor who was LE and her son was so abusive to other kids, me included, he almost cut my foot off by running a bike into my leg. that she ended up quiting LE.

Dad was LE for 10 years not 20. When he resigned and moved to Florida in 1989 Casey was only 3 years old. I doubt she was in trouble with LE. Some of these things are getting too far out since we already know her birth date and the 1989 Florida move date.

I strongly disagree with the sexual abuse theory on Casey. I think this girl is mentally disturbed and has been for a long time. I think it's something the Anthony's have tried to pretend doesn't exist.

The way Lee is handling her tells me, that Casey has put them in similar situations regarding her lying and eventually they feel she will "tell the truth".

Lee sounded so weary in those last two phone calls that Casey initiated. In his tone, it's as if he said, "Oh, it's you", perhaps while thinking, "I have nothing more to say to you. What did you do to your beautiful daughter?"

It's often mentioned that in Casey's calls she doesn't ask about the search for Caylee.

But nor has she said these most normal of expressions: "I love you", "I miss you", or even -- and this was OH so clear last night -- "THANK YOU, LEE, FOR ALL YOU ARE DOING".

My heart goes out to all whose hearts are breaking in this.

Ironically, Casey in some way disposed of her most lovely 'accessory', if you will: she is SO beautiful in those photos with Caylee. (Really stands out from the bar scenes).

How very very sad for all concerned.

They definitely took stuff from the shed and the officer admitted they were collecting evidence

Right but they didn't say gas cans which the poster asked about.

Where are our law students on the board today??

I have to ask this and I am not trying to be argumentative, but how do we know what her behavior was in school, how do we know she had rampant sexual promiscuity at a very young age? I think way too much is being assumed from the pictures. Going to nightclubs, going to parties, having boyfriends does not mean rampant sexual promiscuity to me.

Respectfully, that "possibility" was not based on pictures, as a matter of fact to my knowledge, my colleague has never seen them. It was based on research, some only available to a professional in the field, background info, witness comments and statements, etc.. I fear if I am more specific, I am bridging over into theory, which is off topic, and away from speculation on the parents behavior as of today, which is. One thing I will correct in my above post is that I should have used the words "young age" instead of "very young", which I realized was my interjection and not what was written in the email to me. I respect your opinion that you do not agree, however.

Quote from the Fox story: "It is not clear what was removed from the backyard, but investigators say they must talk with George and Cindy Anthony before they release any new information on the case.

Investigators are expected to release their DNA results from items pulled from a car trunk driven by 22-year-old Casey Anthony, mother of missing 2-year-old Caylee."

Actually she does tell him she misses him on the call in which she asked why he didn't come to see her. He however does not return the statement with the same. He tells her he is basically busy looking for her daughter and she says - oh okay no big deal just wondering where you were I miss you...something like that.

Orlando on FoxNews calls the talks family is having w/FBI/LE possibly a "come to Jesus" moment.

  • #337
LE probably took Casey's clothes from the home also.

I'm confused regarding the gas cans, I heard the shed was broken into, they didn't say who broke into the shed, 2 gas cans were taken.... heres my question. WHO PUT THEM BACK?

Rampant sexual promiscuity is not just linked to prior sexual abuse. People who have Boarderline Personality and Bipolar Disorder also exhibit sexual promiscuity. I stand by my theory that Casey is mentally ill.
While not everyone who was sexually abused will exhibit sexual promiscuity a lot of them do. Yes, BPD and BD also exhibit it. She may be mentally ill, but the question then would be was she born that way or made that way. I will stand by that due to work experience and life experience.

Thanks, you're right on that, she did. Finally. But weren't you just wanting her to say, THANK YOU, LEE? How much he must be hurting in all this.
