i agree about "something bigger going on," but i really have trouble believing anything that casey anthony has alluded to (in terms of the nanny taking caylee, at least)

on another note, maybe they should let casey out of jail and then follow her around for 24 hours. she is just stupid enough to screw herself all over again...

One thing that keeps the nanny thing a possibility to me is that in the final 911 call Cindy made (when she was saying the car smelled like there had been a dead body in it) someone had come into the room and you could hear Cindy talking to 'em and she says something like "she just admitted Caylee is missing, that Zanny took her".

IMO The 911 calls (wanting to have her daughter arrested and reporting her grandchild as missing) were the only times we have heard the truth from Cindy since this began.... and for her to be upset enough to bring up the odor in the car means she was not defending her daughter at THAT time yet "Zanny" came up.

I don't know...

What I find so insane is that....if Cindy/George/Lee truly believed Casey's story that there are threats against her or her family, and that if the kidnapper's know they're "closing in" then they could hurt Caylee.....if that was the case....why on EARTH would they be blabbing about it to the media????? They wouldn't. They would simply say "no comment" and move on. JMO of course, but I find it so odd that if they really believed her, they would be essentially telling the kidnappers that they know what's going on. How stupid would that be? The whole thing is just rediculous to me. I keep thinking "keep it simple, the simplest answer is usually the right one", and honestly, given the facts of the case thus far, the simple answer is that Casey Anthony likely killed her child, thought she could cover it up and hide it long enough so that when it was discovered that her child was missing (she had to know it would be), there may not be any evidence left to be found. All the lies are just that - lies to try to mislead investigators while still keeping the support of her family in tact (so she thinks). I also believe that Cindy, George and Lee now KNOW what is going on and are simply going along with Casey's lies in an effort to find their granddaughter (dead or alive). I truly hope I'm so very wrong.....if I'm wrong I will be the first one to get on here and say YAYAYAYAYAY I AM SO WRRRRONNGGGGGG. So please Casey, prove those of us who fear Caylee is dead WRONG, I beg you.
Then why are there no active organized grid searches going on? As I have said before - LE have to find that body to seal a conviction. AND, by now - even if they do find it - there is probably no way to prove cause of death and at that point the charge is only manslaughter. I find it hard for Casey to be THAT smart - but daddy is ex-LE so it could be. I so want to see her fry and if this keeps going that is probably not going to be the case.

The only thing I can come up with is that they just can't let themselves believe that their daughter would do something like this. (I'm still hoping she didn't)

As far as what they say to the media....I can't say anything about that because if I was in this situation I would be a mess. You have to figure they have never done anything like this before and there is no guide book for this type of thing.

Heh :-) I've heard people who lay them on the roof of the car and forget them - drive away. I've heard folks dropping them in the toilet (eww), the pool, the lake, the ocean, and even washing them. The one thing I will say is that those that have a SIM card inserted in them, like AT&T's, freak out and are running to the nearest AT&T store to get a new SIM with their account info. Without it, the phone doesn't work. So, why would Casey carry a phone without a SIM (because the SIM would have been in her "other" phone)and lose it in the park?

Hmm. Not likely.
but to lose TWO of them and a simm card as well?

As for the second part of my thought process I am completely void of anything wooden with cute little rabbits and other ****...

However, we signed up my son for baseball and he ripped up the field and the box all season long! sigh.... anyone want to trade a boy for a girl! And I thought girls had all the drama! LOL

I am wondering to believe in Zanny do you have to believe that Caylee was with her daily while Casey "worked" M-F June 9th-13th? I have a reason for asking this.

Le has the Sim card and the "old" phone - the only phone missing is the Blackjack.

Not sure if it's out of line to post this here, just trying to get help nailing down facts/timeline and if I have it screwed up would just like help with corrections.
This is all just the best I can figure out.

Somewhere around June 9th Caseys stays with Tony until the 13th (if we go by the roomates latest comment) Maybe this helped set Cindy off over fathers day weekend, Casey having run off like that.

June 13-16 Casey is staying at mom and dads home. The recall of Cindy hearing Caylee and Casey through the door, the recall of Christine going for a walk with Casey and Cayleee during this time.

June 16-22 unknown

June 22-24? she shows up at mom and dad's while they are on vacation--shovel borrowed during this time and shed broken into. Car had been backed to the garage, was she gathering things for moving out? stayed there those couple of days?

June 24-26? but she talks to her ex on the 24th, when he's quitting his job? why? when she's been running with Tony and staying with Tony...odd

June 27th drops car at Amscot and has Tony pick her up there

June 27th-July 8th? stays with Tony until he leaves for NY, stays until Tony returns and cooks for Tony and roomate. Tony says he takes Casey to stay with Morales/Amy 8th

July 8- July 15 Morale's and Amy's home July 15 Casey picks Amy up at airport then Amy drops Casey at Tony's where Cindy will have Amy take her that same day.

Sometime late June but prior to July 7 Casey gets the hand tat of " Bella Vida" (beautiful life) on her hand--in honor of her daughter. Sure would like to know who, what, when and where that was done.

I know we can't comment on the timeline so can anyone help me with what I have here? tia

What about the cryptic phone call with Lee? Casey is talking about being at Universal. Lee asks "for work, or for fun?" Casey says "not for work but not for fun, you know?" "There to meet a mutual friend". (This is were hubby got the "mutual friend" from in his crazy theory and actually believe that is were Casey found out that mutual friend had Caylee and she wasn't getting her back). Point is - if you are at a park ALONE - why would you say you were there to see a mutual friend? I still wonder who was with her at Universal.

Yet another dumb OBVIOUS contridiction by Casey. She says she didn't want to take cops to the exact apartment that ZFG lives because she was scared if the bad guys saw the cops come through their door they would do something bad to Caylee.

Yet she tells the cops in her affidavit that she lied about working at Universal because she wanted to see if she could site Caylee there.

Do what now Casey?

If she wasn't so weird she would be laughable.

Passin though - looks about right to me. I don't know if this was answered but I know it was asked. Amy was in Puerto Rico for vaca - did Morales go with her? If he did why did Casey just pick Amy up at the airport? Anyone know?

Thank you for posting that. Where is the tattoo guy? That should be helpful. And did she "housesit" for Tony til he came back? And then he came home and booted her back to Amy's? Just thinking out loud. Someone mentioned earlier about short term friends and frenemies. For how long was she making these plans to live with Amy? And was it just bull**** talk? Because she didn't have money for first and last month rent and downpayment for utilities. Would like to know Cindy's take on this and whether she was helping her out to move on her own.

I think the family pretending both privately and publically to believe Casey's lies in order to stay on her good side to keep the information from her flowing explains alot.

But what if the whole family is PRETENDING to bark up the wrong tree (i.e focus soley on finding a ZFG) so as to divert attention from who they are really searching for (the real threat)?

JustMe... the problem is Casey was taking a month away from home & kept given her mother halfway believable reasons why she couldn't speak to Caylee.... she's napping, she's with the nanny, she's in bed asleep.

And she lied to all her friends.... as far as we know, NOBODY had any clue Caylee was missing.

It was only when Casey came home that Cindy found out Caylee was missing. That's when she told her mom that Caylee was missing for 31 days.

what if "Zanny" took Caylee in the beginning on the up and up, or at least Casey thought it was the up and up and Casey was partying and having a good time (I spent the first three summers of my divorce having a BLAST while my kids were with their dad-lots of drinking, lots of dating-none of this was typical behavior just me kicking up my heels and enjoying adult time) so Casey is partying living it up then it becomes obvious "Zanny" isn't checking in with her, not returning calls etc., she gets worried but knows if her mom finds our Caylee is "gone" she'll be pissed etc. so she goes into denial then lying because even she can't believe she let something happen....especially if drugs or something is at the center of it her whole life is a sham and everyone is going to know it...

There may have been a Zanny prior to Casey being fired in 2006, but I think after 2006 she just let everyone believe that nothing had changed or that she was working freelance.

Caylee stayed with Casey at Tony's some of those days before the 16th.

That would be huge to LE. I'm not sure about it being factual. But, George DID clean out the car before LE was even called. That's bothered me as well, he's ex LE and drove that car home from the impound lot - the smell - he smelled it and yet he has never commented on it at all.

George has kept very quiet through out this entire tragedy. Since he is a homicide detective, he is well aware not to say anything to anyone or the media.

He probably has been talking to LE all along. Must be the hardest thing he has ever did in his life. I feel sorry for him.......he is between a rock & a hard place.

just to add, i think that casey left with caylee to directly piss off cindy. if you read cindy's july 3rd myspace post it explains better than i can. i think there was drama between the two of them, casey got annoyed with cindy, and just walked out. cindy let it go for awhile and then started hounding her to at least let her see caylee. eventually, cindy found casey, subsequently called the police, but at the time had no idea what she was getting herself into.

this is a simplified version of events, but i think this is what led up to everything....

I agree that something happened between Cindy and Casey. To me that seems one of the solid safe bets of all the speculation we've been making (Cindy's post being a key part of that seeming a safe bet)

MY question though is Lee. It seems that Lee and Casey are close and talk often, and that Lee and Caylee had a special bond. Casey seemed to often be updating him on the latest "Caylee did" and they seem to be in close touch in various means. I mean, even now he's the one we see her initiating contact with.

How did she explain all of this to LEE? Sure he might have known there was a falling out with C/C and she left, but then you'd think that she had to tell him SOMETHING early on when HE wasn't hearing constant stories about Caylee and/or wasn't hearing her in the background if they spoke, etc. And given how much he seems to care about Caylee, you'd think that he might be uneasy with his cute little neice either with a nanny he didn't know for extended periods of time or with his sister living with two virtual male strangers.

I wonder if he was ever concerned during the month and had red flags going off, and if so, that, to me, might explain the much more dejected tone in his voice lately...that HE might be the one it's dawning on that there may have been signs from when Casey and Caylee first moved out that something was amiss, and if so, that that probably doesn't bode well for sweet Caylee.

Hmmm.

Zanny is allegedly 26 years old.

Casey claims Zanny takes Caylee during the days.... the beach & whatnot.

Casey claims she knew Zanny from the nightlife.. the clubs.

Casey is working at nights.....

Zanny watches this kid NIGHTS AND DAYS?!!!!

A 26 year old who likes to go clubbing but babysits at night?

She had Amy's car? Not sure if that answers what you're asking.
