Sheriff's detectives arrested Anthony, 22, on July 16 on charges of child neglect, making false statements and obstructing a criminal investigation. The State Attorney's Office will review the case to determine what, if any, charges to file against Anthony. At that time, she will be entitled to another bail hearing.

That's why the August (counting on my fingers here) !8 day is crucial. Ok-was it 31 or 33 days?

Some interesting things I picked up from the above video:

1) the grandparents had a 6 hour meeting with the feebies this week.

2) the grandparents met with OCSD this week....two times in three days.

3) at the second meeting with OCSD, which was scheduled, they were separted.

4) George took LE back to home to retrieve items.

5) George was in the LE car and their black PT cruiser was not in the garrage.

****now time for nursie to play with dat! I think they didn't know that they would be separated. They couldn't refuse to...it would make them look guilty. LE was able to get some stuff out of George. George gives LE permission to take items from his shed. They drove back to ocsd center where they were reunited and left out a back entrance hoping to evade the media... the look on grandpa's face was completely distressed. GMA had a smile on her face.

Do you think George would lie at this point to LE? I think he was explaining it away for the media...nothing more. JMHO

I am not sure about him yet, but imo, he lied about the pizza in the trunk, so he could have. He is a former detective, of what kind I cannot confirm, but I have to think he is smart enough to realize what is important evidence or statements in this case..

BUt the pizza was NEVER in the car- that's my whole point. George SAID it was in the trunk, but he told LE he put it in the trash, then showed them in the trash. Remember when Cindy called 911 and said about the dead body? She never would have used those words if she saw that pizza in the car, imo
Yes, George did say it was and he did hand it to them from the trash. However, it doesn't mean it wasn't in there to begin with. I actually think it was because I don't think George and Cindy lied about it to LE at that point. I could see Casey trashing the car easily by leaving food etc. in it since she was living a rather nomad lifestyle.

I think maybe George told Cindy AFTER the call about the pizza tho.

Think about it. If George took the gas cans out before LE arrived...he would have also collected the trash out of the car instead of Cindy.

The break-in happened around the same time Casey Anthony borrowed a shovel from a neighbor and the last time the girl's voice was heard.

What "girl's voice"? Caylee's?
Help me on this--is the article poorly written or is the neighbor saying that he heard Caylee's voice the day Casey borrowed the shovel?
If this hasn't been answered, they are referring to JG phone call from Casey on the 24th.

Just curious, I'm back about 5 pages when this post jumps forward...about when do we all stop discussing the gas cans? (just a little haha!)

We don't KNOW he lied about the pizza being in the car.

But by the time she got home she wasn't very happy...

At least one of those was the meeting with the FBI that Cindy requested (and got) wasn't it? I thought they said that was the long one? Not that that necessarily matters...?

Does anyone know, when George handed LE the Pizza from the trash was it from an inside or outside barrel? Also, has LE made any comment about the pizza smelling terrible when George gave it to them??

I am not buying into the pizza theory in case you are wondering :)

Possible, as I think it was George she was yelling to about Caylee missing when calling 911 the second time with the dead body reference, should be interesting to find out where the pizza was from and who ordered it( if the Anthony's had delivery or take out). Otherwise, it might give them a clue about Casey's last stop.

If Poppa has lied about the gas cans, or shall we say, intentionally ommitted, I say very possible he lied about the pizza as it sunk in

Never, evidently. Just wait. Ha!

I have been searching and searching - can't find and hard to wade through the thousands of posts. Can anyone give me a link or know when exactly Amy went to Puerto Rico and was if ever proven (or known) if Ricardo went with her? We know Casey was driving her car and picked her up at the airport on July 15 - that is the jumping off point of this whole circus. Amy took Cindy to Casey after Casey picked her up at the airport. If Ricardo went with Amy why didn't Casey pick them BOTH up?

Can anyone help with this?

LOL Well, when we figure out where George obtained the stolen cans and if he did take them out of her car...then knowing Casey had stolen them...failed to report to the police it was her and also failed to report that he had done this after he drove it home, but before LE went over the car. If the gas cans were never mentioned by George until now...he has a problem. He tampered with potential evidence in TWO investigations.

Yes, I agree, here's what I think, she was smiling on her way out of the station because she thought her interview went well.... She had NO IDEA that George left and went with the detectives because they had been seperated... He would not have told her that at the station on front of people so he tells her in the car on the way home....

I would PAY to have heard that car ride home.. OMG

I don't understand why the pizza is relevant to the case. George and Cindy could have both seen old pizza in the car and could have both smelled the dead body smell. Those two things are not mutually exclusive.

It's JMO, but the fact that Cindy made statements to the press about the pizza being the source of the smell is simply her not wanting to allow her mind to accept that there may have actually been a body in the car. Can't say that I blame her.

At this point, I don't understand why whether there actually was old pizza in the car is important to the investigation. Cindy clearly told the 911 operator that the car smelled like a dead body, and the GP's handed the car over to LE soon after that. They have cooperated.

Blink - I respectfully disagree here. Cindy is a nurse. I'm pretty confident she has smelled a dead body before. Even is she had seen the pizza, if the car smelled like dead body she would have used the same words.

Not to mention George was a detective and he brought the car home, thereby smelling the same smell.

The smell of a dead body cannot be mistaken for any other rotting thing in my opinion. It is very distinctive and not easily confused with other smells. Cindy said the words because she recognized the smell and was paniced because her daughter did not know where her granddaughter was.

Just my opinion,

Salem

I think it's been a couple of days now since there have been any new telephone calls released.
Maybe..just maybe..the family is trying to give her time to think things over.

Casey's facebook note that someone posted last night said something about PR having her friends (plural) so it seems like someone else was probably there...but I've not seen anything other than that.

Makes me wonder if their car isn't bugged by the Feds.
It would be a good idea, wouldn't it?!
