You know, SouthernMom...bad things do happen to good people. However, as one Suthn' Mom to another...our family would never behave like they have! We would consider the child missing as paramount and never cover for one who possibly could have been responsible in any way for her disappearance. Maybe I am just not "deep" enough South to be able to justify it, but that is not how we work! We take pride in our family and love them with everything we have...but we don't tolerate harm to our own even if the perp is within our midst.
:clap::clap::clap: We army folks do too! (even tho I am a native northerner, I did not burn Atlanta LOL)

It was stated at the Bond hearing. Yes, we did. He started work right before that hearing and Cindy didn't even know his job description or where he worked. Was quite unusual.

In one of her interviews, Cindy said words to the effect that George was to attend orientation, and she insisted that he go. This was after Caylee was missing.

Wasn't their a rumor that Baez was helping them?

I hope not. This will probably not help them at all. In the end he is Casey's atty and his loyalties lie with her. He will not hesitate, if he has to go to trial, to point fingers at someone else to get his client off. Namely Cindy Anthony.

I agree SS. I've turned in a family member who caused harm to others. Most in my family agreed with me, a few thought it should have been handled from "within the family." One family member had a heart attack and died due to the stress from the fallout.
I guess I just think too much about what makes people do the things they do (the part of me that loves psychology.) I don't always like the things that people do though.

BTW, I think someone else is involved in this crime whatever it may consist of. I don't think casey could break a dead lock off the shed with a shovel. I think it would take a stronger person. I wonder if the other person was slouched down in the car or if the neighbor noticed anyone else. Maybe this anthony isn't so innocent.

I don't remember where I read or saw that.

(ps it should have been there not their, darn late nights.)

I thought about that - but I think Casey is involved in the "other" cover up - up to her neck - "they" Casey and whoever went to the house (remember Cindy and George weren't home at the time) they were going to do it in the back corner - once there these "youngsters" realized they couldn't get a hole THAT DEEP or Casey said NO not here - so they stole the gas cans and took off again.
Sorry, not even going to entertain that one. Makes no sense when there was a heavily wooded area just around the corner from her house.

Geraldo's show tonight really portrayed this Tony in a bad light - hhhmmmm "new" crowd - "new" BF - never know.

I have come up with (yet another) theory. I will cross post it into the theories thread - but PER NURSEBEEME - she said to put it out there.
(snipped)
Interesting theory, and well thought out. However, I would wonder if it were something as innocent as Casey giving her to her bio father, why all the drama? Why would she sit in jail just to cover that up? If it is her father, he has every right to be with her, especially if he had the mother's blessings. Doesn't seem like it would be that big of a deal.

Is there a connection drawn between Caylee and the other possible corpse? What about the statements they made elluding to them being scared for Caylee's safety if they "told who had her".

Just wanting clarification....

swag...it is a well thought out possiblity! Good thinking! It also reminds me not to get boxed into one corner absolutly but to go where the evidence does. Until forensics is back I am thinking Casey did something to her child. I hope and pray that you are right tho!!!

If your childs life depended on acting normal in every facet of your life...you would act normal in every facet of your life. There are people that are very convincing when convincing you that you can be seen everywhere. Not to mention, I am not saying that I believe anything the family is saying...I am floating ideas and presenting theories. I thought that was what we were here for.

I would buy that if she has ever shown any emotion. In the affidavit it even states she was "laughing" at times when giving the police information. So you think she was "acting normal" then even (when I can gaurantee you no "bad guys" were around to witness)?

Ok - maybe Casey and "they" were partying in the backyard - albeit "quietly" as the neighbors would have heard and someone od'd. I don't know. . . . .

Sounded like they were trying to do a Susan Smith motive to me.

Casey does not strike me as a 90 lb. weakling here. She can swing a shovel and hit a lock a few times. I would say she could kick some serious @ss if she let her rage go. (Which may have happened in this case)

People like this convince you that even LE is part of it...and some people laugh when they are nervous. Like I said, floating theories.

If you are right, they did say they dug bamboo shoots up frequenly. Therefore, digging wouldn't be an issue for the neighbors.

he certainly has been right~seating Cindy in some of the media interviews and that is just plain strange. They need to retain their own counsel. It looks funny... if Casey did murder her child...it is a conflict of interest and could come back to complicitly bite them in the cooolah!
