Question is, who put the bag of trash in the car.

A) Casey was carrying it around with her? She was being a good housekeeper and taking out the trash? They ate pizza, she did laundry, bagged the trash and tossed it in her car to haul off.... she just forgot. Doesn't seem likely.

B) Casey tossed it in there to mask the smell of a decomposing body? She could have used the Arm & Hammer in an attempt to clean the car? Partially likely.

Either of the above mentioned possibilities will mean the trash was in the car, the Anthony's knew what the smell was, but they removed the bag of trash. Is that tampering?

C) Cindy or George put the trash in the car in an attempt to mask the smell, then took it out after, ?? a few hours? It wasn't that long from them getting the car from the tow yard, to LE being called. Only one day before it was picked up.

D) Cindy and George only CLAIM there was trash in the car in an attempt to excuse away the smell.

Either way, none of these possibilities look good. It still points to someone covering up a smell of decomposition.

JMO..... Everything at Cindy & George's house appears to be pretty neat,
doesn't seem like they would have old trash (w/maggots) laying around, just in case they needed it.

A) They better not get paid...or if they do...donate it.

B) Why is is that this family is ALWAYS putting the onus on somebody else!!

IMO it's because they are hiding something. Maybe a lot of family secrets here. FWIW

I think this upcoming week is going to be hell for the Anthony family. We know forensics are due back. Caylee's birthday on Sat. I can't even imagine the pain that family is in. I can't fault them for getting ticked at the media, for they never stop do they?! I'm hopeful that Casey can be more forthcoming, choses to be truthful in lieu of her baby's birthday.

I don't think this family expected People to investigate a thing. I think they just thought People would believe every word they said.

Does anyone know for sure if People pays for interviews and if so what is the "going" rate?

I have heard that this was an investigative piece, do they pay for those?

Agreed! If her child is alive and has been kidnapped why is she too busy to worry about that? In her first calls home it was all about TonE. Not "help me find Caylee, please Lee!" Her friend is crying and she gets mad about it. Now this morning I heard an interview with Lee where he said "She is crying now, she shows compassion today" Too little too late!

Compassion for what ? I truly think she cannot show any compassion she has no idea what that even feels like. She at the moment is coming across like a true sociopath. Her family~~~~ I have no clue what their whole dynamic is very very weird to say the least.

You are right. I have been trained to "analyze" and so I do a lot of it. I was looking at the background in those pictures that were taken at the Anthony's house. The birthday ones. Everything was neat. All the knick-knacks in their perfect place. The pictures of the backyard are the same. Not a thing out of place. Not a childrens' toy in the yard, ect. So now we have them doing something out of character.
Something stinks and it ain't the garbage folks.

About the smell in the car... this is taken from a FARK thread:

Is there any truth to that?

Although I can't think of any reason there'd be raw hamburger in the trunk OR that the dogs would hit on that.
🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 rotting meat stinks to high heavn but it does not smell like death an odor in and off its own. I'm going bk to your post and read it again for fun. This guy is joking right? Bile gas is putrid..

ORLANDO, Fla. -- A report published in People magazine "blindsided" the family of a missing Orlando girl, the child's grandfather said, prompting an angry weekend response.

"Don't look at the article that is in People magazine and formulate, 'Oh my God, this and that and whatever,'" George Anthony said. "The article was not put together how we were told it was going to be put together. Again, we have gotten blindsided. My family got blindsided."

What the heck do the Anthony's expect people to 'focus on?'

Caylee went missing & her own mother didn't go to LE immediately.... didn't even tell ANYBODY.... just went on living her life as if nothing was wrong.

Now the ONLY thing we hear from Caylee's family is that they have reasons to believe Caylee is alive BUT they can't reveal any relevant information to the public because it's too dangerous.

Without any info at all.... how can they expect the public to help them find Caylee?

Caylee sightings.... Elvis sightings..... UFO sightings..... THAT'S what the Anthonys want the public to 'focus on'.... just keep those sighting poring in folks & stop noticing that the child's mother isn't going to tell anyone where she left her daughter!

I agree! Some folks subscribe to the idea that sociopaths are born that way. i belong to the school of thought that thinks they may be "made" like that through experiences in early childhood.

Either way, she seems to have ice water running through her veins. Look at all she is putting her family through. She seems to act as if that is their job in life. She questioned Lee in one call "I didn't see you in court today" He then started making a bunch of excuses as to why he wasn't there. She then comes back with "Oh, that's okay"

It's all about Casey.

I know, that doesn't go with everything we've seen, and there really seems to be no logical excuse.

It just seems obvious to me that the Anthony's knew what the smell was, but are trying to find every way to excuse it. Casey has never had to take responsibility for her own actions and this continues even in the worst of tragedies in their family.

My other question is, how did Cindy know exactly how long that trash had been there? How did she know what day.. (counting on my fingers.. 15, 16, 17, 18, 19 days).. it was put there as she claimed in one interview.

George, just today, said to do the experiment and leave it for 15 days. Where are these figures coming from?

Bringing over from last thread

They do have liquid detergent, and it does come in bottles. I have a 1.5g bottle in my kitchen. It's been sitting there forever, but I know I've seen it on store shelves recently, as well. I steer clear unless it's a dire emergency, and won't let it near *my* clothes at all. Every time I've used it, the clothes have come out smelling really, really foul (to me, at least, doesn't bother DH).

I stand corrected :)

If I was CEO of Arm and Hammer, and heard George say that, I'd be tempted to repeat that scenario and see if my product actually causes odors to worsen. That is bazaar that he would say it was "Arm and Hammer". Even their trash has a bazaar twist to it.

My posting went poof and all I got was this notice thread is closed.

(From your post on last thread) LE should have been called immediately. How do we know if there was no body still in that trunk?

I would think a two week old body left in a car trunk, would be very hard to remove.....& it would leave lots of body fluids behind.

Sorry...still not the same.
Not long ago my sister passed away. She was a recluse and had alienated most of her friends. She died of a heart attack in her bathroom and was not found for a little over 3 weeks. My husband went to gather her personal belongings 2 days after her body was removed. Virtually everything in the apartment had to be thrown away. Some clothes in a closed closet were salvaged. And why the neighbors did not smell it is a mystery except that she was in a ground floor apt. and so fluids did not seep down into another apt. I was told there are special cleaners that come out and clean the apt. They wear hazmat suits. At any rate my husband said he knows rotten ground beef smell (gross) and he know human decomp smell. He says its seared in his soul--there is no way to describe it and yes, I'm sure its part psychological. He said it CANNOT be confused with anything else.

George-butch up and be a man. Admit tht the smell is the smell of death. Urge your youngest child to do the right thing by the Little One and bring her home. Poor sweet Caylee.

Right! All their "Help us find Caylee, folks" or "Lets look for this little girl, because she is out there"

Okay, give us something to go on. It's a big world. They are not putting out enough info for anyone to search on.

As it is the only leads have been from people who just happen to find something on their own, or see a little girl whose name is Caylee.

In most missing child cases we at least have something to go on, IF the child was really kidnapped.

I have heard that this was an investigative piece, do they pay for those?

And we had heard that (investigative) while it was still in the works, hadn't we? Surely the Anthony family would have heard that also... I mean, investigative to me doesn't necessarily mean "we're buying everything we're being told and not looking at it all ourselves"...?

Besides, if the goal is to find Caylee, with nothing to go on because Casey didn't say anything for a month, and the family doesn't seem to even have untangled all her "leads" yet, they should be wanting people to dig and investigate...how else is Caylee going to be found?
