Don't anybody look if you cry easily. I could only glance a few seconds.

I for one would like to demand that Casey's cell be wallpapered with these images if that doesn't break her well, I don't really want to finish that sentence!!

I can't comment on a couple of these pictures because I am modest to the bone. I supposed these days it's normal for the whole family to be in the delivery room, though I could never imagine my father being in there while I gave birth, as one one of these pictures show.

I don't think this family expected People to investigate a thing. I think they just thought People would believe every word they said.

Does anyone know for sure if People pays for interviews and if so what is the "going" rate?

All the magazines pay. And, to get an exclusive they pay big.
Rough guess, from what Larry Birkhead was paid. 400-600 thousand for a cover.
IMO

Oh, and these pictures clearly show she never had a C-section as we had thought. So why in the world wasn't Casey the first to hold her baby!? Hmmm...

I'm sorry I posted the father question here instead of there...

But, I put it there also. I was going to erase it buy y'all are quick!

Did we ever discuss if Casey was in the welfare system?

I've wondered about this also......& from what I hear, welfare benefits are much better, *if* no father is named.

Oh.. to point out. There were questions a few threads back about why Casey wasn't ALLOWED to hold Caylee first at birth. I believe from these pictures, that it is now evident that she didn't have a C-section?

Also, Casey was nursing Caylee in the hospital. That should discredit her being on drugs.

whoever asked if People magazine pays for interviews....

no, they don't; however, there are sometimes concessions. for example, with brad pitt and angelina jolie's baby pictures, they donated a large sum to charity in their names for the exclusive rights to publish their pics first.

i doubt very, very strongly that People paid the anthonys. cindy has been all over the press, im sure she was (at first) loving the idea of a huge national magazine cover-story and human interest piece. i just think they expected the article to be a tug-on-the-heart-strings sympathy piece without any investigative journalism.

on that note, i think the anthonys gravely overestimate public opinion pertaining to their case - we want answers, not fluff. and casey has answers but refuses to talk without immunity. ridiculous.

I agree. I can't help but wonder what will make her break. Her daughters upcoming 3rd birthday?

I couldn't look at all the pictures, it's just too hard. I did see Jesse and his dad and it's clear they loved little Caylee as if she were their own. those pics brought tears to my eyes. They were there when she was just born.

I guess he had to be in there...he cut the cord....

in general, any reputable newsworthy magazine does not, on principle, pay for interviews. it is against all journalistic integrity.

i was the editor of the first amendment law review, we did a symposium that covered this topic...

On a related note, I just thought how un-private (not really a word) young adults lives seem in the present time. Cameras in the labor/delivery room, webshots, myspace, youtube, etc. With all the online photos being discovered of Caylee/Casey it seems that their lives were shared in full view of the world. So how does that child go missing for possibly 31 days unnoticed?

When my boys were born, my husband was the first to hold them while I was being attended to....since there wasn't a baby daddy available, I guess Cindy got that honor?

Compassion for what ? I truly think she cannot show any compassion she has no idea what that even feels like. She at the moment is coming across like a true sociopath. Her family~~~~ I have no clue what their whole dynamic is very very weird to say the least.

For her I have no compassion, my compassion lies with that sweet little girl that is missing, as far as her family I think they are in denial, not wierd. And I do feel for them (fami;y), they have been tossed into this situation unwillingy.

I know there was an instance in my life in which I was told some very bad news, in the back of my mind I think I knew the truth yet I would not admit it to myself or anyone for a time, it was too much for me to bear at the time, maybe that is what is going on and they have to come to terms with it on thier own.

Who wants to believe that something awful has happened? Until the child is found they have hopes.

I really think that JG thought Caylee was his at first. The Rev said that they did the paternity test and it was 0 probability.
I wonder if the subject of financial aid from these folks came up and that's when they had the paternity test to make sure??
I realize there is a thread for that. Just posted it here because of the latest pics.
