New article titled "Casey Breaks Down, Dad Reports"...but don't get your hopes up. Dad saw her this morning. She basically says Caylee should be nearby by her birthday next week. WTF??

I saw this. It's what made me wonder if Casey will break on Caylee's birthday.

On another note, from the article:
Dispelling Rumors
Trying to mend his daughter’s reputation, Casey’s father also said the photos of Casey shown partying were not taken during Caylee’s disappearance, but rather three years ago when Casey was actually pregnant.

 That's even better. She honestly did not look pregnant in the photos.

This family needs a spokesperson and soon!

I guess he had to be in there...he cut the cord....
GEORGE CUT THE CORD???? JMO - but eeeewwww. I could see mama or maybe even Jesse - but daddy? My hubby was right there - almost passed out as my youngest reached out and pulled down - lol - but even he didn't cut the cord the doc did. Now I think that is just downright strange. As far as Casey not being the first to hold her - I did both mine without drugs AT ALL - that is until the baby was out - then I wouldn't let even the doc touch me without that demerol-lol- that's why after they cleaned up the baby they gave her to hubby and told him to be careful when handing her to me because by that time the drugs had kicked in and I was almost singing - lol. They had people on either side of me once I got her because of that too.

Anyone else?

Are the results of the evidence expected back right around the time of Caylee's birthday? (The end of this week)

It's possible she didn't know she was pregnant. Not that I believe that's when those pictures were from, but a point worth mentioning.

JMO..... Everything at Cindy & George's house appears to be pretty neat,
doesn't seem like they would have old trash (w/maggots) laying around, just in case they needed it.

I live in Florida and my trash is picked up every Tuesday and Friday. It's possible the Anthony's might have the same trash days.

Let's assume the household trash was already picked up by the garbage company in the AM on the 15th before they brought home the car from the towing company. (Normally trash is picken up quite early in the day.)

They found the "bag of pizza" in the car on July 15th and toss ed it in the trash can while adding additional household trash from Tuesday evening forward. I think the car was towed on the 17th, but don't hold me to it. This is why the trash that "housed" the pizza was still available for the police to view, take etc. The next trash day was Friday, July 18th.

You would be surprised what you would find in household trash that sits in a trash container in the Florida's heat. And if they stored their trash containers in a shed ... well then it is even worse.

For her I have no compassion, my compassion lies with that sweet little girl that is missing, as far as her family I think they are in denial, not wierd. And I do feel for them (fami;y), they have been tossed into this situation unwillingy.

I know there was an instance in my life in which I was told some very bad news, in the back of my mind I think I knew the truth yet I would not admit it to myself or anyone for a time, it was too much for me to bear at the time, maybe that is what is going on and they have to come to terms with it on thier own.

Who wants to believe that something awful has happened? Until the child is found they have hopes.

I understand what you are saying. It must be a double whammy they may have lost their daughter and their granddaughter.

WHAT I DON'T UNDERSTAND is their constantly lying. Saying one thing, then either flat out denying they said it or trying to make excuses for what they said.
It show's a pattern of lying.

I didn't know that.

Is that bothersome to anyone else or am I all alone here experiencing my own gross factor?

Don't get me wrong, I'm not at all insinuating anything here at all. Seriously.

But then, I guess I was so different. I was born into a family with high modesty and morals. My dad, still to this day, won't tell a nasty joke in front of me, and I'm 42!

in general, any reputable newsworthy magazine does not, on principle, pay for interviews. it is against all journalistic integrity.

i was the editor of the first amendment law review, we did a symposium that covered this topic...

Sorry, I disagree. We hear how much the magazines pay for stories all the time. The only ones not paying are the News talk shows, like Greta, LKL, and Nancy Grace. Magazines such as People, OK, National Enquier etc. pay.
Entertainment Tonight (ET) pays big bucks.
IMO

Casey is boo-hooing for herself. Heartless wench! Wants to be home for the 3rd birthday PARTY for her missing daughter. Operative word being PARTY! I wonder if Cindy will spring for 6 pack this time?

I don't like these people.....my prayers at mass this morning for Caylee.

When I saw those photos it broke my heart. Casey really looked like Caylee was the light of her life. I would love to know what in Casey's life changed so drastically to change how she felt about her little girl. I myself am a mother. My girls are my world and I will protect them always. I must admit that I have my share of partying pics from my few and far between nights out when the girls were overnight with their father but I could never ever in a million years enjoy a night out if I did not know that my children were 100% safe.

What changed?

Casey is unmarried... comes home & tells her family she's pregnant at age 18-19 years old.

Her family deals with THAT & they're thrilled to have the first grandchild.

They give Casey & her baby a home & help her as much as possible.

Things go well at the beginning.... over time they see Casey is NOT making any moves to grow up & take responsibility.... she still behaves as if she's some teenager... partying & sleeping late & running around with her friends.

Her family is getting tired of being taken for granted & tired of waiting for Casey to grow up.

They expect Casey to get her life together & to be a REAL mother to Caylee..... up until then, she's more like a big sister who is babysitting than a real mother.

But what do you do when you have no job, no babysitter, no time to chill because you have a 3 year old demanding a LOT of your time????

It's not as much fun being a mother when you have to BE a mother 24/7.

Trying to mend his daughter’s reputation, Casey’s father also said the photos of Casey shown partyingQUOTE]

I took it to mean that Casey's photos of the toilet scene (? vomiting) are actually three years old and were taken while pregnant and suffering from MS not related to partying. Of course, it was worded badly if that's what they were trying to communicate.

It is, but the various hair colors, hair styles and hair lengths? Unlikely she went through them all in the 6 weeks or so she would not be aware of her pregnancy. :blowkiss:

Same here. I just would not have felt comfortable at all with that. I wonder though, if good morals and such, are not that important these days???

FWIW, I think this will be answered if the Anthony's suddenly have enough funds to bail Casey out of jail. Because of that I pray People did NOT pay for the interview.

The key word here is "reputable" magazine.

With all due respect, I don't see what cutting the umbilical cord has to do with morals??:waitasec:

You kind of are insinuating something ;)

No. I don't think it is too odd. People I know have had their fathers in the delivery room. Not something I'd want but doesn't mean they don't have morals or are not modest. They probably view birth differently than you.

Maybe i used the wrong word, morals, I just wouldn't have felt good about my father being in the delivery room and seeing all that private stuff. If he just came in when i was covered up to cut the cord that would be different.

People did this article shortly after the news of Caylee's disappearance. If People paid, they would have had the money last week to bail Casey out.

George didn't even get free copies to hand out as he had to go to another town to by the magazine himself.
