With all due respect, I don't see what cutting the umbilical cord has to do with morals??:waitasec:

Just very very strange.

GEORGE CUT THE CORD???? JMO - but eeeewwww. I could see mama or maybe even Jesse - but daddy? My hubby was right there - almost passed out as my youngest reached out and pulled down - lol - but even he didn't cut the cord the doc did. Now I think that is just downright strange. As far as Casey not being the first to hold her - I did both mine without drugs AT ALL - that is until the baby was out - then I wouldn't let even the doc touch me without that demerol-lol- that's why after they cleaned up the baby they gave her to hubby and told him to be careful when handing her to me because by that time the drugs had kicked in and I was almost singing - lol. They had people on either side of me once I got her because of that too.

Anyone else?

I'm with you.... I love my father dearly but the delivery room is one place I wouldn't want him.

I just don't get the whole 'family get together' thing at births.... but I guess some people want to share the experience with everyone.

I'm pretty sure my husband held my son before I did. To tell the truth, I was in no condition to pay attention to what anybody else was doing or saying by the time it was over. Elvis could have been in the room & I wouldn't have known.

People did this article shortly after the news of Caylee's disappearance. If People paid, they would have had the money last week to bail Casey out.

George didn't even get free copies to hand out as he had to go to another town to by the magazine himself.

Thank you Patty G. So much to follow, I missed that earlier. :blowkiss:

I understand what you are saying. It must be a double whammy they may have lost their daughter and their granddaughter.

WHAT I DON'T UNDERSTAND is their constantly lying. Saying one thing, then either flat out denying they said it or trying to make excuses for what they said.
It show's a pattern of lying.

Thier minds are probably spinning, they are most likely tired and not getting rest, who knows?? I am not making excuses for anyone I am just trying to imagine (and it hurts to do that!) being in thier shoes for a few moments kwim?

Yes to me it was Jesse and I feel that It was his father the Rev in the red shirt. I am wondering what made them do a paternity test that proved that Caylee was not Jesse's.

The Anthony's don't appear to be a real traditional family.

You kind of are insinuating something ;)

No. I don't think it is too odd. People I know have had their fathers in the delivery room. Not something I'd want but doesn't mean they don't have morals or are not modest. They probably view birth differently than you.

No, I am not insinuating anything. I don't believe there is anything at all sexual between Casey and her father. I've stated this in the many posts and conversations on this very subject days ago. I just personally find that my gag reflex is alive and well when thinking of my own father being in the delivery room, especially cutting the umbilical cord. It's a matter of personal opinion and my own modesty. I view birth as a moment of unbelievable beauty... bringing a child into the world. My daughter's first breath was captured on camera and I cherish that with my life. My grandson's first breath as well.

Does anyone know the timeframe that Jesse took the paternity test?

On a related note, I just thought how un-private (not really a word) young adults lives seem in the present time. Cameras in the labor/delivery room, webshots, myspace, youtube, etc. With all the online photos being discovered of Caylee/Casey it seems that their lives were shared in full view of the world. So how does that child go missing for possibly 31 days unnoticed?

THAT'S the $64,000 question and no, Cindy, you are not allowed to answer.

The key word here is "reputable" magazine.

If they were paid (a lot) I doubt they'd be complaining about the article.

It's possible she didn't know she was pregnant. Not that I believe that's when those pictures were from, but a point worth mentioning.

I could be wrong but I believe.. George meant only the pic of her throwing up was when she was prego... ??

Everything within the crime scene smells just like the body itself. Even a 19 day old rotting pizza smells just like the dead body.

Even metallic items of evidence smell like the dead body.

my response:

I know...in a closed crime scene. Others were wondering why other people didn't notice the smell outside the car. Do you have any ideas about that?

Approximately 2 yrs ago there was vicious murder 2 mi from my home. It was in a cabin along the river. Guy stabbed his gf to death, he claimed self defense, he was stabbed too / but lived. He is in the pen for life.

LE went in & it looked like a massacre / veteran LE was outside ill from the smell.

The owners called special cleaners to go in & clean the mess up to the tune of 20 grand. Its still empty today people claim it still has the death smell in it. People have tried to sell it to no avail, have had it up for rent. Can't give it away....not sure if this helps or not

You were insinuating that they had no morals because the father was in the delivery room. Which is why I bolded that statement.

George was referring to the pic of Casey holding her hands to her breast, in the red shirt.

Does anyone know the timeframe that Jesse took the paternity test?

maybe looking back at those myspace entries of when Casey and Jesse broke up hold that answer..
When was the engagement called off?
This could have been the reason for the split...especially if he hadnt known Casey to be with anyone else around the time of conception

I'm only guessing that it was close to her being a year old. the Reverend mentioned that they watched Caylee quite often for the first year of her life.
