If they were paid (a lot) I doubt they'd be complaining about the article.
jmo

Which tells me they signed off on any input on the story.
WHY if not paid....
They get paid after the story is published, not before.
IMO

FWIW, I think this will be answered if the Anthony's suddenly have enough funds to bail Casey out of jail. Because of that I pray People did NOT pay for the interview.

I do NOT believe the family is still trying to BAIL her out. I believe they tell her that to keep her "talking" although its not working she has asked for NO visitors except for them, so she hasnt shut them out, yet! I think they just keep telling her they are trying... I think if they wanted her out, she would be out by now... JMO. They know dead or alive they are better with Casey in jail...again JMO..

My guess is they broke up or were not getting along and Jesse or his parents wanted to know for sure what his obligations were as far as child support so he had DNA testing. Thats just my opinion.

Yes to me it was Jesse and I feel that It was his father the Rev in the red shirt. I am wondering what made them do a paternity test that proved that Caylee was not Jesse's.

Does anyone know the timeframe that Jesse took the paternity test?

More than likely around the time Casey started telling people that Caylee's father died in a car accident on his way to Casey's birthday party. Of course, we all know this person died the first week of May 2007 and Casey's birthday is in March.

When I look at it, May of 2007 there was a person that died, of which we all know his name, and this may have been when Casey started adding another lie to her "resume of lies". Jesse may have overheard it and then he went for a DNA test.

Jesse and his family babysat Caylee off and on within that first year or so ....

I don't think it was ever mentioned.

It would be nice to know when they found the results of the paternity test- what if it happened recently and the devastation somehow precipated Casey's actions toward Caylee?

/offtopic- Curiousitycat- I love your signature line.

Yeah, maybe when Jesus died Casey took that as an opportunity to tell people he was the father to garner sympathy and put herself in the spotlight. She was a drama queen. A very low thing to do, but I could see her doing it.

I agree. Good post.

I'm only guessing that it was close to her being a year old. the Reverend mentioned that they watched Caylee quite often for the first year of her life.

If you go back through her older myspace comments you read about waiting to give birth... then messages about how beautiful Caylee is... then congratulations joining the engaged club.... then after awhile... some guy saying best date ever... nothing really mentions the break up.

My computer is acting up, so I can load a big page like myspace now.. but they're there and would give you a better idea on timing.

I live in Florida and my trash is picked up every Tuesday and Friday. It's possible the Anthony's might have the same trash days.

Let's assume the household trash was already picked up by the garbage company in the AM on the 15th before they brought home the car from the towing company. (Normally trash is picken up quite early in the day.)

They found the "bag of pizza" in the car on July 15th and toss ed it in the trash can while adding additional household trash from Tuesday evening forward. I think the car was towed on the 17th, but don't hold me to it. This is why the trash that "housed" the pizza was still available for the police to view, take etc. The next trash day was Friday, July 18th.

You would be surprised what you would find in household trash that sits in a trash container in the Florida's heat. And if they stored their trash containers in a shed ... well then it is even worse.

Forgive me (I'm trying to keep up)...LOL...& I'm in the TX heat.

What day did Cindy *claim* it was trash, complete w /maggots ??

I think Casey told Jesse that he was the father and he and his family believed it. Why else would there be this massive amount of pictorial evidence showing Jessie, his mom and dad behaving like Caylee's dad/grandparents?

The more I have learned about Casey, this scenario fits in very nicely!

I really think that JG thought Caylee was his at first. The Rev said that they did the paternity test and it was 0 probability.

I think Casey really thought so too. I'm curious about dates - when the paternity test results came in, when their engagement was called off. In the pics taken early on in Caylee's life, you can feel Casey's love for, and sense of wonder with that little girl. I think that if there was a huge shift in Casey's behavior, it started around the time the paternity test came back & the engagement was called off.

I know it was around the one year point when the PT was done. There are a decent amount of pics of Caylee as an infant, and then as a 1 year old, but we don't really see a ton of pics from the first or second year, especially with the two of them. The ones where the two of them are sitting on the couch, Casey just seems... flat to me. I'd like to see more later pics of the two together to see if that spark from the early ones is still present

Did anyone see the photo of Casey Nursing little Caylee in the Hospital after she was born? It's among the new photos fellow sluther Hart posted in the Photos section. http://www.picturetrail.com/sfx/album/view/10275656/179580043

I like many of you can't get past the death smell that the dogs hit on, but there has been mention that Casey had not bonded with Caylee early on. Now that I see this picture I find that really hard to believe. I nursed only 1 of my 4 children and I can tell you the bond with him was much stronger, much earlier due to the breastfeeding. I'm not buying the lack of bonding theory.

I agree -- when I look at these photos I see what appears to be a mom who genuinely adores her baby girl. It is downright freaky to reconcile these photos with the Casey of today. Weird!! This is definitely one for the psychology textbooks!

It had to be after they released the third 911 call. Once the info about the car smell was heard on the 911 call, then the media hit real hard on the Anthony's and "up pops" the pizza theory.

Exactly, that is true sociopathic behaviour, she just has no clue what kind of pain this is inflicting on others. People are just diposable to someone with that mind set. I also agree with you I don't believe thay are born that way I think it is due to something in childhood!

my daughter said my mother thinks people are disposable and my mom for sure has mental health issues

Yes but is there other independent corroboration of that test being done?
