Hi everybody!

Quick question --> does anyone know if LE is able to consult a psycho-therapist or pyschiatrist to try to get things out of Casey? You know, work with her (in her whacked out mind) but really against her kind of thing? I'm sure Casey is so different then their "typical" type of inmate that they interrogate.

I'm thinking surely so... but wanted to see what you guys thought. :waitasec:

IMO, the only chance that would work is if Casey does not get out of jail in a couple of weeks.

There's no doubt in my mind that she's feeling more & more empowered knowing that she can walk so soon.... easy to keep up the silence. Just hold out a little longer....

If LE throws a brand new warrant at her moments before springing her from jail.... that COULD shake her up.... bad! And it might shake up her parents enough to get THEM to stop making dopey comments.

LE has not said word one about the father. Cindy said at the bond hearing she thought it was Jesse. Jesse says he did paternity test and he is not the father. Casey has been promulgating that the father is dead -- Jesus. That is all and everything we know about the father.

Just to be clear, Jesus was loosely linked by some here. Jesus has never been named by family or LE.

This has to be the strangest case that I have ever followed and that's the honest-to-God's truth. I have never encountered people such as these in my life. Your granddaughter is missing and most likely it's your daughter that is involved, yet you continually lie or make excuses for her behavior. It's sickening. Everytime I read or watch another comment by this family, it makes me want to bash the TV. According to them, the pictures of Casey partying were actually pictures of when Casey was pregnant; the decomposing body smell in the car was actually a pizza that was rotten; and the list goes on and on. No wonder Casey turned out to be a skilled liar herself because it sure seems as if she came by it honestly. JMHO!

Xanax is one of the drugs that is being traded right now like crazy on the club scene. It's called "Xanbars," and they're easy to find on the street or in clubs.

it wouldn't shock me at all, if Casey had partied with xanax, weed, along with alcohol...maybe a lil' coke here & there.....i WOULD be shocked if it was proven that she sedated Caylee with drugs though....

With that said, has LE considered attempting to get Tony to get through to her? It's possible he wants to stay far away from her now that all of this has come down, but since he seems to be all she cares about (in her ME ME ME way) is it possible he could play the "I'll love you forever and stick by you no matter what if you just tell me the truth" role? It might not work but is it worth trying to "manipulate the manipulator"?

Can't really know what LE has considered or what they are doing behind the scenes..but that would be worth a try and maybe they have...

I do wonder if there have been calls from Casey to Tony. We know she got the number..whether he accepted them or not is a different story.
There was some speculation from the defense that Lee sounded like an agent of the state and some people on here also felt, because of the questions he was asking, LE was right there beside him...

Something that stands out to me was Lee on the stand at the bond hearing..He was quite adament if he has time with Casey he could get her to talk...Part of me believes that may be true...

Hi All!

Been "lurking" quite a while, and I've read most of the general discussion threads (as daunting as that has been!). I must admit I am like many of you - my house is a mess and nothing has been accomplished away from this computer since I started following this story. Thank goodness my babies are on a visit to their grandparents house this week (and yes, I've spoken to them on the phone - lol!)

You guys are great! Lots of insightful posts here. My thinking is in line with most of what I see here - Casey is a big liar, and her mom is a big enabler. I think George is just all in a mess (thus saying and doing stupid things himself) from having dealt with these two whack-job women for so long. I especially agree with the poster(s) that pointed out Casey is a total co-dependent and all she cares about is the attention of a man. With that said, has LE considered attempting to get Tony to get through to her? It's possible he wants to stay far away from her now that all of this has come down, but since he seems to be all she cares about (in her ME ME ME way) is it possible he could play the "I'll love you forever and stick by you no matter what if you just tell me the truth" role? I have another question. Are the cadaver dogs capable of hitting on anything having to do with the pool? It's always been in the back of my mind that maybe something happened to sweet Caylee in the pool - accidental or otherwise. Can forensics test the pool water? I remember reading about the ladder being put away, or not being put away, but I don't remember seeing anything further than that.

i think Cindy was ALL over Casey's back to find a job, be responsible, stop partying, take care of your child, etc......

I am a mom that is on her kid's backs ALL THE TIME, and I just don't see this with Cindy, I think Cindy has convinced herself and her daughter that EVERYTHING is someone else's fault, as a mom that is always on my kids back I ALWAYS assume they have done the worst until they convince me of otherwise and Cindy seems to be the exact opposite, I RESPECT them sticking by Casey but how about just saying no comment instead of being misleading...I think part of MP's problem is she doesn't understand consequences

I don't quite see what the big hype is about Xanax..... my doctor gave me some to take when I feel "stressed" at work. It doesn't do ANYTHING for me, so why take it?

Tonight at 5pm when I left my house (after the car sitting in the driveway for 2 hours) the dashboard temp said 107 degrees. It "cooled down" after a few minutes on the road to 99 degrees. I hope with all my heart Caylee is cool and kept somewhere comfortable. As for the rest - the poor sweaty guy is stinking up cars all over central florida.

The lives of three UCF students were changed forever May 8 when a violent car crash on Alafaya Trail left one student dead and sent two to the hospital.

Jesus Ortiz, a business major, died in the crash.

Ortiz left Boardwalk Apartments driving a 1999 Honda Accord. His girlfriend Sarah Rogers, a Student Government Association senator and president of the Society of Women Engineers, was in the passenger seat.

Seth Merle was heading north on Alafaya Trail in a 2007 Mazda. Ortiz turned right onto Alafaya Trail to go north and pulled in front of Merle's Mazda.

Merle swerved to try and avoid the impact but hit the driver's side.

The violent impact of metal and glass crushed the driver's side of the Accord nearly into the passenger seat and sent both vehicles spinning into the southbound lanes.
