The most telling thing I have heard was the story of a neighbor who said she saw Casey walking a dog, once a long while ago. The dog messed on her yard and she said something to Casey. Casey looked at her and said "It's not my dog." as she stood there with the lead in her hand.
This is how she learned to operate. She learned it IMO from her mother at an early age.

IIRC she berated Cindy, demanded info from Christina, then placated her when Christina began to get emotional, and she sweet talked Lee. I get the feeling by listening to her interact with her family that she is used to being in control.

It must be killing her that she is in a situation over which she has no control, sitting alone in her jail cell with her bible and news videos that show how much she is despised and disbelieved. Hope she got a "few laughs".

The only thing Casey controls now is her mouth, and LE is negating the only power remaining to her - the knowledge of what actually happened - by simply working around her.

I think whatever tears she cried today with dad were out of frustration.

I believe they realize the gravity of this situation far more than Casey seems to. I also believe that LE told them under no circumstances to discuss it with the media or anyone else.

I think Cindy got to all of them early on...or just maybe they have very smart parents who told them not to get involved.

If George thought that Casey may have ran over something, does that mean he smelled blood? Unless some animal was caught in the undercarriage of the vehicle, I don't see how the smell would be that overpowering. I'm actually feeling a little nauseated after seeing that, and realizing the lengths these people are going to protect Casey.

ITA, for a former LE officer, he made a fool of himself today. Also if I hear one more time about the pizza experiment I will scream.

I have an experiment for the grandparents, try putting a pizza in the trunk with a body and let me know if you produce the same smell.

That was mean, but I am tired, and I hate that they keep smiling, maybe that will wipe the smirks off their faces.

I'm just addressing her logic for requesting the FBI...it had nothing to do with her actually telling the truth IMO. Baez would be smart not to let her speak to them...you don't fib to the FBI.

Exactly, but she was telling Lee that she wanted to speak to the FBI. I completely agree that Baez shouldn't have let her. But, if you look at her thought process, you will see that something is not right. Why would she ASK for the FBI then not talk? She was attempting to manipulate someone there, but when they were called in, she didn't get what she wanted, so she wouldn't speak.

LE would have told them that, its an ongoing investigation. Wonder when it changed to a death investigation or has it? What's this about running over something per George what have I missed?

Personally, and I know it was late, if I had just found out my grandaughter was missing I would have marched my butt over to "Zanny's" apartment complex and knocked on a lot of doors!!

Personally, and I know it was late, if I had just found out my grandaughter was missing I would have marched my butt over to "Zanny's" apartment complex and knocked on a lot of doors!!

Personally I would have knocked the living day lights out of my adult child after I tortured them mentally.

I'm with you...there's something definitely wrong with her thought processes, but she still needed to maintain some credibility with her brother IMO. There is no sense to any of this.

To me, this is another situation which involves Cindy directly and says she was not that upset over Caylee being missing on that call. Were they deleting posts, pms, emails, etc.? WHY would you be on myspace at a time like that?! My computer would be the LAST thing on my mind if I just found out my grandchild was missing and possibly kidnapped or dead! I would be freaking out. Screaming, crying, and on the phone to anyone who I thought would rush right over to start searching immediately! I would be calling ALL of my family (where are the relatives, btw?), my friends, my church, my daughter's friends, my husband's friends, and my neighbors!! NOT on myspace!!

I think she was asking for the FBI because Casey thinks she is living in her own reality show. I think it was more of a "get the FBI, I am important and I am not going to talk to local LE, I am somebody. Screw the keystone cops, this is too big for them."

I went back to his MySpace and still that weird message appears to get in touch if he has info. It was also accessed recently which leads me to believe that he's around. But, why not take off that message?
