Maybe I should have just kept my letter to Padilla and his response to myself.

Does that mean a telemarketer has Caylee,or does Zanny the Nanny work as a telemarketer? LOL

I'm sorry, this made me LOL and stuff.

I needed a laugh, thank you.

I found out the number that called me is a stupid telemarketing autodialer.
http://www.wftv.com/9wantstoknow/16980411/detail.html

The donated billboard and donations from an exotic car dealer of $200,000 for a reward leading to Caylee's safe return are the work of The Never Lose Hope Foundation. It registered as a corporation in Florida just a year ago.

Even though they also run Florida's Telemarketers' Assocation, they say they're not using their phone banks to raise charity donations at this point. The foundation's website says its IRS charitable status is still pending and its president admits he has not applied with the State Division of Consumer Services for a license to solicit funds from the public.

"Are you not walking a fine line legally calling yourself a charity, yet you really don't have the status yet?" WFTV reporter Robert Maxwell asked Rivera.

After Eyewitness News started asking questions, the state is planning to send a letter Never Lose Hope Foundation asking what its plans are for public fundraising. Rivera hopes to have the foundation's IRS charity status confirmed within eight weeks.

I think with the cadaver dogs hitting in the backyard and the car, we can assume a dead body was at these places at one time. Logically, a search should start from there, and from where the car was abandoned? Casey doesn't look like a rocket scientist when it comes to covering her tracks, the body could have been dumped very close to home, or to the car.

LE has stated that searches are going on and they will not publicly release where.

I wonder if anyone would consider petitioning for "Caylee's Law" making it a felony for failure to report a minor child missing within the first X number of hours?

I am with you on this one. 100% for "Caylee's Law"

The type of searches where there is no starting point usually end up fruitless. Bottom line. And I will repeat what I've said before. If people don't like the fact that there are not any huge public searches going on, then do something. Christine has a thread for this. And organizing a search should not be a no brainer for the Anthony family. George is former LE after all. This family has an advantage right there that most people of missing persons don't have.

To add to Suzy's point, it is as easy as making a phone call to TES..
they have a 24 hour answering service and will begin immediately upon verification with LE as the the MP case number as I have posted before adnauseum. I have volunteered to make this intro personally, with no response from the family- soooo..
Important point, TES has in some case, worked on cases where someone was found alive, there is no "presumption of death" necessary

First:
That video with Cindy telling everyone to get off their arses---when she ends her speel with "God knows....." the look on Lee's face, his eyes at that exact moment looks like "MOM, Why did you reveal that!!!!"
As if in Cindy's world (however she worships) God has listened to everything Casey has told her parents/Lee and 'KNOWS' what's going on.
I know I'm not making an ounce of sense but I hope someone can put into words what I obviously cannot.

Second:
We are supposed to get off our arses and start searching.
Why search when the family 'KNOWS' that Caylee is alive, well, close.
It's just a matter of Casey telling them 'where'.
Nothing we can do if the child is safe and with a known person but wait for Casey to reveal where.

Third:
As much as it pains me to type this in a public forum, I'm going to if only to see if someone/many someones can find some kind of history.

I have 5 children, all adults now and all productive members of society.
They have scruples, respect for humans and animals, values, priorities, are loving, generous to a fault and just all around good young adults.....
'Cept ONE!
I've beat myself over the head laying in bed many nights wondering where did I go wrong, what did I do wrong to have this one child turn out so, so different than the others.
What I mean is the need for drama to get attention.

Since elementry school my child has always had to have some form of drama in her life.
Not imaginary drama.... an actual crisis.
It wasn't until she was in her late teens that me and my husband had that lightbulb moment.

As soon as things would get too quiet, up would come a new drama, new crisis for daughter.

Things got quiet for too long and she up and let herself get pregnant.
As soon as the novelty wore off of the pregnancy and the hoop-la from us and extended family and friends wore off and she realized she didn't much like being 8 months pregnant in the mid of summer in 100+ weather, you guessed it, a new crisis.

Our precious grandson was born and as soon as the novelty wore off of the new baby and the people stopped coming over with gifts and attention, yet another crisis.
It's been like this for as long as I remember but not knowing any better, not 'seeing' that these dramas could have been avoided by daughter, I was blindsided by the latest "Daugher's Crisis Du Jour" (as we've termed it...anything to lighten the load around here *smile*).

Does anyone know, can it be found out what Casey's history of drama/crisis is?

From all I've read about Casey's lies, I'll bet you dimes to donuts that she has always needed drama in her life when things are too quiet, when the focus isn't on her.
(didn't graduate, by a couple points= drama, especially in a family where impression is everything. pregnant=drama, again, especially in a family where image seems to be everything)
How much more drama has there been in her life that she could have done something to avoid but would rather the drama be there because then the complete focus is on her?
Through the years I bet those parents have endured calm, drama, calm, crisis, calm, drama, and on and on and on.

Like me and my husband, up until our daughter's last year in high school we just figured she was the more emotional of the five kids, the one that needed that extra bit of love, that extra bit of attention.
Little did we know that this is a pattern with certain mental issues/illnesses (as we found out too late from several therapists/psychiatrists.

We can't get daughter to change, to seek help, to make better choices but now we have learned how to react to her 'crisis du jour' in ways that are so much better for our own mental health.
If only we had known earlyon, would have saved us a lot of headaches and heartaches.

Wish I could articulate better but hopefully some here will understand what I'm trying to say/type.

Thank you for reading.

Where the professional searchers?

More than likely, getting little cooperation from the family and Casey....which is the same reason that LE hasn't held a grid search.

You heard right! one lie after another! How much more complicated can this case get!?
Fox also just reported "that in fairness we need to say that the GF of Caylee says the pictures were taken before Caylee went missing'

Fox needs to check the facts. They were the ones who had the photographers on last week that said they knew for sure when the pictures were taken and in addition they are date stamped.

OK -- so looking at past posts, I noticed this:
__________________________________________
This is a Zanny Gonzalez in Orlando.
www.myspace.com/sexy_69_goldy
She has two emails listed near her picture. One is connected to this account([email protected]). The other ([email protected]) is connected to an account with a different name and age. But I can't read spanish, so I dont know what the profile says.
www.myspace.com/204957821
I found it interesting one seems to be a fake profile.
One's URL is sexygoldy, the others email is sexygoldy.

________________________________________________

I had found that page as well. If you look at the second profile described in the above post, for a Zanny Gonzalez in Orlando, it links to a 18 girl in Puerto Rico. She has 1 friend, named Tom, from California. I knew I had seen him before. He's ALSO a friend of Casey's, on her myspace page -- shows up on the direct link.

NOW, maybe I'm imagining things, but doesn't that seem huge? A link between Casey and an actual Zanny Gonzales in Orlando?!?

What does 'en tu red ampliada' mean?

In: Spanish to English
[Edit]

It is Spanish for in your extended network

----

FYI: Tom is automatically added to ALL MySpace accounts & some people just leave him as a friend & most delete him.

I am with you on this one. 100% for "Caylee's Law"

Wouldn't that already be considered child endangerment or neglect? Isn't that what Casey is already sitting in jail for?

The down side I believe is for traction for something like this you need the family to stand up for it. The families voice really drives a campaign like that. This family has no desire to see a law like that.

Natalee Holloway disappeared within a window of about 7 hours on a tiny island. I don't see the comparisson between this case, with a 31 day window in a huge country where hundreds of miles could be driven in the space of a few hours.

I respectfully submit that without evidence on which to base a search its a waste of time and effort. And, they never found Natalee Holloway, despite all the searching that was done.

Well, if I ever go missing, or a loved one of mine goes missing...please don't be offended if I'm hoping you're not leading the search party ;)

Okay, I'm ribbing you...But seriously...They could use the house as a starting point. That makes total sense. Also Jay Blanchard park.

I understand what you guys are saying, but I think it makes NO sense not have someone searching. I mean...how else would you find a missing person? I agree that investigation is a good way, but I think that at least visiting the areas and looking are good ideas. The Natalee Holloway case is a moot point really, because maybe they COULD have found her. It just happened that they didn't. I just don't really understand that point that was made...but i'm on my first cup of coffee, so I might be misunderstanding you.

But I personally believe that LE has been conducting minor searches, and maybe they weren't made public because they believed they were looking for a body, and didn't want the public discovering/possibly tampering, etc to compromise their case.

Hi all! Wanted to let you know I was out on Sat and there seemed to be a search going on for Caylee. It was around the Dean Rd area close to Blanchard Park. I would say there were about 12 people wearing Caylee shirts searching close to one of the paths.

Didn't TexasEquuSearch do the majority of that searching for Natalee? Because the family requested their help? Wasn't someone saying that recently that these non-profit organizations have to be asked to help first?

Also, shouldn't it be considered that she isn't likely to have gone far if she had to steal gas from her parent's gas cans to get somewhere to begin with? On more than one occasion. It's not like she had endless funds to fill up. Not to mention that the further she goes, the more likely someone would have seen her.

I wish we had some concrete answers as to if they are searching and if not, why? I really think if they were out there searching, the media would be ALL over it. Don't y'all?

Padilla is PR man for the OSD, right? He's just doing his job, which is to release information he is given to release and not to release information if it could jeopardize the investigation. It is very likely even he doesn't know as much as lead investigators know.

LE has stated that searches are going on and they will not publicly release where.

I believe this is true, and if the media were to park their vans at any areas where they think it a possibility she might be, I bet they would be spotted. Orange County Landfill meeting with the engineering staff maybe?

You heard right! one lie after another! How much more complicated can this case get!?

I thought it was Jessie Grubbs who said he was mistaken and may have not heard Caylee on the phone???? This case is strange and confusing. What do you guys make of the grandparents being intereviewed by LE again today?? Maybe to share some preliminary results of the evidence?

"ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. -- Cindy and George Anthony, grandparents of missing 2-year-old Caylee Anthony, had a meeting with investigators from the Orange County Sheriff's Office Monday.

This marks their second meeting with police since Friday when crime scene investigators revisited their home, removing items in large bags."

I, too, have really wondered why no searches. Living in So Fla for that past 40 years, I vividly remember the Adam Walsh case. I even helped search. He went missing from a Sears Dept store. He was considered kidnapped. The theory about minutes and miles - yet we searched. It was not known if we were searching for a live child or a "body". Yet searches were conducted - ALL OVER THIS PLACE. I remember the day they found "him". I remember crying. I remember being exhausted coming in after walking through woods, marsh, swamp all day. I just don't understand why no one is looking.

The only thing I can come up with is that LE has info we don't - maybe phone records have put her in Tampa, JAX, or even further - and maybe there are "covert" searches being done in those places. Casey's cryptic "she's close to home, she's close" would, or should, at least, signal maybe the wooded areas near the house. Or near where the car was left. She's also mentioned Blanchard Park - why not walk through there?

LE has said "searches" are being done - but with all the media up there - no one has noticed any? Thus my thoughts about "further away".

I just don't get it.
