I tend to lean towards this theory (on and off - on right now) of Zanny the Nanny being Xanax. I don't know how long it would take for it to clear the body well enough to not show in a drug test, but surely it would still be easy to detect if little Caylee (hate to say this) died with it in her system. I don't think she would have shown signs of having been given the drug any time other than when she was directly under the influence of it. I know someone who has a little dog that freaks during thunderstorms and the vet actually prescribed Xanax for the dog! It puts the dog to sleep during the storm, but once she wakes up you can't that she's ever taken anything. Strange story, I know. But I'm just pointing out that if even veternarians use Xanax to induce sleep in a dog, it would be very easy for a mother to use it to force the child to sleep - making Zanny the "nanny". It also shows how easy it is to get Xanax; just take your dog to the vet and tell them she scared of storms. CRAZY!!
My Collie takes Xanax for fireworks. My vet gave me 60 of them.
