Hello I am new here but have been reading posts for quite awhile. You all seem to have some very good ideas. Does anyone think it is odd that Casey seems almost preoccupied with Universal? Lied about working there, one of the last places she remembers having her phone, non existant boss and friends?

Universal is very popular with that age group up there. There is a whole lot to do - lots of club and nightlife with City Walk and there is a huge movie theater there as well - not just the parks.

I think it's because she did work there a few years back and just continued on with Universal in her lies.

I think Casey wanted to look responsible and well-off. I'm guessing everyone thought she'd worked there for a long while (even her parents!). Even her title of "event coordinator" seems higher up than some random Universal worker (could be wrong though... I don't know much about Universal). She was so special that she didn't even have to leave her boyfriends house to work, she could do it from his computer.

I think Casey told LE all about Universal (jobs/co-workers/boss/etc) because she lies so much and everyone believes her -- or atleast they don't confront her on it. Casey probably NEVER thought LE would actually take her to Universal and walk her thru the gates. That's why she kept up the lie for a while until she knew she was busted.

Now if we could just get to break about where Caylee is...

I took it to be that the Oveido was an old address or one they had planned but it fell through or something. IIRC Amy was needing to forward mail from Oveido to the new addy on Glenwood..or somehow she didn't have access to the Oveido mailbox to forward.

Anyhow seemed an odd question to me, just go to post office, no? Or PO online to change addy

That must have been one of those clues she keeps giving out. I think someone awhile back posted that Casey was trying to convince Lee that she was there searching for Caylee or hoping to see someone.

Bingo! That's why I posted that I felt and still do that it is my duty to report crimes. It is drilled into you. You take your responsibilities seriously. It doesn't end just because your shift is over.

I'm glad it's not just me.

I have run across the whole "Not my problem, I'm not on duty" attitude many times in my life and it never ceases to amaze me. I think it's those kinds of people that necessitated mandatory reporting in the first place.

We shouldn't need a law to force people to report child abuse, but sadly there are many people who for reasons known only to them feel that being an advocate for children is a part time job or not their problem at all.

If we were all more vigilant I think our little ones would all be much safer.

Things are definitely getting better, but we still have such a long way to go.

Universal has thousands of employees - who knows what Casey thought she was. You don't see offices. I mean there is a Customer Relations office - and the hotels have offices - the hotels are more resorts than hotels - there are 3 on the grounds. The place is HUGE!

At the end of Greta tonite one of the attorney said that the Glenwood address was found in Casey's car. I hadn't heard this before. Does anyone know who found it?

I think that's where our initial confusion was with Amy's address. GM reported that she found the info in the car...but it obviouslly was on some OTHER paper 'cause the Glenwood address I guess is bogus in the scheme of things...some other place to look for Caylee. Sorry if this has been answered.

ETA: and I heard it on Greta just tonight...didn't know that it wasn't Amy's address

Who knows - yes they do 4th of July events and huge concerts. Plus Universal is also a working movie studio - they have sound stages and backlots - they still film some of their moives there. Maybe that's why she said she worked there - she figured there are just so many employees, LE would just take her word for it.
