What if she wasn't there? What if she left when Caylee was sleeping... ran out for a few minutes....

I don't know the law, but that would have probably been manslaughter maybe?

I think Baez is over his head with Casey...

yeah that was going to be my response too. i say "ill give you a buzz later" at least 10 times/day. and i definitely dont mean lets meet up for coffee and/or hard narcotics. but, again, casey is a moron and i dont put anything past her.

I wouldn't really put it past her, either. Just like Zanny is also the nickname for Xanax. Coincidence? Does Zanny the Nanny have to be a literal person or does Casey potentially think more outside of the box than that?

Just saw the photos of the car they pulled from the pond ... any more information on that? There was a car seat in the back ...

Was it a ford focus ?

ok...if anyone is interested....in the press conf. with Lee this morning.....on the links thread....he says he turned over the e-mail to LE. A printed copy that was given to him from a source who he doesn't want to name. And, as to it being fake or not real or whatever, he wants to hear that from LE, not the media.

He has a lot to say. Mostly, he contradicts everything the detectives are saying....

Oh dear, that's distressing.

[/I]"One more thing, in a jail house call with Lee, she says she was at Universal but not for work/not for fun. Lee says, ok, gotcha. Any thoughts on this?[/I]

I have wondered about his too. IMO I think a possible drug delivery

Wouldn't there have been physical signs though, such as swollen eyes, nervousness etc.? And it would have shown when she had visitors and phone calls that were shown on tv, don't you think?

only very addictive drugs. Usually marijuana and some prescribed pills won't have very many visible "effects".

A few minutes ago on Fox National they said that "several" cars had been found during the dive but that none were related to Caylee's disappearance. Previously I had heard 2 cars were found, so I don't know which is the correct number, but what a crazy find in such a small area!

I posted this very early on, a few times, I would assume Baez is working on a pre- agreed upon percentage of "exclusive rights" to a possible book, tv, or movie deal, this is very common in high profile cases and frankly, can end up in pro bono for him in the end. Notoriety in the legal profession unless it is your own indiscression, is never a bad thing.

Exactly what I think. Same deal that Amber Frey gave her attorney.
IMO

The problem is that there is nothing that can be said about Caylee that doesn't lead directly back to her mother. Because her mother is in jail and uncommunicative, it's her family who has put themselves out in front of the media and are taking the resulting scrutiny.

What can you say about Caylee?
* Her mother dropped her off with a person who cannot be found, does not appear to exist, cannot be physically identified by a composite drawing, has no license plate number to be checked, and whose location is unknown.

However, that wouldn't necessarily prevent searches from being conducted. Assume for a minute that Casey took off for parts unknown in order to avoid arrest, and is now in a country with no US extradition. The search for Caylee would have to proceed without her.

How would LE go forward in that scenario?

With absolutely no indication of where to begin a search. LE would not spend time and resouces conducting one. It's as simple as that. If a credible tip or information is presented as to Caylee's whereabouts, I'm sure not only LE, but also Caylee's family and probably half the state of Florida will jump right on it.

You say the family has "put themselves" in front of the media, what would you be saying if they refused to do interviews or talk to reporters? And..what does Cindy's hairstyle have to do with finding Caylee? How does George's eyebrows incriminate him? I totally understand Cindy's frustrations, she didn't ask for any of this.

excellent point! If Casey were planning on having Caylee with her, would she not have had clothes for her too?

3 duffle bags with Caylee and Casey's clothes. On video WSEH

I cant really buy into the whole thing about Media only concentrating on Casey thing. LE and Media are only concentrating on Casey because:

Casey:

Didnt report her daughter missing for 31 days
Even after 31 days Cindy Anthony had to report her missing
The trunk of her car smells like human decomposition
Hair like Caylees in the trunk
Stain that showed under Luminol in the trunk
boldly walked detectives through Universal to an office she didn't work in
Cannot produce her Child
Cannot produce her "Nanny"
was photographed partying in clubs after Caylee disappeared
borrowed a shovel
backed her car up to the garage
abandoned her car
told Tony her father was going to pick it up
stole gas cans from her family and lied to their face about it.
refused to tell ONE person where Caylee may or may not be.

THAT is why everyone : media and LE is just focusing on Caylee.

I know they said this was a prescheduled "training" exercise but I gotta wonder--do they rotate ponds or something? I've done drills and we've never scheduled them monthly ever. It was maybe twice a year. I don't think this was a coinkydink and I hope Casey sweats over the weekend.

Where would you have had people search after day 1 or 2?

I don't know if you see my couple of past posts. I said exactly that it is impossible to choose a random area to start searching, I don't think the grandparents could do that or volunteers could do that. Start searching from where?

Regarding my above reply, I was trying to say that police was running after a ghost nanny, a mother says her child was abducted by a nanny, the police has to check it out. With all the lies and false information given to the police now after the first couple of days they have to reconstruct a timeline of where the child was in order to start looking for her. Could the grandparents do that? I don't think so since they were being told by Casey the nanny has her and the police are not believing me and they are putting Caylee in danger. :liar:

Could the grandparents and friends organize a search of nearby fields and water areas? They could. But with what excuse? Why that field and that water area? Why not the one on the other street? What I mean they had no lead to do this or do that. But the grandparents at that moment were still believing or hoping that their daughter was telling the truth about the nanny? The only reason they had to start looking close to their home was when they found out that no nanny existed, no valid information of the child's whereabouts existed, so if they had to start from somewhere they were going to start from the nearby fields and rivers/lakes. And this is what the police is doing right now actually. Since they have no valid information from Casey they are cheacking nearby areas just in case.

Maybe that's where people dump their "stolen" cars?

They found three cars today and stated that none had anything to do with the case.
