I keep hearing a lot about how dumb Casey is and I have to disagree. She seems the master at playing head games with just about anyone. This whole story she's weaved was clever and it's taking tons and tons of people to start to unravel the web. Casey's a master manipulator and her mom's the typical codependent type that thinks she can fix Casey and this situation.

JMHO

I totally agree. I mean, this is a girl who was able to convince her family that she lived in the same house with that she held a job for 2 years! Apparently even going so far as to email herself fake email from her non existent boss & planning a business trip! Can you imagine the amount of lies she had to keep track of?!

Oops, sorry! I stand corrected.

I think LE should take turns and intergate her 24/7 until she breaks.
Stop giving her her way and do something.

You do realize they cannot do that, right, since she's lawyered up?

ETA: Although as I'd previously said, I'd love for her to get the Jack Bauer inquisition treatment. And that ain't purty ;)

I am pretty much new,... but I have a question that just popped into my head. Say Casey is actually telling the truth. That a babysitter in fact did steal Caylee. Then Caylee is returned home. What happens to this forum? Will it be deleted since there was alot of accusations on here for all the world to see? Or will it stay with all the mistruths on it? Meaning if it stays, and Caylee is older and googles her name will all this stuff pop up? just wondering,....

If Caylee is found alive then there's no doubt whatsoever that she'll know this entire story at some point in her life. Her mom/grandparents would be idiots to try to attempt to hide this from her.

But then considering her mom/grandparents I think they would probably try.

I disagree--at least in her friendships. I think that most people knew the game she played...she just never was confronted about it in her circle of friends. Remember the People article? And if you look at her myspace, you'll see that she goes through phases with "best friends," and then those disappear, and new best friends emerge. And "DJ" said that she had no friends that he ever saw--she was only around Tony and his friends.

As far as her parents go, I'm pretty sure that they've known what was going on with her, but they seem to be the head-in-the-sand type of people who don't deal with problems until they become emergencies.

I think the only person who didn't realize the gamer that Casey was...was Casey.

How did she explain not having any income?

But I think that was done in a moment of rage. Before she'd thought through her actions and then once she played that hand she had to continue at the game.

As a parent I can say that it's a very difficult decision to turn your own child into LE. I've got to believe that she and George discussed it long before they "found" Casey that day. They obviously had bank records ready to show LE. I'm sure she was in a rage that Casey had stolen from her, but that doesn't take away from the fact that she drove Casey to the police station and tried to turn her in, and later made the other 911 calls.

I am sure she would know about it! But what I am saying is, she will see how everyone accused her grandparents and mom of killing her and whatnot. I just wondered that's all.

I do not believe for one minute that Cindy threw those pants that smelled like the car and like smoke in with other things she was washing. Its just too out of character for her.

A good friend of mine stole from her parents and forged on their accounts. Her mom turned her into the police and the girl was punished with 5 years of probation. To this day the mom feels like she made a rash decision in handing her daughter over to the authorities and that it's ruined her daughter's life. Maybe Cindy reacted the same way my friend's mother did. She was just so damn pissed that Casey blew it again and was stealing from her and so she opened up a can of worms not realizing that she couldn't change her story the next day when she cooled off.

You heard it right, Wish! Cindy never tells the same story twice! Good Grief

They weren't all the same clothes. We already discussed this earlier today. Only the gray slacks were washed BEFORE LE arrived. All the other stuff was washed after LE knew and they did not want any of those items and she asked if she could wash them. LE did not care. All of that is in the video and I believe what she says is true. She did not tell the story different you are just taking it out of context.

well hopefully caylee would realize how much support and how much the public loved and cared about her to find her

Well...my theory is that she was probably selling drugs or into prostitutuion...but thats just my opinion. I'm also wondering if maybe Caylee got into her "stash" and thats why she wouldn't call 911 and disposed of the baby.

Also,.....she could always say that most of her pay check was going towards paying the nanny.

Does anyone have a link to the latest phonecalls?

And we know she's a thief. She stole from Amy, and she probably wasn't the first one.

I'm thinking we should be thankful she didn't throw them away! At this point, I highly doubt that pair of pants have any significance, at all, anyway.

Also, this is making my hinky meter go off as to how George described what Casey wore the last (on the next to last?) time he saw her. Cindy and he probably agreed that the grey pants would be what he would say she was wearing. Now that she knew they were nice and clean (of any possible evidence). Argghhh. These people!

I can pretty much tell when they're lying. Lip movement is a pretty big hint!

Wouldn't Casey have to file a tax return? Wouldn't her parents notice she had no bank statements, pay check stubs, etc. Didn't they ever have to call her at work when she'd forgotten her cell phone in her car or something? I can see carrying the lie out for a couple of months, but two years is a really long time.

  • #298
I caught that also. Wasn't it also said earlier in the show that the clothes sat in the car for 2 days before they were washed? Cindy just said she washed them the same day and told LE about it. Or am I hearing things???

You're not hearing things. I think that's the 3rd rendition of what was washed when and when LE found out about it. I'd think the rendition on the warrant would be most accurate, but...?

  • #299
oh goodness! If Casey were able to bond out soon and stuck at home with the ankle thing...would she be allowed on the net? If so, OUCH !!! There's tons out on the net about her and none pretty.

Fixin, I just think her parents were in MAJOR denial in regards to Casey. When red flags popped up, she probably spun some ridiculous story that no one else would ever believe, but it was easier for them to believe her.
