I think Casey had a functioning relationship with her family and it was better to leave things alone. Perhaps they never had a serious reason to doubt what was going on with her.

No plans for this child to attend somekind of preschool kindergarden makes me suspicious. Every 3 year old needs to interact with other kids their age. Obviously no plans were made for her at all.

TY for response, gigi, but had already tried there.

Sorry it didn't help. There is a lot of evidence that I think LE hasn't released hoping that when it comes time they can prosecute. I read somewhere that Baez ( Casey's lawyer) was going to make a motion for discovery. But I'm pretty sure he'll want those records sealed as he tried to get a gag order on the visitation at the jail. As far as interviews with friends and family--no one has really be interviewed on camera except for Holly ( Casey's friend) that I recall. Family meaning other than Cindy and George. Only in the affidavit were some friends--Amy--Casey stole from her and Jesse called her a habitual liar. Tony the boyfriend has maintained a very low profile. Probably no longer her boyfriend. Christine Chester did visit her in jail and Casey told her everyone's asking about Caylee--what about me? That's about it as far as what you asked that I can answer. Maybe others here know more and after Greta LOL--ask again and I'll bet they'll share. Welcome by the way!!:Welcome-12-june:

oh goodness! If Casey were able to bond out soon and stuck at home with the ankle thing...would she be allowed on the net? If so, OUCH !!! There's tons out on the net about her and none pretty.

I could care less about how Casey feels. She's brought this whole thing down on here. Whether she's murdered this child or told the truth, what she's done in unthinkable. You don't wait a month to report your child missing no matter what.

Yep. She would.

A good friend of mine stole from her parents and forged on their accounts. Her mom turned her into the police and the girl was punished with 5 years of probation. To this day the mom feels like she made a rash decision in handing her daughter over to the authorities and that it's ruined her daughter's life. Maybe Cindy reacted the same way my friend's mother did. She was just so damn pissed that Casey blew it again and was stealing from her and so she opened up a can of worms not realizing that she couldn't change her story the next day when she cooled off.

My ex-husband reported that our son stole his car when he didn't return it. He later chickened out and the prosecuting attorney was not too happy with his "amended" statement that it was all a misunderstanding. My ex is a pushover and I think he would have changed his mind anyway, but by the time things got to court, our son was in much deeper trouble and the stolen car was the least of his legal worries. I have a feeling that Cindy and George are going to eat the charges on the credit cards, since Casey may be facing murder charges.

Oh yeah .... :Welcome-12-june: Bosco!

And to anyone else who has joined us that I've missed! :)

The Anthony's need to stop coddling Casey and start asking her the tough questions about Caylee. They should wake up and realize that their daughter is the ONLY ONE who has the answer to what happened to Caylee.

Oh and just because a child is turning three doesn't necessitate that they attend preschool. As the mother of 4, I didn't send any of my children to preschool at age 3 and I think they've turned out pretty dang well. :)

GiGi, you're right about Tony. Some reporter actually talked to him. He said he hasn't talked to Casey since she's been arrested.

if you were worried about your child being kidnapped ..hmmm

how in the heck do you know if she was kidnapped by a phantom babysitter

i mean really how do you know that ?

if she was dropped off with a baby sitter and then you cant find the babysitter

there are a zillion things that could have happened

1. the phantom sitter could have been in an accident

2. could have been robbed or beaten up

3. could have had to go out of town for an emergency

4. etc.

5. etc.

at the very least you call the police to report it and then the police check the hospitals and go thru all the other motions

the story STANK from the get go
nobody that loses a child waits 30 days - NOBODY

and thats the bottom line - and if her parents cant see it, then the friends of the family better pull em aside and splain it :D to them

And all she wanted in the beginning was his phone number so she could call him. Does anyone remember when Casey at first said that Caylee called her from the nanny's but the call got cut off? I was thinking about that today--like my toddlers ( who I thought were the smartest kids on the planet:blushing: ) at almost 3 years old couldn't string 8 digits on a phone to call me. Well then again it was Casey who said it so we know that's a lie.

no Robotdog, you run straight to your boyfriends house for safety, the one you've known 2mos or so....
but yeah, your points are pretty darn straight on!

I never took that to mean that Caylee dialed up her mom's number. I thought it was implied that the kidnapping nanny had placed the call for her.

I am sure she would know about it! But what I am saying is, she will see how everyone accused her grandparents and mom of killing her and whatnot. I just wondered that's all.

If this were to be a "rare exception" ending like Elizabeth Smart, then yes, it'd all still be there. I'm sure if she so desired, Elizabeth would easily find the same theories about her family's theorized involvement at various stages.

And truthfully, even if there were no such forums, it's all in the media, most everyone she encountered the rest of her life, unless she changed her name, would likely say, "Oh yeah, Caylee Anthony, weren't you the girl who's mom had that crazy nanny story..." or whatever.

That's what I thought too, Liz. Although it doesn't matter anyway. The phone records prove it was a lie.

That is the way I took it also. I believe that is why so many accuse this family of lying because some just interpret things totally incorrectly.
