Beautiful life or the beautiful life. Both are possible, depending on context. It's Italian.

I always think it ironic that Italian is descended from Latin and in Latin "bella" means "wars"!

If this helps clear things up..."bella vida" is Spanish..."bella vita" is Italian. Both mean "beautiful life".

When were the forgery affidavits filled out does anyone know?

Casey's parents had been told that "Zannie" was the nanny for awhile, right?
IMO
Zannie the Nanny, was Xanax,(also known as "Zannie's")
IMO
Casey may have gotten great satisfaction from telling the parents Caylee was with "Zannie the Nanny", in the past, because they didn't get it, and thought Znnie was an actual person.
IMO
As Caylee became more of a handful, (Terrible twos), she may have used her chemical nanny more often.
IMO
One one of those occasions, Caylee OD'd.
Initially, Casey panicked, but as she thought it through, she saw it as a blessing, and just had to figure out how to get away with it, with her reputation intact.
IMO
She may have disposed of Caylee's body early on, and had to keep making excuses as to where her baby was, until she could figure it all out.
IMO
Casey went to Sawgrass hoping to get an apt. close to Tony's (either too squat in, or live in), and came across a person named Zaneida.
She never spoke w/her, but the name stuck in her head.
IMO
Casey was too busy compulsively living her fantasy life to think of a plan that would work.
She'd abandoned the car, but could still get around..there was no urgency to figure a way out.
She kept putting it off--she was having too much fun.
Besides, it was all okay, her parents were buying her excuses still.
Why not have fun?
IMO
Casey's doormat mom, did something uncharacteristic: she challenged Casey, and Casey had to scramble. She remembered the name Zaneida, and used it when her mom pressed her about going to Zannie's to see Caylee.
That's where Zaneida as Zannie was born and she ran with it.

Again, all my opinion, but i'm curious as to what y'all think.
I live here in central fla, so all I think about is this case.

You don't consider liars naughty names.

I just call 'em like I see 'em. The mods haven't pmed me or anybody else for saying we think they lie. When and if they do I'll listen until then it is what it is.

What would it take for Casey to cave and just tell the truth?
How can you make her admit it?

If it were an accident, she went through so much to cover it up.
Thats the terrible thing about all of this.
She just may go in to a depression and,
Well lets just say I am sure they are keeping a close watch on her
being tomorrow is little Caylees B-day.

IMO it probably was an accident and when she couldn't immediately get in touch with her mom and dad, she freaked out because she realized that her mom would come down on her big time. Then she put Casey in a plastic bag, buried her in the yard and later moved her. When she moved the plastic bag from the yard, she probably put it in a dumpster. And Caylee will never be found.

Since that time, I think she's just been spinning lie after lie. She has had some kind of break with reality - she has compartmentalized things in her brain. I don't understand how she could just shove the reality of what really happened to Caylee out of her conscious mind, but what other explanation is there? The nanny story is just a big lie like all the other lies.

I never took that to mean that Caylee dialed up her mom's number. I thought it was implied that the kidnapping nanny had placed the call for her.
And now they've found out that was another lie. :liar:

I don't think it's ever been said. I wonder if Cindy really had the affidavits, or she was just saying that to scare Casey. Casey was sitting right there when Cindy was on the phone w/ the operator.

Would you not be saying LIAR, not LiarS? My point. Remove the plural. Casey's family are not in jail for lying.

I don't have to meet Casey to know that she is a liar. She has been proven to be a liar.

If Casey did do something awful to Caylee be it an accident or not.
Do you think she acted on her own initally?

  • #350
oops your to fast

The bank would have copies of the forgery affidavits and would know if they've been filled out or not. They have to be notorized, do they not?

  • #352
amasleuth, I think your theory may be right.

Exactly, the whole phone call was out of real concern and calling Casey's bluff... ???

I don't believe anything Cindy has said....or George....what grandparent would let a month go by without seeing their grandchild? Cindy used the work excuse. What about week-ends?? What about 4th of July? Somethings not right....if Cindy and George wanted to find Casey and Caylee during that time, they could have found them.

All of this sounds very very realistic and characteristic of Casey's personality...whether or not the OD part is correct remains to be seen but everything after that, is probably very close - if not EXACTLY the way it went down
