The situation with George and the car doesn't bother me. I think it was mentioned that Casey had stole gas before. Maybe he suspected those cans would be in that trunk, therefore pushed the issue to get into it.

Funny, though, that both he and Cindy claimed not to have seen Casey and Caylee since mid-July--since she left the home with Caylee, if I recall correctly.

Then the pool ladder story emerges several days ago (setting up the accidental drowning defense).

Then the tire tool in the trunk story emerges several days ago (setting up that George looked in the trunk and no body/stench there).

It seems that the only facts they are "recalling" are the ones that can potentially be used by the defense in Casey's trial.

Some people think that the reason George was so distraught yesterday was because the reality that Caylee is gone has finally hit him. I think that reality hit him on July 16. I think the reason that George was so distraught yesterday was because he knew that the search warrant revealed very damning information, and that it might be his dear Casey that he loses next.

And, again, I just can't get past Cindy telling Rozzie Franco, "I've already lost one, I'm not losing another one."

Maybe he didn't think she would BREAK IN.....and this was an after thought, but good question!

It was only about 4 hours in between the police report and Casey showing up,you would think that it would have been fresh on his mind.Unless he was distracted.

I think they filed a report because they were PO'd at Casey and were ready to start coming down on her. They were ready to get her for the CC and everything. I think they were ready to make her grow up and be more responsible and if she couldn't handle that...I think they were going to try and take Caylee. jmo
So why let her get away with it then? If that were really true he had her red handed apparently it was a oh well! Now their looking for Caylee?

I'm starting to think of Casey's trunk as a great black hole, in which all weird items in the universe somehow appear. Let's see...we have an archaic pizza, a dead squirrel, a tire wedge, and gas cans. Wonder if my missing socks and lost keys are in there?

Hopefully LE has asked the GP about what else was in the trunk on the 24th (also how it smelled)......Too bad Greta didn't bring all this up, considering the trunk, the trash in it, the smell, & the dog hits, seem very important in this case.

I thought it odd, that part of the interview (about the trunk) simply ended with ' I opened the trunk & found the gas cans'

At one point I thought maybe the outing with Jesse was the turning point, then Jesse retracts statement about 24th and daddy brings up seeing Casey on the same date with his stolen property. Then we had ZG the invisible nanny's date of looking at an apt corrected to the 17th of Jun from the 17th of April and then GP George blows out of no where and claims he physically saw Caylee with Casey still in their home on the 16th from last seeing Caylee on Jun 6th.

It's so hard to put all of this together....I'm just trying to pick and choose facts, I guess. It reminds me of the NH case with all the lies.

Also, something that bothers me....is the situation with ZG. Now, it has been stated that ZG had been Caylee's Nanny for over a year, is that correct? If so, WHY had the grandparents never met her?! It just seems, since they were so close to Caylee, they would have one time or another picked Caylee up from the sitters or have met this woman. But it seems they never did! This part is very confusing to me.

I just had to get out my thoughts on this and questions.

RE: the "Nanny"

Am I wrong, or didn't Casey say that the nanny was 26 years old? If so, does that age match that of the woman she appears to have "set up"?

She possibly is having a hard time keeping up with our question as an assist.

Yep and we have Cindy looking Casey dead in the eye with a straight face on the witness stand no less. Telling her there is no evidence! Cute

Exactly.....where is that smiley!
On the right side, ck the go advance option for a pop up box for even more.

Thought that crossed my mind last night. Probably nothing...just a thought.

Didn't Cindy say that she covered all of Caylee's expenses, and Casey worked only to earn fun-money (for lack of better words).

Whether it's ZG or not, what if Casey deliberately kept her "nanny" and Cindy separated, never letting them meet, because the whole work-nanny story is a lie. Follow me here...

What if she told Cindy that the nanny cost $150/week and that the nanny would only take cash. Cindy gives Casey cash to pay the nanny, but there never was a job, never was a nanny, and Casey used that money to pay for whatever her expenses were (Target clothes, beer, gas).

Just something that crossed my mind, since I have no doubt that, PRIOR to this whole thing, George and Cindy were manipulated in myriad ways by Casey. (I do believe that, since this thing broke, we've seen where Casey learned the art of manipulation--from her parents, who have proved to be quite skilled at it themselves.)

Seems bout rgt but don't quote me, someone else may remember that one. She was looking for her and her child in clubs though.

INDEED! As in, "Honey, don't worry, your dad and I are CYA."

Yes....so, let me throw this out there. Does anyone remember if any of Casey's friends also mentioned ZG? If ZG was the Nanny for over a year, wouldn't Casey have mentioned this nanny to her close friends? Has Lee ever mentioned ZG? Maybe the parents are covering.....it would seem there would be others to verify this nanny, if indeed she existed!

The problem I have with George's story of the 24th is,he said he wanted to rotate the tires on Cindy's car. (what) If he had said he needed a tool to do a tune-up that would make more sense but most people take a car for tire rotation to the (shop) because the tires need to be balanced as well.

For me, there is clearly another reason for going into the trunk of Casey's car on the 24th of June. When you look around the Anthony household, everything has a place. There are two sheds that house everything, the sand box has a cover, the ladder comes out after swimming etc.

I just don't buy the "rotate tires" story at all. It was very hot here in Florida late June and the front of his house, based on what I have seen on TV gets all the sun. No one in their right mind would rotate tires in the sun.

You can go to Wal-Mart, leave your car and let them rotate the tires while you shop in comfort.

George kept adding to the reason for going in the trunk of the 24th of June to a point it made no sense at all. When something makes no sense, it turns into a lie or I can say he "fabricated or elaborated" on the reason for going into the trunk.

George is not a good liar, and when you watch his face during the OTR interview, you can tell by his facial expressions what he was saying was no the truth.

Three days later the car is left in the parking lot .... hummmmmm.
