Tony Lazarro stated that he picked up Casey at the Amscot, which shows she was the one who used the car and abandoned it. So, LE can place Casey as the last person to have the car before it was towed.
Did they forensically test the keys that Casey used that day? If she had moved the body, would they show dirt, blood, decomp cells, or other DNA from Caylee on them?

Sure hope LE has THAT computer...maybe the reason why she wanted Tony's number when she was first went to jail? Also, makes me wonder now, if they were dating, why wouldn't she know his #? Maybe she wanted his work #? GM did say LE took 2 computers from the house, but I don't remember if she specified who they belonged to. She did say Lee had his.

That crossed my mind too..Why she didn't know the number but then I thought about how now with cell phones most of our contacts are by name..I very rarely actually "dial" a number..I couldn't tell you my own sister's number because when i call her I just press "her name"

Maybe I am reading too much into the friends statement, but abandoning the car is important. I just assumed that she left the car when gas ran out or it quit working for some reason.

Since George DROVE the car home the day after becoming aware that it was impounded, leads me to believe that nothing was wrong with the car other than the smell?? Especially, since she lied to Tony indicating that it broke down.

I don't know where I am going with this....but Casey's actions are appearing more intentional to me.
And if she had mom's cc...why not purchase gas?

I know Cindy says she called Amy, but maybe she was returning her call... maybe Amy went to Cindy to say - look, Casey owes me money, and by the way, I know Caylee is missing...and then Cindy HAD to call the police.

Amy Huizenga tells Casey’s mom where to find her. Also states She loaned Casey her car for the previous week she was on a trip, that Casey stole some of her checks and approximately $700.00. page 5, paragraph 8

maybe it was in her cellphone and when they arrested her they didn't take it yet. I have lots of people in my cellphone that I don't know their numbers by heart. I just press the speed dial

What size cooler?

You mean was it big enough? Yes it was, but that would have been a bit brazen, don't you think?

do we have a presser link yet?

  • #209
Yes you can view Toni's page. I couldnt find the name Zenaida Fernandez anywhere on her page. Just seems strange to me that it pulls up under Zenaida Fernandez, if I type in Caylee Anthony under search it doesnt pull up all the pages for people who have Caylee's info on their page, so doesnt make sense for Toni's page to pull up under Zenaida Fernandez name unless the account was originally under that name?

The search I am using is for member profiles, not just general word search of facebook.
Are you able to see this "Toni's" page? If she for some reason has the name "Zenaida Fernandez" on there anywhere (following the case if she knows Casey, etc.) it will also pop up in a search.

Good point!

As much as I hate to say it, and as much as I can understand why folks feel otherwise, no, the fact that a child's missing shouldn't be enough to put an Amber Alert into effect. Amber Alerts work because they provide specific credible information, and are used early on in a disappearance.

The more frequently they're used, the less impact that they have. If there's no criteria, people will start to tune them out -- not only because of the sheer volume, but because of the 'false alarms', and the overwhelming feeling they can't help.

Many threads ago, someone posted the criteria for an Amber Alert, and this case didn't meet the criteria. Before they can issue an Amber Alert, they have to have a description of the child, the abductor, a specific place where the child was last seen, a date, etc. With the exception of a photo of Caylee, there were none of the other things needed to issue an Amber Alert.

they have confirmed no such thing, they have only said that they THINK the smell is human decomposition.

Two PROFESSIONALLY TRAINED, CERTIFIED cadaver dogs hit and confirmed on the same exact locations - I think we can safely say that there is evidence of human decomposition.

  • #214
please post the statements from the dogs where they confirm this... :P

you are aware that cadaver dogs are often wrong right?

im not claiming they are wrong here, im just pointing out the difference between PROVEN or CONFIRMED and merely suspected or "supported by evidence".

With respect, where are the facts to back up the dogs "often being wrong"? Besides, a former homicide detective and two trained dogs all being wrong? Actually, even her parents questioned the odor. Plus, the blacklight...?

IF the car was out of gas (which I doubt), it could have been stolen while the car sat in the Amscot lot for 3 days prior to the tow. I don't believe there was anything wrong with the car...other than the smell that Casey couldn't handle.

Fox News hasn't said one thing about the presser,..
On the news websites,..where do you go to watch it. Will their be a link that say "Watch press conference here"?

  • #217
They were able to drive it home that night.

  • #218
In that link about the friends talking,.. Tony says that she told him the car "broke down" and her dad would come and get it later.

I think it comes up because toni does mention zg's name under her personal info But in that area, instead of personal info, she has written about the case including this
"last seen with Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzalez.
if you have any information,
please contact my family at the following numbers:"
