I don't doubt you heard it. Because all of the female family numbers have names that start with 'C', I've noticed that the talking TV heads have gotten the names mixed up more than once (even the prosecutor was very careful during the court hearing).

Dr Michael Baden did an entire interview yesterday in which he referred to Caylee as Casey.

I would have thought that also, but they said "grandmother".. and said they would be back to tell leading up to it, as to what she has said. They also said the grandparents may have known that Caylee has been missing since June 9th and they didn't report it either.

This could very well be the way Fox operates to keep us in tune, or it could have been a slip-up that they weren't supposed to report yet. We'll see. I'm just hoping the press conference has some great news.

what are "pavers"?

Pavers - short for concrete or brick paving stones. See picture below (I hope I did this correctly):

I hope this helps!

There is a huge difference between poured concrete and pavers. The dogs would have alerted readily under pavers, imo. If the person in the report knows the difference...then it is possible the pavers were used inside the poured concrete as an added texture or design.

It would not be the first time a family has acted in concert to cover up the death of a child due to abuse, neglect, or outright murder.

I can't wait for the presser. I am hoping that the forensics are back and they are going to change the course of this investigation from missing to homicide now so the charade can stop of all the "sightings".

wtf?!

Thanks for reposting that Luna - this was the comment that really brought it home for me as to Gma's possible involvement in the death. I think it was already done and done by the time Gma found out. Now I certainly believe she is in a great deal of denial, and in that denial she is grasping at any straws that could mean her daughter did not have something to do with Caylee's death. Her mind cannot let her go there, and she truly is going insane from worry, no sleep, not enough food, etc. - on top of her loss of control, which I think would be enough by itself to drive a control freak off the deep end.

you do make a good point, there...

Okay so let me ask this - if Gma is in on the cover-up, why wouldn't she say that she had met ZG before? If it's all a lie, why would she not say that she had met the caretaker and had concerns that she (ZG) was too attached to Caylee, loved her too much, wanted her for her own? Saying that you'd never met your granddaughter's caretaker, she had to have known that wouldn't look good. To me this points to the whole thing being Casey's lie, not her's. I think Casey was too scared to admit whatever happened to her mother (and I personally think it was some sort of accident/neglect situation) - boy, I sure would be scared of her!

I do not think Caylee is under any concrete in the yard, that's just way too out there for me and although I think Casey and her mother are absolutely nuts, I just don't see her parents burying their beloved granddaughter under concrete in the yard. I won't believe it unless LE digs it up and finds her remains.

Ugh - the whole thing makes me sick. It's just so hard to believe the way any of these people are acting. Maybe allowing for any possibility that Gma is involved in the death and/or disposal of Caylee would just be too much for me to bear.

She said she didn't know ZG because then she would ask what she looked like and she has no clue. So let me rearrange the story then. Casey KNEW they were gonna get concrete put in. Buried Caylee there. And after she was "found out" so to speak. She told her mom or other family members and now they are covering her tracks,.. What was Cindy gonna do,..dig her up???
There is just too many inconsistencies in Cindy's story for me not to believe she is in on the cover up. If she isn't I will personally apologize on her myspace page since she still has me as a friend. jmo

Boy, thats really weird Liltigress. I want to hear what they had to say!! They must have decided to pull the story for some reason. It isn't being reported anywhere else. I hope they can pull the story together and air it soon.

I would have thought that also, but they said "grandmother".. and said they would be back to tell leading up to it, as to what she has said. They also said the grandparents may have known that Caylee has been missing since June 9th and they didn't report it either.

I would rather the presser to say "Caylee found alive and well!", but we know this is very unlikely given the results of the K-9s and the evidence found in the trunk of the Pontiac. This not only points to a homicide, LE has acknowledged it does. As soon as the results come back and if they do match Caylee...they will change the investigation from Missing Persons to Homicide. It is just the way it works. They don't need a body to do this. They only need decomposing cells which came from the person previously presumed missing or enough blood to indicate the person was mortally wounded. There are a host of other things they could find to indicate the person was no longer alive, too.

Good luck brother! I know u r smart enough to find the TRUTH behind all of this nonsense and God willing everything will turn out the way, I'm sure, we all would like! For the best and with as little consequence for all in every way!

May all the right hearts and minds be willing and able to restore the once quiter Anthony Home; and restore the smiles that once shone!

With great love from the Mayfield Family!

Erika, Karla, Carlos, and The Fizz

Erika and Karla were very upset when I told them the news and wish everyone the best of luck! Our prayers are with the Anthony's!

I find this very telling. Obviously other people know all about Casey and WHAT she could be capable of,.. and yet NO ONE IS TALKING!!!! I understand that the police might have not told them to talk but they couldn't have gotten to ALL of her friends before it hit the news.

I'm just hoping that there will even be a press conference now.
FOX has been quite negligent today with their reports. jmo
But earlier when they were in the back newsroom with all of the monitors, the news guy said the story about the slab was unfounded.
I posted that quite a while ago.

what evidence was found in the Pontiac?

I haven't heard anything on Fox News about the press conference,.. they usually keep telling you it is coming up. I also can't find anything posted on the news websites. You think they cancelled it?

She said she didn't know ZG because then she would ask what she looked like and she has no clue.
I guess I don't follow you there. If the whole story is made up and in collusion with Casey, couldn't they have just agreed on a description of the person they think took Caylee?

There is just too many inconsistencies in Cindy's story for me not to believe she is in on the cover up.
You may be right - I just offer the possibility that she is in such pain and denial, and is so loony to begin with, that she cannot keep her "wishful thinking" straight. She is desperate to come up with any possible explanation that might mean Caylee is indeed still alive. She has to believe Caylee was taken.

If she was lying about believing the smell was pizza, for instance - why admit yesterday that she/George at first thought it was decomp smell? She MUST believe it was rotten pizza, to believe otherwise means Caylee is dead and she cannot believe that!

So anyway...we may disagree on Gma, and that's okay. I think her inconsistencies are consistent for a person desperate to believe that her g'daughter is still alive.

After looking at the video of the backyard, I didn't see anything that looked like freshly poured concrete either. Then again, could it have been in the side yard that we didn't see? Surely, LE would be smart enough to notice it and have gone ahead to bring in the tools to check underneath for signs of a body. So it may be unfounded.

It was reported here last night, but I don't know where that came from as I didn't see any link to it. Maybe the source came from one of our posters/readers that got a bit "gung-ho"! (I would hate to think that would happen tho.)

Hailiejade - Nonsense is the word that threw me. Also his entries were July 17th and 18th, then none since. This family is in Arizona, so I don't think LE got to them. IMO Lee boy erased stuff or told him to send any comments via email.

OME

I know what I heard, I also heard the follow-up when they finally did come back in and tell the standard canned story we've been hearing all day.

I wouldn't make something up like that, so until the rest of that story comes out, I'll just keep quiet.

Maybe the presser will shed some light on this whole thing.

I don't doubt you heard that. Many times I've watched Fox News and there's been a "coming up after this commercial break", and I patiently wait, and there's no mention of the promised story. It's left me scratching my head, but I know I heard it and waited for further elaboration of the story.

Crimes Not Likely To Be Solved In Orlando And Orange County

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. -- Not even a third of major crimes in Central Florida are ever solved and in the city of Orlando, the statistics are even worse. In Orlando only one in six crimes are solved.

Hello all. I am a newbie from Alabama. I have been lurking for a while. I have not posted to forum previously... so consider this a test.

Also, I think that LE knows a lot more than is being made public. Surely, they know almost everyplace that Casey has been in the last month. If she is like most her age, her cellphone is a required part of her wardrobe.

Thanks for all the info here.
