she is in jail, gramdma?

No, but she's on every cable news outlet.

so if Jesse was an Orlando cop and he just recently resigned, then alot of the LE working on this case must know him or could certainly find out about him. If he was the father of Caylee, he certainly isn't dead.

Wow. That's incredible news. If Caylee was with Casey on June 24th, was Casey not staying with Amy/Ricardo as the affidavit says?

Didn't Amy and Ricardo claim not to have seen Caylee?
That would imply that wherever Casey called Jason from is the place that Caylee may still be located.

If she made the call from her cell, can't LE get the records showing at least which tower bounced the call to narrow down the location?

There ya go! I keep thinking something is up with Amy and I will until I'm proved wrong.

I really worry about Casey being let out. I was hanging on to the hope of a Baker Act here. But the article Absolute linked really burst my bubble. LE can and probably will tail Casey. That didn't work with Melinda Duckett though. LE was practically outside her front door when she blew her brains out.

Good question about the cell, and if it was a landline could they do a reverse check also...to see where the call came from to Jesse?

I have this link bookmarked as my "Caylee Cam" and I'm not sure where it is now. This is the link when they were camped outside the Anthony home during the yard digging.

This maybe the courthouse?

grandma seems like she's out of whack because she is!! wouldn't you be if your granddaughter was missing and you believe your daughter knows where she is or who has her? she doesn't want to talk about her daughter, tells me she's extremely mad at her daughter. she just wants the word out. unfortunately, she also wants to believe every single sighting of her granddaughter. if someone told her santa claus had her gdaughter up at north pole she would want to believe that also. not because she's nuts but because the alternative is that her gdaughter is dead....and that she doesn't want to think about.

i believe that while she's controlling and also seems to have the idea that only SHE can find her granddaughter its because perhaps in her heart she feels guilty that she allowed her daughter to take her granddaughter out of their house. she may have the same guilt i did when my daughter lost my grandkids to her mother in law. i felt i was MOM mom is suppose to be able to make things all better for our kids...unfortunately sometimes we can't. i felt/and still do at times guilty because i didn't have the money, the connections, the ability that my daughter's mil had to be able to do what she did. perhaps gmom feels the same frustration i did and that along with not sleeping much, nor eating right is making her off centered...appeared whacked. i believe their homelife wasn't perhaps the best it should have been but i do believe that the grandma believe's she's been doing what is right all along.

Maybe they can arrange a little hook up between Jesse and Casey? Maybe Jesse is going to help them with something like that. Maybe then he'll be lead by Casey to Caylee?

Is Amy the girl on the video posted this morning where reporters were trying to get her to talk? If so, I thought she was making it evident that she has talked with detectives and she's not supposed to talk to reporters..she can't talk to them she said. So maybe the detectives are starting to put things together. I sure hope so.

While Grandma might be considered a "victim" in this case, she has acted so inappropriately several times on national television that she leaves a lasting negative impression. Her own words would lead anyone to believe she knows a lot more than she is telling the police to find her granddaughter. To me, this should be fair game to discuss. She has her own motives and agenda here...so what are they? If she is guilty of withholding information, does it make her a victim or part of the crime in hiding the whereabouts of this child?

PHONE CALL REVEALS NEW DETAILS

Eyewitness news has uncovered other major developments in the Caylee Anthony case Tuesday. The ex-fiancé of the girl's mother will contradict Casey Anthony's timeline of events in a sworn statement to deputies Tuesday afternoon.

The man, identified only as Jesse, has told Eyewitness News, and is telling deputies Tuesday, that he believes little Caylee Anthony was with her mother Casey much more recently than Casey has let on.

Casey claims she last saw the little girl on June 9, when she left her with a babysitter. But Jesse now says he called Casey on Tuesday, June 24 and heard her scolding the little girl for jumping up on the table in the background. He then heard the girl's young voice in the background responding and told Eyewitness News he is 100 percent sure that it was Caylee.

If true, that would be a major wrench in the timeline Casey Anthony has given deputies. It is a full two weeks after Casey says she last saw Caylee. Jesse told Eyewitness News he remembers the day clearly, because it was the very day he resigned from the Orlando Police Department. He said he called Casey to let her know and said phone records show the call was 18 minutes long.

It was only three days later that, he said, he spoke to Casey again and she told him that Caylee was with a babysitter, so she would be free to go to the beach the next day.

Fifteen minutes until the bond hearing.

I have really enjoyed reading everyone's comments and responses on this tragedy. Great job and insight!

I am so sick of having my intelligence questioned when a case comes up like this. Everyone here is smart enough to realize that this child unfortunately has met some terrible fate. Whether is was planned or an accident -- we all know that something is wrong.

I am APPALLED that this mother would have the nerve to make up any of this -- but to say her daughter called her in jail just belittles her daughter's existence.

I do feel sorry for the grandmother. I know this family seems "weird" -- but I don't believe she had anything to do with this case. It's very hard for parents to believe their children are capable of acts like this. (See Scott Peterson's Mom & Dad)

The grandmother is going through denial right now and is just trying to grasp on to anything her daughter has told her.

As far as the bond hearing goes, The mother and others may be fooled by Casey's lies -- but a judge won't be. I'm assuming the judge will deny bond.

Her lawyer really has never explained this either:

He wants Casey released from jail so she can help look for her daughter -- yet leaves out the part that she didn't seem to care looking for her during the 5 weeks she went "missing".

This is a classic case of the defendant not "acting correctly" after a crime has been committed. We saw it with Peterson, and it's happening again with the Nancy Cooper case.

My guess is if she is released -- she will run. I'd like to see Nancy Grace interview her for 10 minutes.

I think that what she said was that Casey called her on the same day that she was arrested; prior to the arrest, I think.

Wow. Pretty building. Yes, I'd say it's the courthouse.
10 minutes to go. Guess I'll eat whatever is in the frig instead of going out to lunch. Don't want to miss anything.

It's very hard to tell the difference between a victim and a suspect in many cases.

Casey borrowed the shovel mid June, Jesse hears Caylee June 24th, Caseys car was abandoned around June 27 (had been in parking lot a couple days and towed on June 30) Casey calls Jesse June 27 to say she is free for the weekend, do they get together?

Will go back through the links but I thought originally Casey called him on June 24th to console him about the loss of his job.

Well, lets think about this...

Casey didn't tell her mother that Caylee was missing until AFTER police got there, right?

What made Cindy call police in the first place, if she didn't know Caylee was missing?

This shows Cindy's strong emotions of control. Can a g'mother call police just because she's not getting to see her grand daughter? No.

To me, this should be fair game to discuss.

Discuss away, just don't bash or name call. Again, if I am not seeing this clearly, I am open to listening and trying to understand better.
