This is the criteria for Florida--some states have different variations.

To activate the AMBER alert the following five (5) criteria must be met.​

1. The child must be under 18 years of age. ​
2. There must be a clear indication of an abduction. ​
3. The law enforcement agency's investigation must conclude that the child's life is in danger. ​
4. There must be a detailed description of child and/or abductor/vehicle to broadcast to the public (photo when available). ​
5. The activation must be recommended by the local law enforcement agency of jurisdiction. ​

Steps For Activation

• The Amber alert can only be activated by law enforcement.​

It's certainly happened that way in other forums, too. Off hand, I can think of the Natalee Holloway, Michelle Young, and Tara Grinstead forums. New people sign up and start with same old diversionary tactics: "Look, an airplane!" or "Evidence is not evidence" or "Vast conspiracy" or "What crime?" and others.

I couldn't think of any cases off hand. But boy, you sure picked some doozies that really had meddling from insiders.

we have NO IDEA the dynamics of this relationship, we have NO IDEA what type of power struggle went on between these two grown women and I find it disturbing that Cindy continues to be attacked here, until we know THE WHOLE STORY and not 90% assumption I don't think we should judge a grandmother whose life has been turned upside down who has been charged with NOTHING!

If my life was turned upside down and my grandchild was missing I'd be telling WHOLE TRUTHS all of the time, and I'd be confronting my daughter until I got the WHOLE TRUTH, and nothing but the WHOLE TRUTH. I have no sympathy for someone who lyes not only under oath, but on national TV to each and every one of us about everything all of the time. JMO

I would LOVE to see them. Not what is being reported by media. Heck, you can't even believe the police affidavits because they get their dates wrong also. June 6, vs. June 16th. JMO.

Yeah, they had some typos BUT other than that, what do you have a problem with concerning the police affadavits? We learned a lot from reading those.

Also, we heard one witness, Clint, on Greta confirm that Casey was there that night on June 20th. I am sure that there are other witnesses in addition to the photographers as it is a public place. Those pictures could also be verified by others in the pictures. There are 3 witnesses that we have heard on television ourselves that confirm the dates of the pictures. By now, if there were witnesses to the contrary, I think we would have heard about. I don't call that date a fact yet... but "pretty close for Government work".

Oddly I though GPS was originally handed down by the court and it was amended just to the bracelet, please jump all over me and correct me if I am wrong.

If that was the case I think it is funny they would petition for it.
