Someone mentioned on another forum that they think the video was from last year rather than this Father's Day. What do you all think?

I've been assuming that LE already checked this out, since the discovery of it by LE on the computer was what I believed changed Cindy's story about the last time she saw Caylee from June 9 to June 15...

On July 15th, Casey also texted her friend Brittany that Caylee was missing for 31 days. Considering how busy that day is, why would she text a friend she had just "reacquainted" with? It must've been around the time her mother was calling 911. And what phone did she text from?

this goes with starting the caylee missing page...just before whe was arrested. it's like -- hey -- everyone knows a kid is missing so i better start getting the word out.

According to Clint we gain insight on the fact that she stayed at Tony's every single night during the time that Caylee was missing. She even posted on Tony's sisters myspace " i cant wait for your brother to get home" How long did she know these people? She was obsessed. I feel its going to pan out to be a lot like Susan Smith.

You are right when you say that Caylee survived for 3 years without a problem. The only thing new and different in Casey's life was Tony. They had been together a total of 6 weeks when Caylee disappeared!
Absolutely agree this is one of those relationships that sounds like 'love at first sight', at least on Casey's part.

I would say that she was the one who was moving way fast, but it sounds like Tony was also into it - or at least Clint and his 'wife her up' was into Tony being into it, and he was on facebook looking for - something.

But they'd actually only been together for 3 weeks when Caylee disappeared, which is really, really creepy.

That's what I'm always thinking about. I mean, if Caylee is gone, she survived almost 3 years....why then? why didn't Casey lose it sooner? What was the trigger? Why then? Why now?

TonE...

It seems to me that Tony doesn't want to talk to the press, considering how awful he must feel thinking that Casey may have killed Caylee to spend more time with him without the extra baggage.

It was obvious last night that he didn't want Clint talking to the press. Clint was very careful to keep the focus off Tony, although Greta was doing great to keep trying to push the issue.

Of all Casey's friends, Tony is probably the one who might feel some responsibility, especially if he thinks Casey may have felt her chances with him would be better without having a child. I hope he's getting some counseling and realizes that whatever has happened is not his fault. He's one of many victims.

Agreed. I'm only trying to offer what little we do know to discuss the issue of whether or not Cindy knew, or should've known, someone had died in that car at whatever point in time she washed those pants - it goes to whether or not she, as some WSers believe, could be charged as an accessory after the fact .

LE may be annoyed with them but they have said they have been fully cooperative. Someone else posted when this came up that no prosecuter or judge (elected in most cases) is going to want to prosecute the grandmother and grandfather of the victim. Could be a PR nightmare. Not to mention reasonable doubt standards. Unless they do something like hide evidence that could otherwise lead the police to Caylee I don't think this obstruction charge is coming. Just my opinion.

Almost 2 yrs old & almost 3 yrs old looks way too different to me. I believe the video was from this year!

I do too! Just wondering if I was overlooking something important. The poster cited the baby talk on the video as too babyish for her age and says there are other pictures where Caylee looks older. If there are, I haven't seen them.

  • #328
Yes Yes Yes I do. I have been driving myself nuts with this. I think she looks younger and more babyish then the other pictures they have been showing.

well surely they know this by now right? LE have been to rest home-all the people at the rest home know about either the visit or the supposed visit so that's a lot of people knowing if it wasn't true

what would that have changed? if it happened on the 16th or 17th it had only been a day, two maximum that had passed since Cindy had seen Caylee. Am I missing something?

Might have had something to do with the loud arguement on Father's Day that the neighbor heard.

I've wondered whether all these random myspace and text messages supposedly directed at "getting the word out" were a not-so-well cloaked effort at setting up evidence to show she had been worried and looking for her child...belated as it was, I doubt it will have that effect, but could have been her motive.. .

so creepy - like so many movies with the bad plot lines...most recent one I know of is Swimfan...girl sleeps with guy (who even has a GF already) and becomes so immediately obsessed...it gets bad fast...

I understand - I agree - I don't think Cindy thought Cayle was "missing" in the sense she's "missing" now, she was just missing from Cindy's life in general.

Last Fathers day Caylee would have only been about 22 mos. old. Not even 2 yet.

That's exactly right. I'm sure he's a bit overwhelmed and sickened by it all.

Really? If the video is from a year ago, there must have been some planning involved to release it as this year's video. I'm not quite ready to go there.

I didn't see the video just the pix. But I talked differently to my great-grandparents compared to my parents (I don't have grandparents anymore, but hopefully I am making a point)

Agreed. Frankly, I'm glad he has managed to stay out of the paparazzi limelight, even though I'd love to hear what he has to say. If he's the decent, nice guy I hope he is, he'll be forthright and honest when the time is right and try to take care of himself in the meantime.

Sociopaths are very adept at mimicking and or posing, to impress people as to how they want them to be viewed. (and as we know Casey was always posing) Flashcards, doting mom, etc..

I agree that the new lifestyle was the motivation (unless the xanax trunk thing comes to be the real story and I wouldn't call drugging you kid and putting her in the trunk an accident).

Casey seemed completely unaware how people would respond to her child being gone for a month unreported. You can hear it with the 911 operater when she gets on, she send out text messages to tell her friends, and she really seemed to think she could just put Cindy off.

I'm sure LE has checked this all out, I'm sorry she just appears younger to me then some of the other pictures.

That wasn't said in a rude manner. The conversation was in body language and others discussing how Cindy's head was saying no while her mouth was saying yes. Same as George's shoulders shrugging. My point is that his eyebrows move up and down too much and it's hard to see what his shoulders are doing.

Otherwise, I don't feel I should have to explain myself in what I'm thinking. Everyone has their own opinion and I haven't bombarded your posts with assumptions.

I understand what you mean...he is constantly shrugging, moving back & forth
and raising eyebrows....it's hard to even concentrate on what he says.

I think we are underestimating LE way too much on this one......They know exactly when that video was taken. They are basing their time line on it. If there was a question or its authenticity they would never use it.
