It definitely would not have been fun for Caylee, if true. I don't see any of her friends saying she would come over to their house with Caylee while she was supposedly working.

There were some MySpace messages where Casey is asking her friends to go out with her saying her mother would let her if they were going. Sounds to me like her parents were restricting her time to party while she lived there.

Then again, the friends haven't really come out and said a whole lot except for what was in the search warrant.:waitasec:

Ok, so if your theory is correct, that means that on the days that she was supposed to be working, she was out of the house from the time she was supposed to check into work until the time she was to check out. Which means that Caylee was dragged all over the place at 1 and 2 years old. I have a 4 year old and she still needs her naps. I know that I can't go anywhere in the afternoons or else she doesn't nap and when she naps in the car, she gets cranky. So to me, if this theory is correct, the child was being neglected. If she truly was at daycare or a babysitter, she would have some structure. This child had none under this theory (which does make sense too). So that leads me to the presumption that she was not a good mother (which is already a pretty safe bet) who did not put Caylee first even before any of this happened. I wonder how much she really did party before Caylee disappeared. They show pictures here and there but no real info on how much she really did go out.

Her now defunct myspace was full of plans and pictures of her partying over the last two years. It just went from beer pong to clubs when she met Tony. There are TONS of pictures of her in bars getting drunk..and the one of her throwing up over the toilet was from her 21 birthday. There was also another of her peeing behind a car (obviously drunk) from even before that. She was a party girl waaaay before Tony.

Caylee was almost 3 - wouldnt you think she would have talked at least a little about her day? Said something about where she was? who she saw? What happened while she was with the nanny and mommy was "at work"?

Didnt George and Cindy wonder why she wasnt filing tax returns?

Neither ever tried to call her at work? Or come to work to take her to lunch? Or meet her after work to run errands?

Didn't Cindy say in the Myspace posting something about no job, no future? Possibly the fathers day argument was "the jig is up". Casey was caught and reacted in the same fashion as Mark Hacking? Never know but I hope the Anthony's are letting LE know about these things if something like that did happen.

My impression was that Lee was asking her that regarding Casey's "investigation" that she supposedly had been carrying out in those 31 days looking for Caylee. He says for work or for fun and then says "oh I gotcha"

This was around the time that poor Lee was chasing his tail trying to find Caylee and pick up supposedly where Casey left off....yeah right.

Maybe...I just got the feeling he knew why she was there. Not work or fun but something she had to do??? I thought drugs or escort but who knows.

The whole pretending to work thing just throws me off! She had to be doing something. I go back and forth every day...

I don't feel that she would need to steal so much if she was an escort....she would be earning money and not need to forge amy's checks and steal her mothers credit cards.

She is a pathological liar, she pretended to go to work every day to keep up appearances. before Tony Casey lived at home and Cindy paid all of the bills that one would incur for cost of living. Grocery, Rent, Utilities, Caylee's medical bills AND Cindy stated herself that all Casey would need is spending money which Im sure she gave her.

Notice that the stealing didn't really begin in large quantities until Casey was staying with Tony and fighting with her parents. She finally had to support herself and she did so by stealing from friends and family....not hooking. imo

I was thinking maybe she was booking the clients or running the office operation rather than actually working as an escort herself, so she wouldn't make escort-level money. I can understand keeping up appearances but that sounds like such a pain to have to be out of the house on a regular basis for the sake of maintaining the lie.

My daughter is 3 and is VERY vocal..above average vocabulary. She started talking at 9 months old.. however I have a friend with a 22 month old who says VERY little.. MOST children are able to tell you SOMETHING about their day IMO. I wonder if Caylee was speech delayed?

I'm a pediatric speech pathologist. I've never heard Caylee's spontaneous language since she was reciting a book in the video so I can't assess language skills. However, she made quite a few speech sound errors that I would not expect of a 34 month old. Dentition was normal but I detected a slight tongue thrust--possibly the result of too much sippee cup drinking or bottle drinking. But even with the artic errors, her speech was intelligible. Yes, a typically developing almost-three year old is capable and more than willing to share events, retell stories and recall details of the day. imo--or is it impo (in my professional opinion?)

Yup...Casey always lied about going to work. She didn't work. Not' since 2006 anyway when she was fired from color vision.

I agree they are sponges --- as I have a 9 yr old who will question something his dad and I talked about days ago --- while he was in his room - and we were in the living room --- I KNOW he hears all. Fortunately our daughter is only 4 months and we can still talk about ANYTHING - *LOL*

We do have a family friend who has a 3 and 4 yr old - and I will say the 4 yr old was MUCH more vocal at 3 than her brother is......

I still go back to the items taken in the search warrant.. some of the clothes were GEORGE brand= Walmart and Mossimo= Target..I still don't think she made tons of money whatever it was that she was doing. She didn't live a lavish lifestyle..no nice car...yes she partied but how much of the booze did she pay for?

I think Casey has shown the world her capacity to lie......it is unfathomable. She boldly walked detectives thorough an office she didn't work in. Detectives! Girlfriend is insane. I think she showed right there just how far she would take a lie.....lying about going to work is a nothing compared to the lie that she is still carrying out now...but I hear ya.

Yep I think it just depends on the child..some are WAY more vocal than others. My 3-year old doesn't stop. I have a 14 month old who is already saying Blue's Clues and other 2 word phrases..My friends daughter is still saying UH OH at 32 months. She is really behind.

No offense but 22 months is under 2 - and Caylee was just short of 3 --- MOST 3 year olds I know are at least semi-vocal enough that she should have been able to at least say common names of people she knew from day to day life.....

Which really - goes back to the whole --- I left her at the steps of the babysitter? But I dont know the sitters number? The sitter ONLY watched Caylee? Casey never met any of the sitters family? friends? Someone who might know where the "kidnapper" is?Because I had to go to work? While my parents pay all of my bills? And someone pays for my drinking and partying?

IMO-Anthony Family Dynamics-
Grandma & Grandpa knew Casey lied and was irresponsible - probably quit trying to sort out lies from truth long ago.
They probably would have kicked her out long ago, but wanted to protect Caylee, plus perhaps had glimmers of hope that Casey would grow up. (every parent wants to believe their child will succeed eventually)
May have reached a point (mid-June?) where they finally got fed up w/ Casey, and were deciding to keep Caylee and make Casey move out on her own.
When Casey took Caylee, i think their entire focus became getting Caylee back-little priority on Casey "trouble"; all effort toward protecting Caylee.
I bet there was a moment where the truth slapped them in the face, that they were too late to save their baby, and i bet it was excrutiating. I think they've chosen an alternate reality to avoid that unbearable truth, they don't care how ridiculous they look, they don't care about anything anymore. I doubt they are even aware of their actions-deep down they know the truth-i think it hit Cindy on her 3rd 911 call, and I don't think she's acknowledged it since. It will probably require professional / spiritual help to bring them out of this.

I was going back to those that think she was an escort etc. ANYTHING is possible but one would think she would have been making lots of dough..her lifestyle doesn't coincide IMO.

yup...on her myspace she was always planning to meet a friend at target, and they would talk about attacking the dollar bin. Before Tony she played beer pong at friends houses after Tony who is a promoter she got free drinks and a vip table. totally different but still practically free!

My 3 yo granddaughter goes to daycare 3 days a week. She doesn't voluntarily talk about her day, only if someone asks her specific questions. IMO 3 yos tend to "live in the moment", so to speak.
