I can't get past feeling like they just sold Caylee to the highest bidder.

Casey being bailed out monday by CA bondsman. Fox live.

Ok. So what does releasing it to the public do in terms of the confession or implication? Dilute it? I just can't figure out what effect you are thinking of...

Why would LE want to release all of the information to the public they have if they are building a case against Casey for murder? Maybe they'd prefer to get a confession out of her and release/leak snipits of info to the media **as they see fit** in the hopes she will cooperate or confess. If they get a confession out of her that sure would save a lot of tax payers money and time in taking her to trial. The way LE is handling this case is the same way many other similar cases are handled with regards to not releasing all of the information to the public. It's an investigation after all.

They have to come up with that to get her released...If she doesn't show up for the trial, they have to pay the remainder.
the bondman are not stupid they would be watching her ....

CNN says she is being bailed out Monday? WTH?

But I thot they only had to come up wit $50,000 (10% of the total)????

The bond is set at $500,400. The court requires that amount to release her. A bondsperson usually asks for 10%, which is theirs to keep regardless of the outcome, in return for them guaranteeing the entire amount to the court. When a bond is this high, a bondsperson usually requires something as collateral in addition to the 10% to post the bond.

I can't believe this bail bondsman. Only in it for publicity. Disgusting.

This bonding out may be a stunt designed to help prove her guilt. SHe has been saying all along that she needs to be out of jail to help find Caylee. Well, if she gets out and nothing happens regarding finding Caylee, that will just serve to prove that it was just her way of trying to get out. Makes me wonder, will she be at home or are the really going to send her to a safehouse? With public opinion right now, I don't think she would live to trial if they let everyone know where she was.

should be interesting. Several weeks back there was a report that said the Sheriffs office wanted to be notified by the jail if she made bail. I said at the time that the police will then file additional charges PRIOR to her being bailed out and they will actually go into her cell, re-arrest her....and then have another bail hearing which will force them to provide more information.

Ditto. Also, in the bounty hunter story, I saw this quote that struck me:

"I'm not going to beat up on anybody because it's a very tragic situation (but) we need her cooperation," Beary said.

The fact that he's saying it's a very tragic situation speaks volumes to me.

The "we need her cooperation" is even more shocking. Anyone think of the angle that these bounty hunters are coming in and getting her out so they can watch her and possibly see if she leads them to the body, etc.? Isn't it common for murderers to frequent the place of the crime or the place where the victim is left?

Where are they getting the $$ for a spokesperson?
I would think a future book deal movie deal...Don't get me wrong i hope not ...but I don't thnik he is doing this out of the kindness of his heart.

Unless they can charge her first. If not they are EFFED.

I know this is a stretch but I honestly don't put anything past Casey...

I wonder if/when she gets out, if she will "join the search" a la Scott Peterson and miraculously "find" Caylee.

The upside of her being released is she can no longer use teh excuse of being in jail for the reason she isn't producing Caylee. it put up or shut up for her now.
What twist will there be after more weeks of not finding caylee go by?

The whole reasoning by the family for not finding caylee is because casey is in jail?
Caylee is dead- so noone will be producing her whether casey is in jail or not.

Just because she is getting out of that jail, doesn't mean that she will automatically be totally free. She has two holds on her from other agencies, I am assuming the sheriff and FBI. They could still arrest her for whatever it was they placed the holds on her for.

Yeah...according to the Orange County prisoners page...there are 2 holds on her. One is house arrest if she is bailed out; the other is undisclosed.

That was my thought, too. I have family in LE, and I know sometimes it's a matter of just watching till they do it.
