This is only a thought that I'm going to share here. I have NO idea if this is what Casey's case was or is. I'm just tossing it out as a possible.

I had a suspended drivers license for several years and during that time my license expired and I moved to another state. When my suspended time was up and my fines were all paid I went to DMV in the new state and was informed I would have to get a learners permit for a year before I could get my license.

As I said I have no clue if she ever had a license or if this is her situation but in some states thats the way they handle it when people are working on getting their license back.

Some states do something similar if you get an infraction while you have your learners in the first place. Almost like a reset, in MD. for instance you have a learners then a provisional I believe, if you get an infraction while you have the provisional you get reset. The 2 levels have different rules associated with them, who can be in the car etc.

Oh and wait

Casey: Why is everyone so concerned about Caylee? What about MEEEEEE!!!!!!

Well Casey must be in 7th heaven because now the focus is on her and not Caylee. She is probably on cloud nine counting down the hours and minutes until she's free. It's all about Casey now, not about that little angel.

What about the classic quote from George when he stated something to the effect of:

"Casey doesn't drink . . . Her friends call her mom . . . "

Yet in the interview on Greta the other night -- Tony's friend contradicts that by saying Casey was playing drinking games. I'm assuming she was just drinking Orange Juice though?

LOL threadworthy, for sure.. It's not funny but when GP was talking during the Greta interview and he did the "guess what, there were the gas cans in the trunk." I fell off the couch- it was almost embarassing to watch- a grown man saying "guess what before a lie.."

Wow, just wow!

Reading about Mr. Garrison doesn't nothing to soften my opinion of the Anthonys...have a gander, from the New York Observer, a reputable publication...

Mr. Garrison, who is based in Ventura County, Calif., specializes in packaging high-profile cases. In TV parlance, he is a “story broker.” When something bad happens, story brokers are the people who help criminals and victims monetize their villainy or grief. They place themselves as middlemen between the supply of human drama and the demand for it—so news organizations have to do business with them.

And Mr. Garrison is the “king” of that business, according to multiple sources at ABC, the network that reached an initial agreement about interviewing Mr. Karr.

But what I am saying is if Casey appeared to pay that ticket, that would be a real bombshell. Someone had to show up that day with proof that their name was ZG. That's all I am saying.
Yeah. The person that paid a ticket made out to Zenaida Gonzlaez was ....... Zenaida Gonzalez. What's the big deal? There are Zenaida Gonzalez's in Orlando. Several of them. It's not some government secret. They pay parking tickets. They pay rent. They go to the grocery store to buy groceries. They have sex and pick their noses and fart occasionally and tell white lies to their uncles when they'd rather stay home to watch a Twilight Zone rerun instead of paying a visit to some boring relative. So what?
Blink had brought up this ZG, I was trying to avoid confusion by pointing out that she actually appeared in court.

I know. I was trying to get the point in there about enough of this fake nanny as the kidnapper.

don't get me wrong...I know there is a slim chance that she's still alive...if she is hoorray!! if not, Casey needs to pay for what she's done and she will!! I can sit and speculate and theorize all day long...but I will not set someone up to burn at the stake until all evidence is compiled, evaluated, and brought forth...I won't do it...I have an open mind...it's possible she's guilty...it's possible she's not...I refuse to give in to the mob mentality!!
That's OK - there are plenty of people on this board who feel the same way you do. Yours is just the minority mob!

I think what people get into disagreements about is defending known liars, and for whatever unfortunate reason known best to themselves, Casey's parents fall into that category.

I posted to the "Peter Benevides: Bogus Dummy Corp" early this am and now it's "moved" and it says I don't have access when I click on it! Where did it get moved to? What did I do wrong???

I specifically said she DID NOT appear in court, she paid the fine, therefore not requiring her to. The relevance is in the dates and name associated with accounts from this case.

I'm looking at the same one and it says on the 3rd of June that she appeared. Not trying to be snippy. I'm going with what I have in front of me.

Mods probably didn't like it. It's been eaten by the Internet.

From what I have seen, it's done to save on insurance costs. I'm not sure, but it doesn't seem as tho the insurance companies rate the student driver...they wait until the license shows up to add the kid to the car.
QUOTE]

Actually because I have a son turning 15 soon, that isn't true - our insurance, Geico, adds the person as soon as they get their learner's permit. Some insurance companies don't though. However, it could be because they don't know - which is tricky because if the person with the learner's got in an accident and caused bodily harm to another or the vehicle, they might not cover it at all. Just my two cents.

I wonder how Casey is going to like staying in the home non-stop with no contact from Tony?

I hope Tony is smart enough to never speak to this girl again and run for the hills.

I almost hope she gets out and runs . . . I'd love to see Dog The Bounty Hunter's wife come down to Florida and get to the bottom of this....

Sorry Casey -- No more "Fusian" for you.
That's another weird thing about this case.

Florida law prohibits bounty hunters.

* Apprehension of bail fugitives is only allowed as set forth in FS 648.30(2)&(3):
* (2) No person shall represent himself or herself to be a bail enforcement agent, bounty hunter, or other similar title in [Florida].
* (3) No person, other than a certified law enforcement officer, shall be authorized to apprehend, detain, or arrest a principal on a bond, wherever issued, unless that person is qualified, licensed, and appointed as provided in this chapter or licensed as a bail bond agent by the state where the bond was written.
* Violation of this is a 3rd class felony. [FS 648.30(4)].

The bounty dude has gotta know this, doesn't he?

You can put your point whereever you want. But in my opinion someone took the child, although it was probably with Casey's consent. At least at first. At this point no one knows for sure that the nannny doesn't exist under some name. Remember I could say that aliens took Caylee and I would still be entitled to that opinion.

Yeah. This is no surprise. It's about making money from this case. It's not as if this is the first time in the history of the world that people are trying to profit from a sensational story.

I said nothing about her being a kidnapper nor do I dispute she was never a nanny to anyone. The point was if you can tie that ticket to Casey, you have your link... that's all.

I can say that dh had a motorcycle learner's permit here in FL and he renewed it over and over again for years because he never took the time to go take the test for the license. I would imagine that if you can renew a motorcycle learner's permit over and over, you can do the same with a regular learner's permit.

Why would Casey's parents allow her to drive their car without a license? Are we assuming they didn't know she only had a permit? I know for insurance purposes, the insurance follows the vehicle - not the driver - but every licensed driver in the household has to be listed on the policy that covers the cars that "live" at that household.

Not true. When I got my license back I got it with 7 points (yuck, I know but I deserve it trust me) so when I bought my car I put it in hubbys name alone. Our auto insurance is also in hubbys name alone (he has no points, no accidents, etc) because with my name on the insurance it would be through the roof because of my points.

Many many many people do the same thing.
