He won't be there alone with her. It will be interesting to see (if we are privy to it) how she acts or reacts once she is out. Funny the GP's are saying they knew nothing about this. Now we know their credibility is shot - but if they really didn't - well then what does Baez know?

Of all days, today was the day I was committed to real life things that has to be done and kept me away from computer and television. I saw only about 20 minutes of Greta before being interrupted with a long phone call. So, I'm somewhat behind, and have questions..............

Do I understand correctly that Jose Baez initially contacted Leonard Padilla? If so, is the resolution to Caylee's disappearance under the direction of Baez? In other words, can Baez stipulate to Padilla that if Casey should break down and blurt out that she killed Caylee, he's to be called immediately, giving him time to talk to Casey about a plea agreement before LE is contacted?

There so much about this that just doesn't feel right!

What? GMAB. I am so sick of these vague and delusional references that Cindy insists on perpetrating.
You don't really believe that Casey and Company are going to get away with that story, do you?
According to the Sheriff, "there is no evidence that Caylee was kidnapped."
I'm glad you mentioned it 'cause I didn't have a clue what that post was about. I had to go back and see if I missed something. Nope...

Periwinkle, you are not the only one. I think just about everyone who is paying attention is distraught, frustrated, and confused by all of this. It really doesn't have to be like this; like LE repeats and repeats, if Casey would only talk. Confess. But as long as she has her family out there manipulating away, why should she?

I believe Padilla contacted Baez...or that's how I interpreted it.

Their family has a place in Lakeland rented by Ohio relatives to save on motel expenses and more private than George and Cindy's /is this where Casey will stay I wonder:eek:

May I ask where this info came from?

They can keep hoping. Justice is getting more & more appropriate & methods of investigation, more sophisticated.
Caylee will be found, dead or alive....likely dead. The perpretators will be prosecuted & punished.

JUSTICE FOR CAYLEE, PRECIOUS BABY
I so hope so.

yes i do... please let me explain ...IMO there are so many distractions whenever we get a tidbit of info. plus there are a few players here who have been in law enforcement. i hope i am wrong. but this case and all the twists and turns looks like a big big coverup

Being Casey's atty nothing will go through anyone but him as advised by him. If Casey takes a different route she will be informed if not already that he Baez will not be able to protect her. This is a clear standing from the moment you receive defense council. Keep your mouth shut!

I lost power and my computer jammed up. I was trying to edit a post; I'm not sure what happened, either.

This post was about us never knowing what really happened because of the people involved. I took it to mean all of Cindy's references to the people who are threatening Casey to keep quiet to protect Caylee.
Now that I think about it, maybe the post was referring to the Anthony. Sorry if I went off on a tangent. Really. Either way, I am sure that these crimes will be solved and brought to justice.

In what way? Not sure what your saying as there has been so many angles and theories proposed.

I think she might have been getting ready to run. I'd still like to know what she spent all that money on.

I think she may have been getting ready to run to. In the first 911 call, while Cindy was waiting for the operator to find something, Casey saying something about "one more day" and Cindy's response was "I've given you a month, I'm not giving you one more day."

If that one more day had been granted, I think Casey would have disappeared.

Interesting on the Lakeland comment, earlier this eve I saw it briefly mentioned on another board in cyber land?

I didn't get the veiled reference to the "people involved". You I got! Thanks!

hoping to post the $500,000 bond on Monday.
The Padillas said they're doing this to "find the baby."
"We do not believe that the baby, that the 3-year-old is dead,” said Leonard Padilla. “We believe that she misplaced her, did something wrong, but we don't believe that she's dead. However, if it turns up that something happened, nothing is lost. Means she's gonna be under 24-hour surveillance."

I don't understand why so many are against her being bailed out. The authorities haven't been able to get anything out of her. Just maybe this Padilla guy holds the key.. Just maybe she will lead investigators to Caylee or the break they have been looking for. Maybe not, but it won't hurt to try. I absolutely cannot wait to see what she will do when she is out. If she killed Caylee, ultimately, she will pay. Everybody just wants closure either way. However loopy this Bail Guy from Cali seems or whatever his underlying intentions may be...let him try. Sitting in the cell hasn't broke her.

I agree, let him do whatever it is he does. Like you said it certainly
can't hurt.

I just wonder how close Biase is really going to let Padilla to her.

Because so many of us have become addicted to this case, when this is all over we will need to start implementing a ten step program for case withdrawal!

No more so than when the Peterson case was over.

You see at that point she would not have had any other choice. She wasn't about to come back and NOT have Caylee. Others questioned why she didn't run sooner then. That I'm still thinking about.
